Today’s episode begins with Banku asking Anupama why she is still excited for Leela’s birthday despite the way Leela taunts and gets angry at her.
Anupama explains that their relationship is very complicated. For 25 years she was Leela’s daughter-in-law and was so scared of her that she could never even speak properly in front of her. Then one day everything changed when she got divorced from Leela’s son and the same woman became like a mother to her.
Anupama says she is very clear that Leela is her mother but Leela herself gets confused sometimes behaving like a loving mother and sometimes like a taunting mother-in-law.
Despite all the fights and argument they cannot stay away from each other. Banku admits he still doesn’t understand this relationship and Anupama simply says It’s complicated.
Anupama’s Dream of Having Her Own Home
Anupama notices a house for sale. Banku asks if she is thinking about her dream home.
Anupama replies emotionally that for middle-class people a dream house doesn’t really exist their own small house itself is their biggest dream.
She says it doesn’t matter how the house looks what matters is that it should be their own. She expresses hope that one day she will have a house of her own. Banku encourages her and says she will definitely achieve that dream.
Anupama Helps Khyati
Anupama is shocked to see Khyati lying unconscious on the road. She rushes to help her and brings her back to consciousness.
Khyati shares that she has been feeling unwell for months experiencing dizziness and fatigue. Anupama realizes these are symptoms of pre-menopause. Khyati says Rahi had told her the same and that she was just returning from the doctor.
Anupama explains that women often ignore menopause symptoms which can lead to serious health issues. She stresses that women should not hesitate to talk about it and must take proper care of themselves. She advises Khyati to be cautious and prioritize her health.
Khyati’s Warning About Shruti
Khyati tells Anupama that even though she didn’t give birth to Rahi she is still her true mother because she gave her values and upbringing.
Anupama says Rahi’s anger comes from her father but she believes it will fade with time. However Khyati warns her not to ignore the situation. She says the distance between a mother and daughter can turn into a wall if not handled carefully.
She specifically warns Anupama about Shruti saying that anger is like a spark and people like Shruti act like fuel making it worse. She advises Anupama to stay alert because Shruti might create problems and take advantage of the situation.
Anupama Emotional Conversations
Anupama talks about Leela’s love for getting ready and shares that he promised Hasmukh he would make a gajra (flower accessory) for her with his own hands.
Banku admits he is scared of Leela but says the rest of the family members are nice. Digvijay says he really liked being with the family. Anupama explains that a family cannot exist without conflicts but no matter what happens family remains family.
She shares that even after her divorce from Vanraj she never separated from the family completely. During festivals and celebrations everyone forgets their differences and comes together. Digvijay recalls how his own family used to be like that but after Saavi left everything fell apart and he was left alone.
Anupama relates to him saying she has also faced loneliness many times in life. She learned that a true family is the one that stands with you in happiness and sorrow. She encourages Digvijay to try building a new family and reminds him that tomorrow is a special day Leela’s birthday when the whole family will come together again.
Vasundhara Decide to Attend the Birthday
Rahi tells Vasundhara that she wants to attend the birthday only for Leela not to meet Anupama. Prem says Hasmukh invited them lovingly and he doesn’t want to disappoint him.
Vasundhara agrees to go saying that even though distances between families have increased because of Anupama she will cross that distance for one day. She believes relationships should not break despite complications. Gautam becomes suspicious of her intentions. Vasundhara insists on going and even asks Shruti to join.
Shruti hesitates saying it might create unnecessary complications but Vasundhara insists that if Rahi’s family is going everyone should go together.
Anupama Remains Hopeful
Digvijay asks Anupama if she is thinking about Rahi. Anupama gets emotional and admits they haven’t spoken yet but she believes Rahi’s anger will fade one day.
She recalls Khyati’s warning about Shruti but reassures herself that her love as a mother will not weaken and everything will eventually be fine.
Vasundhara’s Shocking Plan Against Anupama
Vasundhara reveals her real intentions to Gautam. She says Anupama has only given pain to her and her children and now she will return that pain.
She claims that no one can come between a mother and daughter but in this case Shruti will create a permanent distance between Rahi and Anupama. She adds that Shruti hates Anupama and will slowly replace her in Rahi’s life.
Vasundhara chillingly declares that she wants to see Anupama cry tears of blood and plans to give her a wound that will never heal.
Leela’s Birthday Celebration Begins
The next morning Hasmukh blindfolds Leela and surprises her with decorations. She gets emotional seeing the arrangements.
He places the gajra made by Anupama in her hair and Leela calls it the best gift. The family gathers and wishes her. Toshu and Pakhi complain that they weren’t informed about the surprise while Kinjal taunts them.
Mahi and Pari give gifts to Leela a saree and jewellery and ask her to get ready.
Anupama’s Presence Upsets Leela
Leela breaks balloons as part of the celebration and Anupama appears from behind them to wish her. Leela becomes uncomfortable seeing her.
Anupama tries to take her blessings but Leela refuses. With Jaya’s help Anupama manages to take blessings anyway. She requests Leela to forget everything for the day and promises that anyone present is there only for her happiness.
Anupama sends the ladies to help Leela get ready while she stays back saying her presence might upset Leela further. Ishani offers help to Banku but Pakhi interrupts and takes her away. Leela gets ready and advises the girls that dressing up boosts confidence and happiness.
Anupama Waits for Rahi and Prem
Anupama believes Rahi and Prem will definitely come. She feels they will hide their anger for Leela’s happiness. She silently prays that nothing happens that tests their patience. She wants the day to remain special for Leela.
Digvijay’s Entry Shocks Leela
Leela finally appears in a beautiful look and everyone praises her. Kinjal asks Anupama to perform Leela’s aarti but Leela is still unhappy with her presence.
Just then Digvijay arrives at the Shah house leaving Leela shocked.
Precap: Anupama forgets the knife for cutting the cake and Digvijay brings one for her.Rahi is shocked seeing this. Shruti taunts Anupama accusing her of forgetting Anuj so easily. Anupama defends herself saying people don’t even take God’s name as much as she remembers Anuj. Rahi lashes out saying remembering Anuj doesn’t erase her mistakes. Digvijay scolds Rahi for speaking like that to her mother.
Rahi snaps back saying when she shouts at her own mother why does it bother him so much hinting that Anupama has replaced Anuj with Digvijay. Anupama gets furious and says that a daughter who forgets her father’s values and thinks so poorly is the worst daughter in the world and she is not a bad mother. Rahi is left completely shocked.
