Today’s episode begins with Dua telling Bunty that she is going to her room because she wants to call Dhairya. She worries that she has no idea where he suddenly disappeared. At that moment Vikrant stops her and says he knows she is searching for Dhairya but he is not around right now. He tries to cheer her up and suggests that they can play together or watch a movie instead.
Vikrant then insists that Dua eat the cupcake he brought for her. However Dua immediately replies that Dhairya is her only favorite. Vikrant calmly says he already knows that but since Dhairya is not there he wonders if he can take a little bit of his place for some time. He clarifies that he is not trying to replace Dhairya and only wants to be there for her when Dhairya is away.
Dua suddenly loses her temper and shouts that he can never become her favorite. She says Dhairya had asked her to give Vikrant one chance which is why she stayed quiet till now but she cannot tolerate him trying to take Dhairya’s place.
She further tells Vikrant that she is not his child and will never become his daughter. Dua angrily says he may win Bunty over with cupcakes but he can never make her accept him. She accuses him of believing that keeping her in his huge house will make her consider him her father.
Dua says relationships are built with love not with expensive things because that is what Dhairya taught her. She openly tells Vikrant that she does not like him, calls him a bad person, blames him for destroying her happy family and even says she hates him.
Vikrant is left completely shattered hearing those harsh words.
Mannat apologizes to Vikrant on Dua’s behalf
Just then Mannat Dhairya and Ronnie arrive there and overhear everything. All of them are shocked. Vikrant immediately tries to defend Dua but Mannat says she never taught Dua to lie. She apologizes to Vikrant on Dua’s behalf and admits that Dua should not have spoken to him in such a disrespectful manner.
Bunty innocently tells Dua that she is lucky because her mother apologized for her instead of slapping her. Dua reluctantly apologizes to Vikrant only because Mannat told her to do so. She clearly says that otherwise she would never have apologized because she still does not like him and does not want him in her life.
Vikrant silently absorbs the pain.
Mannat Scolds Dua for Her Behavior
Mannat becomes upset and says she always believed she had taught Dua to respect others but perhaps she failed as a mother. Dua becomes confused and asks why she is saying such things.
Mannat replies that she is only speaking the truth. Dua again insists that she does not want Vikrant to become her father. Mannat calmly tells her that if she truly does not want Vikrant to become her father then nobody will force her. However that still does not give her the right to insult him. She reminds Dua that Vikrant did nothing wrong and was only trying to offer her a cupcake.
Mannat explains that whenever children make mistakes parents often have to apologize for them. Feeling guilty Dua finally apologizes properly before running away from there.
Vikrant Defends Dua
After Dua leaves Vikrant questions Mannat about why she spoke so harshly to the little girl. He says Dua was not rude intentionally and at least she was trying to communicate her feelings openly and Mannat should not have upset her more.
Mannat replies that this is called parenting. She says she will talk to Dua personally later. But Dhairya tells Mannat that he will handle the situation and speak to Dua himself.
Ronnie silently watches everything and feels suspicious. He wonders why Dhairya is going on a secret undercover mission when so much is already happening in the house. Ronnie starts doubting Dhairya’s intentions.
Dhairya Comforts Dua
Dhairya goes to meet Dua who is sitting alone and crying. The moment she sees him she hugs him tightly.
He lovingly consoles her while Dua complains that Mannat became angry only because of Vikrant. She says she was forced to apologize even though she never wanted to.
Dua explains that she only came to Mumbai to participate in the contest but Vikrant has been troubling her constantly. She admits that sometimes Vikrant behaves nicely and after speaking rudely to him she also felt bad but because of Vikrant Dhairya was upset and which is why she became angry she says Vikrant keeps claiming to be her father. She emotionally questions why if Vikrant truly is her father he never came earlier to take Dhairya’s place in her life.
Dhairya gently reassures her that nobody can ever take his place in her life and promises he will always stay beside her. He also explains that Mannat had to apologize to Vikrant because Dua behaved rudely with him.
Dhairya manipulates Dua against Mannat
Dua sadly says she feels Mannat no longer loves her because she scolded her. Dhairya immediately comforts her and says Mannat loves her more than anything in the world.
He slowly starts manipulating Dua against Mannat and says that he loves Dua even more. He tells her that Mannat already has many people in her life who love her but Dhairya only has Dua.
Dhairya further says that Mannat loves Vikrant just as much as she loves Dua. Ronnie overhears this entire conversation and starts wondering why Dhairya is speaking to Dua in such an emotional and influential manner.
Vikrant Questions His Own Decisions
Elsewhere Mannat once again apologizes to Vikrant for Dua’s behavior. Vikrant says he is not hurt because of Dua’s harsh words. Instead he feels bad thinking about how many complicated emotions and situations the little girl has been forced to face at such a young age. He says he never wants to make her life more difficult.
Mannat emotionally says it feels like every attempt to fix things is only making the situation worse. Vikrant then admits that after seeing Dua’s reaction a frightening thought entered his mind. He wonders whether what they are doing is even right or if he is selfishly ruining Dua’s life for his own happiness.
Ronnie Suspect Dhairya’s intentions.
