Today’s episode begins with Anupama hearing about Chef Kunal who is popular among local Indian cuisine lovers. He owns a big cafe and runs a famous food vlog where he travels and reviews restaurants. Kunal shares that he has researched many traditional Indian recipes and recreated them in his own style. However there is one taste he has never been able to recreate his mother’s handmade Kausar Pak and Pakki Kairi No Ghotala.
He announces that if anyone can make these dishes they should contact him. He will personally come taste the food and decide whether that person can truly preserve this legacy.
Anupama immediately asks Banku to find his contact number. When Banku questions her Anupama recalls Anuj’s words that business only runs when pushed forward with courage. She says now is the time their cafe will not just run but grow and succeed.
Anil Warns Vasundhara
Meanwhile Vasundhara asks Anil about the new quarter’s performance. Anil admits that the results are below expectations and the new designer’s creations are not being liked especially by Mahi. He says emotional decisions should not be taken in business and trusting Gautam was a mistake and he is trying to separate Mahi from both the family and the business.
Vasundhara saus not just Gautam but she also wanted this. She is happy that Mahi is now away from their family and business.
Anupama Reaches Kunal’s House
Anupama reaches outside Kunal’s house and requests the security guard to let her meet him. The guard asks if she has an appointment. She says no but insists that he pass her message since she came after hearing his announcement. The guard refuses.
Anupama doesn’t give up. She cleverly places her freshly cooked dish near the fan so that its aroma spreads. The guard notices the amazing smell but still hesitates. Anupama says maybe this will help her get an appointment. Eventually the guard opens the gate. She thanks him and hopes her hard work will pay off because of Saavi’s cafe and everyone’s hopes depend on Kunal.
Prem Breaks Down Over His Lost Dream
Prem returns home and Meeta asks if he read the news about a big cooking competition in Ahmedabad happening after five years. She says if Anupama had helped him get a license earlier he could have participated under his restaurant’s name.
Prem however is deeply hurt. He says he will not participate in any cooking competition because he has no connection left with cooking or the person he once was. He has given up his dream of owning a cafe and doesn’t want to work in this field anymore. His pain and frustration clearly show as he says she can laugh at him but he cannot take it anymore.
Meeta Blame Anupama
Rahi confronts Meeta for being insensitive towards Prem. Meeta defends herself saying she only spoke what was written in the news and blames Anupama for everything. Raj tells Meeta to let Prem live peacefully.
Khyati questions why Meeta is speaking so harshly when Prem has done nothing wrong. Rahi adds that Meeta has no idea what Prem is going through. Pari supports Meeta saying she is not wrong and that responsibility should not always be shifted onto others. The argument escalates as Rahi insists that Prem needs family support not criticism. Meeta taunts that people without work have time to stress over such things and leave with Pari.
Vasundhara again calls Anupama a storm who enters lives and leaves destruction behind. Raj apologizes to Rahi while Khyati asks her to trust that Prem will smile again. Rahi wonders if she will ever be able to forget the damage done this time.
Kunal Meets Anupama
The aroma of Anupama’s dish finally brings Kunal outside. She excitedly tells him she made the dish he mentioned on the radio. Kunal invites her inside.
Anupama apologizes for coming without an appointment. Kunal replies that the appointment wasn’t taken by her but by the fragrance of her food. He says ignoring such an amazing aroma would be an insult to food lovers.
Anupama presents the dish explaining it’s her mother’s recipe passed down from her grandmother a true family legacy. Kunal jokingly says he cannot taste it because once he starts he won’t be able to stop and will have to spend extra hours in the gym. Anupama gives him amla mukhwas and convinces him.
Kunal tastes the dish and is deeply moved. He says it reminds him of his mother’s cooking. Anupama shares about her cafe which reopened after 10 years but people are unaware of it. She requests him to visit and try their food. Even if he doesn’t like it she asks him to at least post one story about their cafe
Kunal agrees and says he will come the next day. Anupama feels hopeful thinking that on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya something good will finally happen.
Leela and Hasmukh’s Hidden Struggles
Leela is seen cooking in pain but hides it from everyone. Jashoda scolds her for not working properly and threatens to replace her. Leela insists she will finish the work as she needs the job.
Meanwhile Toshu and Gautam spot Hasmukh selling incense stick on the road. Gautam mocks the Shah family’s condition and tries to provoke Toshu by blaming Anupama for their downfall. Toshu feels insulted.
A delivery boy faints near Hasmukh and he helps him by delivering a parcel to a nearby house which turns out to be Jashoda’s. There Jashoda insults Leela’s cooking and throws her out. Hasmukh arrives and is shocked to see Leela. They both realize they were hiding their struggles from each other and become emotional.
Kunal Visits the Cafe
At the cafe Anupama and Banku nervously wait for Kunal. Despite Digvijay’s doubts Anupama remains hopeful and says they must never lose hope.
Digvijay argues that life is not as easy as she believes. Anupama replies that life is not as difficult as he thinks either. Just then Kunal arrives.
Everyone is surprised. Anupama welcomes him warmly. Banku gets nervous but Anupama says only God knows what will happen next.
Kunal repeats the same negative things Digvijay had earlier said about him leaving Anupama shocked.
Precap: Kunal praises Anupama’s food and agrees to post a review. Soon customers start flooding the cafe bringing happiness and relief to everyone especially Digvijay.
But the joy doesn’t last long. Jaya and Banku inform Anupama that government officers have sealed the cafe. Anupama is left completely shocked.
