The Thursday episode of Jhanak started off with Jhanak who was seen crying at night while thinking of Nutan and Parasar. She thought how her mother fought all her life for various things
The next day Rishi and Jhanak called a witness to know who all are behind Parasar’s case? He informed them that the ministers, police and businessmen used to pressurize the villagers of Simulbuni against land and crops.
On the other hand, Driti, Jethu, Abhinanyu, Tanushree, Mishti, Sanjh, Indumati were seen talking about Jhanak and her state.
Driti said I don’t think so that Jhanak’s decision of backing off from politics is not completely correct as you cannot change the system from outside of it.
In the meantime, the witness told Rishi and Jhanak that he was the one who used to look after all the transactions and accounts for doing illegal transactions upto keeping the bookkeeping for the meetings they used to held behind Parasar and his people.
The high profile people didn’t had any face as they got Parasar for it. They slowly started pinning him down by throwing many difficulties in front of him
Corrupted politicians and businessmen hate people like Parasar who are honest at heart because they cannot buy or stop them.
Mishti praised Jhanak and said she has fought all her life in her professional and public life. Driti said if she doesn’t go into politics then she will not be able to bring the change she is looking for as opening a medical clinic will not suffice.
Jethu said the biggest tragedy of politics is that the good people doesn’t want to be a part of the system to change it and therefore they live outside of it and while sitting in a cafe over a tea they comment about the corrupted people controlling the system.
Jhanak and Rishi requested the witness to take the names of people who are behind Parasar. He wasn’t willing to share those and said you are a police man and is save but I am an ordinary man who has a family.
Rishi informed him that he has left his job and is an ordinary man just like him. He said now even you cannot save me as you are not a part of the system anymore.