Dhairya later explains to Dua that Mannat wants to marry Vikrant and hopes that Dua will eventually accept him as family. Therefore Mannat naturally felt hurt after Dua spoke rudely to him.
Dua innocently asks why Mannat wants to marry Vikrant at all and why she likes him so much. According to Dua Mannat should only love Dhairya.
Dhairya patiently explains that nobody can force another person to love someone. He promises her once again that he will never leave her alone and says she never needs to worry as long as he is with her. However he asks for one promise in return that she will never speak rudely to anyone again. Dua finally agrees and promises him.
Ronnie watches from a distance and begins suspecting that Dhairya may secretly not want Vikrant and Mannat to unite.
Vikrant Promises to Prioritize Dua
Meanwhile Mannat tells Vikrant that he genuinely wants all of them to live together as one happy family. Vikrant emotionally says that there is nothing in the world he wants more than that.
He admits that until now, both he and Dhairya were talking to Dua but perhaps they were making mistakes. Vikrant tells Mannat to talk to Dua and make her understand. He says that a mother understands her child’s emotions better than anyone which is why he believes Mannat should speak to Dua personally.
Mannat nervously asks what will happen if she fails to convince Dua. Vikrant immediately declares that if Dua cannot accept their marriage then the wedding simply will not happen. He says he will never force anything upon her. Mannat becomes emotional hearing this.
Vikrant promises he will continue trying patiently until the very last moment but if Dua still refuses he will sacrifice his own happiness because Dua’s consent matters the most.He firmly says that Dua will always remain their first priority.
Mannat hugs Vikrant and emotionally tells him she believed he had not changed at all during the last seven years but today she realizes how mature and understanding he has become. She thanks him for handling everything with patience and maturity instead of getting angry at Dua.
Vikrant lovingly replies that Dua is his daughter and stubbornness cannot be handled through force only patience and love can slowly win her heart. He then asks Mannat to talk to Dua once again.
Mannat Gets Worried for Dua
As Mannat walks away she suddenly notices Dua’s protective ankle thread lying on the floor. The sight terrifies her, and she immediately fears that something bad is about to happen to Dua. Vikrant consoles her and asks her not to think negatively.
Ronnie Questions Dhairya’s Intentions
Later Vikrant notices Ronnie looking tense and asks if everything is alright. He tells Ronnie that although he may not fully trust him yet he can still share whatever is bothering him.
Ronnie finally asks whether Vikrant knows that Dhairya loves Mannat. Vikrant calmly replies that Dhairya himself had already confessed this to him earlier. Ronnie is left stunned. He then questions whether a person can truly give up on love so easily or whether someone deeply in love can cross any limit to get the person they love.
Vikrant asks Ronnie why he is suddenly saying such things and whether Dhairya did something suspicious. Ronnie replies that Dhairya quietly accepted everything because he knows Mannat has only ever loved Vikrant. However something about Dhairya’s recent behavior feels strange to him as though he is hiding something.
Vikrant dismisses Ronnie’s doubts and says Dhairya may simply be hiding his emotions. He insists Dhairya can never intentionally hurt Mannat or Dua because he has a pure heart. Ronnie warns that when fear becomes stronger than love people sometimes forget the difference between right and wrong and can go to any extent to keep their loved ones close.
Vikrant however compares the situation with Vishakha and says neither he nor Mannat ever chose a wrong path despite all the pain and Dhairya is far better than most people and would never hurt them. Ronnie finally says perhaps he is overthinking everything.
Neetu Tries to Turn Ronnie Against Dhairya
Ronnie later goes to the kitchen where Neetu approaches him and asks how long he will continue ignoring her.
She claims Ronnie keeps misunderstanding her intentions but asks him to listen calmly for once. Neetu argues that Dhairya is not as noble as everyone believes if Dhairya were truly good-hearted he himself would have encouraged Vikrant to raise Dua together as her father. Instead Dhairya took Mannat and Dua away to Indore.
Neetu compares Dhairya’s actions to Vishakha’s manipulation from the past. She says Vishakha separated Vikrant from his family emotionally and now Dhairya is doing the same thing in a different way.
Ronnie refuses to accept her accusations and says Dhairya is nowhere close to being like Vishakha. He insists Dhairya can never intentionally hurt Vikrant, Mannat or Dua. Still Neetu warns Ronnie that Dhairya’s fear of losing Mannat and Dua may eventually create distance between Dua and Vikrant forever.
Although Ronnie tells Neetu to stop overthinking her words continue troubling him internally.
Mannat Narrates Her Love Story to Dua
Later Bunty apologizes to Dua for everything that happened earlier. Mannat then arrives and offers to tell them a story. Using dolls she narrates her entire love story with Vikrant.
She explains how Shruti raised her, how she met Vikrant, how they got separated, how Dua entered her life and finally how Dhairya became an important part of their family. The emotional storytelling leaves Dua quietly listening to every detail.
Precap: Mannat asks Dua whether she will accept her marriage with Vikrant if it makes her happy. Dua replies that if Mannat is happy then she is happy too.
Later Vikrant romantically proposes marriage to Mannat. However Dhairya secretly decides to destroy Vikrant and Mannat’s wedding and turn their most awaited marriage into a disastrous nightmare.
