Today’s episode starts with Fatima angrily asking Wasim what he has done. Wasim coldly replies that whenever something gives him pain he removes it from his life completely. Fatima becomes worried and thinks that she has never seen Wasim this restless and disturbed before.
Mahid Admires Seher
Meanwhile Seher notices that the cat is scared. She lovingly tells the cat not to be afraid because Mahid will protect her. Mahid smiles and says only Seher can talk to cats and walls because nobody else would understand them.
Ignoring his teasing Seher continues taking care of the cat while Mahid quietly admires her innocence and kindness.
Kausar Feels Broken and Hopeless
The next morning Seher notices Kausar sitting silently and asks what happened. Kausar sadly says she no longer feels like doing anything neither cooking nor managing the house. She says life has become strange because whenever she tries to hold one thing together something else slips away from her hands.
Seher gently reminds Kausar about the lesson she once taught her that when a bird finds open skies it spreads its wings and flies fearlessly wherever destiny takes it. She tells Kausar not to overthink and trust that she will eventually reach her destination.
However Kausar says she cannot even eat peacefully in this house because people constantly judge her and look at her with hatred. She says ever since childhood people only noticed her flaws and never appreciated her goodness. Now she has reached a point where she no longer has the strength to tolerate taunts.
Seher emotionally tells Kausar that she has always been a strong woman and should not lose courage now. She assures her that everything will become alright soon. Seher also says that once they start earning properly they will buy a house of their own. Kausar becomes emotional hearing Seher speak so maturely and praises her wisdom.
Mahid Comforts Kausar
While Seher goes to bring breakfast she accidentally bumps into Mahid. She asks whether he wanted something from her. Mahid says he came to meet Kausar.
Seher silently thinks it is good that Mahid came to check on Kausar. After a brief argument she leaves the two alone. Mahid tells Kausar that she should consider this house as her own and feel safe there. Kausar emotionally replies that she feels guilty because his family may think she is taking advantage of him. She says she will leave after a few days.
Mahid understands that Kausar may feel uncomfortable because Seher and he are living under the same roof. Kausar admits that earlier she believed Mahid was taking advantage of Seher but now she realizes he is actually a kind-hearted man.
Kausar Learns the Truth About Mahid and Nazima
Kausar reveals that when she came to deliver Nazima’s engagement dress she overheard Mahid and Nazima’s conversation. That is when she discovered Mahid agreed to the engagement only to convince Seher that he truly wanted to stay away from her.
Mahid immediately requests Kausar not to let Seher know the truth because it would only complicate things for her. Kausar apologizes for misunderstanding him earlier. Mahid stops her and says she should never apologize for protecting her daughter because every mother only wants her child’s happiness.
Kausar then emotionally says that because of Parvez’s cruelty she always believed every man was selfish and heartless. But after meeting Mahid she realizes not everyone is the same. She praises Mahid’s upbringing and says his mother must have raised him with great values. Mahid gets emotional hearing Kausar bless him.
Seher Faces Humiliation Inside Mahid’s House
Later Usman asks the family why everyone looks upset. Husna quietly murmurs that everyone is disturbed because of Seher.
Just then Usman notices Seher entering the house and becomes happy seeing her. He warmly welcomes her and asks her to have breakfast. However Nazima angrily stops Seher from taking food. Seher asks her what she is doing and seher tells her to leave her hand.
Nazima emotionally asks why Seher refuses to leave their lives alone. She says Seher was already thrown out of the house once so why did she return? Nazima accuses her of trying to regain her position as the daughter-in-law of the family. Seher firmly replies that she has no interest in becoming this house’s daughter-in-law again or tolerating Nazima and Husna’s insults. She says she is only staying there as Mahid’s guest.
Nazima mocks Seher’s guest act but Seher says if she has doubts she can ask Husna herself for confirmation.
Usman Supports Seher and Kausar
Usman openly says he does not care in what capacity Seher returned because her presence brightens the house.
Husna sarcastically points out that Kausar has also returned with her. Usman replies that Kausar coming back is actually a good thing because after everything Parvez did to her Mahid was right to stand by her side.
