Today’s episode begins with Digvijay telling Prerna that even if water and air become scarce a person still lives with hope that tomorrow will be better than today. He says hope teaches people how to move forward in life. Digvijay asks prerna if she can trust strangers every day then she should trust herself at least once. He encourages her to hope for better relationships and believes destiny has brought Ansh into her life. He asks Prerna not to let fear rule his heart.
Meanwhile Anupama says that Ansh has locked himself inside his fear but life does not work that way. She tells him that if he wants to feel guilty he should feel guilty for turning away from happiness. Anupama says that he is afraid to trust hope and even God now. She reminds him that life gave her a second chance at happiness so why can’t he give himself one too.
Ansh asks Anupama what he should do. Anupama advises him to talk to Prerna. At the same time Digvijay asks Prerna to speak with Ansh and find out whether he can become more than just a friend.
Anupama tells Ansh that Prerna is a wonderful girl. Both of them have lost a lot in life but together they may find happiness again. Digvijay says he strongly believes their friendship can turn into love. Anupama encourages Ansh to speak openly about love and allow happiness to enter his life again. She says Prerna could become his life partner.
Digvijay adds that once someone finds a true companion even the hardest journey becomes easier. Ansh hugs Anupama while Prerna hugs Digvijay. Both families feel emotional and happy. Anupama dances with Ansh and Digvijay dances with Prerna and celebrates.
Prem Gets Selected for the Food Carnival
Elsewhere Shruti asks Prem why he insists on doing everything by himself. Prem replies that he does not want anything to go wrong. Shruti reminds him that experienced people should also be hired because they have a lot of work ahead.
She points out that managing the cafe and handling such a big order is not a one-person job. Seeing how tired he looks she advises him to take a lunch break. Prem agrees.
Soon Prem receives a call from the Food Carnival and becomes very happy. He tells Shruti that his cafe has been selected for the competition. Shruti ask whether Anupama’s cafe had also submitted a form.
Prem thinks that Anupama’s form was never submitted and the registration deadline has already passed. He tells Shruti that he has no information about Anupama’s registration. Shruti congratulates him on his success.
Digvijay and Anupama Discuss Ansh and Prerna
Later Digvijay and Anupama continue discussing Ansh and Prerna. Digvijay says that Prerna told him that her mother was Anupama’s friend. Anupama says that Prerna’s mother betrayed both her and Prerna by using them.
Digvijay says he and Ansh suffer the same kind of heartbreak. He says the person they loved was taken away from them by fate. Anupama says she truly believes that Ansh and Prerna can be together and that love can heal their wounds. Digvijay agrees saying that friendship is often the first step toward love.
They notice Ansh and Prerna together and feel happy for them. Meanwhile Digvijay quietly stops a ball from hitting Anupama without her noticing.
Ansh Doubt Prem
Toshu arrives with sweets and shares the good news that Prem’s cafe has been selected for the Food Carnival competition.
Anupama immediately asks Digvijay whether they have received any call. She starts worrying that something may have gone wrong. Later Digvijay contacts the Food Carnival office and is shocked by what he learns. He informs Anupama that according to the organizers their cafe was never registered for the competition.
Anupama is stunned and says that it cannot be possible. She suggests submitting the form again immediately. However Digvijay reminds her that the registration deadline expired the previous day.
Anupama feels shattered. Ansh and Mahi also learn about the situation. Ansh believes there must be some solution. He asked when Anupama went to submit the form both Rahi and Prem were present. Mahi wonders whether they might have done something with the form. However Anupama refuses to believe that Rahi could do such a thing.
Ansh is not convinced and says that Prem is obsessed with winning. He believes that a person who can forget his own mother may also ignore his morals. Anupama and Digvijay decide to visit the Food Carnival office and make one final attempt to register.
Prem and Rahi Grow Further Apart
Later Prem wants to hug Rahi but suddenly stops himself. Rahi notices and asks why he stepped back.
Prem refuses to hug her. Rahi reminds him that she has always stood by his side and cannot understand why he is behaving this way. Prem says that although she is physically close to him she is emotionally distant because she no longer hates Anupama. He feels that she has started sympathizing with Anupama and Digvijay.
Rahi replies that she does not know whether that is true or not but she has never gone to tell them anything and is still standing beside him. Prem ignore her and asks her to send his lunch to the café. After he leaves Rahi feels upset.
She worries that Prem’s stubbornness has become so strong that he can no longer see her love and support. She fears that this conflict may create a line between them that can never be erased.
Khyati Tries to Support Rahi
Meanwhile Khyati tells Rahi that she always knew she would never leave Prem. Rahi says she does not understand why Prem fails to see that. Khyati explains that Prem is currently blinded by his anger.
Khyati believes Rahi did the right thing by supporting Anupama. Rahi feels she should have kept her feelings hidden. Khyati asks how long she will continue proving her loyalty to Prem. Rahi replies that she will continue until Prem finally believes her.
Khyati asks what will happen if he never does Rahi admits she is afraid that the pressure may eventually break her. Rahi says she cannot give Prem any more pain. She is tired of constantly proving her love and loyalty. She declares that she is willing to do whatever Prem asks even if it means remaining Anupama’s enemy for life.
Khyati advises her to talk to Prem but Rahi says he is refusing to listen and keeps moving away from her. Khyati say that Prem is moving away from himself.
Rahi’s Health Truth Comes Out
Suddenly Rahi feels weak and nearly collapses. Khyati supports her. Khyati says she knows what is written in Rahi’s medical reports and wonders how long she plans to keep suffering without taking care of herself.
Rahi admits she does not know when she became so weak. She then reveals her biggest fear that she may never be able to fulfill Prem’s dream of becoming a father. She worries that she may not be able to give birth to a child.
Vasundhara overhears the conversation and is shocked. Prem also arrives and hears it. Khyati says Vasundhara has misunderstood the situation. Vasundhara accuses Rahi of hiding the truth from the family.
Rahi tries to explain that she wanted to tell Prem but never got the chance. Khyati supports Rahi and explains that she is only dealing with a hormonal imbalance.
Vasundhara Accuse Rahi
Khyati points out that the family has placed pressure on Rahi. She says the constant responsibilities, stress and emotional burden have worsened her health condition. She argues that if women do not support other women then who will?
Khyati explains that if Rahi receives proper care and focuses on her health she can recover from this condition. However Vasundhara refuses to listen. She says that irregular periods could prevent Rahi from conceiving and questions whether she will ever be able to give the family a grandchild.
She even compares Rahi with Pari and says at least Pari does not have such a problem and may give the family an heir. Pari defends Rahi saying this is not her fault and questioning why everyone is assuming she will never recover. Still Vasundhara remains negative and continues doubting Rahi’s future.
Anupama Prays for a Miracle
Elsewhere Anupama tries to stay strong. She encourages herself not to lose hope and believes everything will work out. Digvijay has gone to the Food Carnival office she prays to God that he succeeds and that their cafe gets another chance.
Precap: Anupama celebrates Leela and Hasmukh’s wedding anniversary at the Shah house. Prem and Rahi arrive for the celebration.
During the function Pari suddenly breaks down in tears. Anupama becomes worried and asks what happened. Pari appears to be crying because of Rahi leaving her shocked.
