Following weeks of intense speculation regarding the production timeline of his next big project acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu has officially cleared the air. The director confirmed that his upcoming untitled musical starring Bollywood sensation Kartik Aaryan and South star Sreeleela is progressing steadily and remains scheduled for a theatrical release.
The project which has been the subject of various industry rumors suggesting potential delays is currently in the thick of production. Addressing the chatter Basu emphasized that the team is focused and that the filming process is moving forward as planned.

“We are very much on schedule and the shoot is progressing well. It’s a film we believe in deeply and we are bringing it to audiences as intended” Basu stated.