Wasim asks what exactly Parvez did. Usman then reveals the horrifying truth that Parvez tried to drown Kausar in a water tank to kill her. He says Mahid saved her just in time. Husna again tries humiliating Seher but Seher confidently says Parvez may have hurt Kausar deeply but he also unintentionally taught her how to fight for herself. She proudly says she does not like living dependent on others and walks away.
Fareed Feels Hurt by Amal’s Confession
Amal brings juice for Fareed. Fareed asks her to sit with him for a while. Amal begins asking about his likes and dislikes.
During their conversation Amal admits that she feels disconnected from both Fareed and the Sultan family. Fareed says it is not necessary for everything to become normal immediately because her love itself is enough for him.
However Amal says that although she has received a lot of love since childhood it often feels like an obligation instead of freedom. She says she wants independence and walks away leaving Fareed hurt and worried.
Mahid and Seher Secretly Follow Kausar
Later Kausar leaves for her workshop. Unknown to her Mahid and Seher secretly follow behind her to ensure her safety.
Kausar catches them red-handed and asks why they are following her. Seher lies and says she was also heading towards the workshop while Mahid awkwardly says he simply wanted to accompany her. Kausar immediately understands they are lying.
Mahid finally admits they were following her because they are worried about her safety. He says he does not want anyone troubling or hurting her again and everyone should know that she is not alone anymore. Mahid says just like Seher worries about Kausar he worries too the only difference is that unlike Seher he cannot hide his concern behind excuses.
Kausar orders both of them to go back home but they continue following her anyway. Once she safely reaches the workshop she again tells them to leave.
Seher Questions Mahid’s Fear
After Kausar reaches safely Seher questions Mahid about why he did not directly ask Kausar for permission to help catch her attacker. She reminds him that he himself insisted permission was important.
Mahid explains that after seeing Kausar’s condition last night he could not gather the courage to ask her about such painful matters. Seher argues that they cannot sit silently forever. Mahid emotionally says that for the first time someone praised his mother’s upbringing and he did not want Kausar to misunderstand him again.
While arguing Seher’s balance slips and Mahid catches her. Both of them share an emotional close moment.
Kausar Gives Permission to Mahid and Seher
Seher later brings Kausar to Mahid and explains everything to her. She says Mahid wants her help but refuses to proceed without Kausar’s permission.
Mahid immediately says Seher forced him into this situation because he never wanted to pressure Kausar. Seher teasingly asks whether that means Mahid does not want to help at all. Mahid clarifies that he cannot take her help without Kausar’s consent because her decision matters the most.
Finally Kausar gives permission and allows both Seher and Mahid to help her fight against her problems. However she warns Mahid to protect both Seher and himself carefully.
Mahid promises that nothing bad will happen to them. Seher and Mahid become happy after finally getting Kausar’s approval.
Mahid Refuses to Marry Nazima
Later Mahid learns that an inspector wants to meet him. At the same time Nazima comes to him and says she does not want a grand engagement celebration anymore. She only wants their engagement to happen properly.
Nazima says she knows Mahid agreed to the engagement only to stay away from Seher but now Seher is already back in the house. Therefore she believes it is even more important to complete the engagement immediately.
She emotionally says they should exchange rings right away. However Mahid refuses. He says his life is already too complicated and broken at the moment and he does not want to complicate it further by proceeding with the engagement. Nazima gets heartbroken and leaves in tears.
Seher Becomes Suspicious
Nazima crosses paths with Seher and angrily blames her for ruining everything. She accuses Seher of winning while she herself lost because Mahid refused to marry her.
Later Seher asks Mahid why he suddenly refused to get engaged to Nazima if she truly was his childhood love. Mahid avoids answering properly and says he has already told Seher many times that his distance from her should itself be enough reason for her to stay away from him regardless of whether he gets engaged or not.
Seher silently thinks that something is definitely wrong between Mahid and Nazima.
Inspector Reveals Shocking Truth About Gazala’s Death
The inspector arrives and asks Mahid to check Gazala’s case file before they decide how to proceed further.
Mahid becomes emotional while recalling Gazala’s memories. Before he can open the file Seher quickly snatches it from him and says she will check it instead. The inspector then reveals a shocking detail when Gazala’s body was recovered there were finger marks on her neck. Even the postmortem report confirmed signs of strangulation.
Mahid and Seher are left completely shocked hearing this revelation.
