Today’s episode begins with Seher seeing Mahid playing with a toy train. She notices Gazala’s letter and realizes that Mahid must have received his mother’s letter before anyone else could get it. She observes how restless he looks and assumes that he has already read it. Seher wonders how she should approach him and how she can offer him comfort in such a painful moment.
Mahid Regrets Misjudging His Mother
Mahid imagines Gazala and says that if he had received this letter earlier he would have known that his mother was innocent. Instead he misunderstood her all these years thinking she was guilty even though she never wanted to hurt him. She only wished for his better future.
He expresses deep pain saying that he always prayed for her to come back, place her hand on his head and assure him that everything would be fine but she never returned.
Mahid Realizes the Truth
Seher notices that Mahid is talking as if Gazala is really there. Mahid says that he knows why she has come to give him this letter but questions why it took fifteen years. He recognizes the handwriting instantly and admits he has already read the letter.
Seher realizes that he is speaking to his mother in his imagination. Mahid recalls the date mentioned in the letter saying it is etched in his memory the day she left him forever. The letter reveals that she didn’t abandon him but went away for his better future promising to return and take him along someday.
Mahid Guilt and Emotional Breakdown
Mahid breaks down admitting that for fifteen years he believed she betrayed him and thought of her as deceitful. Now he questions how he could have misunderstood her so badly. He wonders why she is silent and not responding to him.
He feels as if she is looking at him with victory in her eyes which only deepens his wounds. Unable to face her he says that God should punish him for his sins. He confesses that he was wrong not her and says he will endure every punishment before he can face her again.
He begs Gazala to leave saying he cannot bear to see that victorious glow on her face. Overwhelmed with guilt he breaks down in tears.
Seher Consoles Mahid
Seher feels deeply hurt seeing Mahid in such a state and sits beside him. She gently tells him that the shine in a mother’s eyes is not of victory no mother can feel happy seeing her child in pain.
Mahid asks how she knows this. Seher asks him to trust her and explains that she has seen not happiness but pain, love and helplessness in Gazala’s eyes the same emotions every mother feels for her child.
She tells him that even if a mother scolds or gets angry she can never hate her child. The pain he feels from being away from his mother is equally felt by her.
Mahid Seeks Forgiveness
Mahid begins to notice tears in Gazala’s eyes in his imagination. Realising his mistake he apologises to her for misunderstanding her and admits he never knew she was suffering. As Gazala appears to leave Mahid asks her not to go.
Seher Give Mahid Hope
Seher stops Mahid from running after her and tells him to let her go. She reassures him that his mother has not left him she is still with him.
When Mahid asks where Seher tells him that his mother lives in his heart. If he feels her with love he will always find her there. She asks him to place his hand on his heart and listen to his heartbeat he will find his mother there.
Mahid follows her words. Seher then asks him to lie down and rest.
Kauser Worries About Fareed
Meanwhile Kauser is worried about Fareed. Barkat says she has known Fareed for a long time but what Parvez did today was completely wrong. She also mentions sensing an unnamed bond between Kauser and Fareed.
Kauser admits she doesn’t understand all this but knows that Fareed is neither selfish nor greedy. He has often refused to meet her and even asked her to stay away yet fate keeps bringing them face to face.
She says she doesn’t want to know why he came today but hopes that if he comes again she won’t meet him as it could create problems at her workplace. After Parvez’s actions she doesn’t want any trouble because this job is very important for Seher and Muneera’s future. Kauser also wonders why Fareed lied about Muneera.
Seher Helps Mahid Find Peace
Back with Mahid Seher lies beside him and asks him to close his eyes and remember only the good moments he spent with his mother not with hatred,m but with love.
She asks him to recall her smile, her voice and the stories she used to tell him. Mahid begins to relive those memories and gradually he falls asleep.
Haider’s Actions Raise Suspicion
Meanwhile Haider helps the servants with their work despite their reluctance. He says he simply wants to share happiness and even distribute dates among them.
However Wasim observes this and suspects that Haider is trying to win everyone’s trust possibly aiming for the Mufti position. He believes Haider’s sweet behavior hides a deeper motive and decides to keep an eye on him.
Wasim Finds the Gazala’s Letter
While following Haider Wasim accidentally finds Gazala’s letter. He is shocked and wonders how it reached there. He fears that if Mahid has already read it the truth will come out that Gazala did not commit suicide. This realization leaves him deeply worried.
Seher Struggles With Her Feelings
Later Mahid is asleep while Seher watches him lovingly. She wants to touch him but hesitates. She reflects on the immense pain he carries within him.
She recalls Mahid talking to Nazima about their engagement and becomes emotional. She tells herself that she should not get involved with Mahid or she won’t be able to control her feelings.
She reminds herself that Mahid is moving forward with Nazima and has already removed her from his life. Before leaving she silently wishes that Mahid does not wake up until she is gone otherwise she might not be able to leave.
Precap: Mahid meets Seher and says he wants to ask her one last question whether she heard everything about him and Nazima.
Seher tells him she already knew about their engagement and congratulates him. Mahid asks if it doesn’t hurt her. Seher replies that it shouldn’t as Nazima is his childhood love and his happiness doesn’t depend on her feelings. Mahid says that their divorce is not yet finalized and therefore her consent is necessary for him to remarry.
