Today’s episode begins with the competition host inviting all the judges to the stage. He first welcomes Manpreet Singh and mentions that she has taken Indian food worldwide.
Leela asks Hasmukh what the host is saying joking that Manpreet looks like someone who spills food while eating. Hasmukh says it means he has taken Indian food to every corner of the world. Leela comments she looks very strict.
Manpreet’s Strict Judging Worries Everyone
Vasundhara tells Anil she looks like the kind of judge who will find faults in every dish. Anil says he has watched Manpreet’s shows and knows she points out every small mistake.
The host introduces Manpreet as the Iron Lady of the Food World. Manpreet says people have turned cooking competitions into reality shows where contestants make excuses tell emotional stories and cry. she says none of that affects him.
she judges only the food not anyone’s personal struggles. Shruti tells everyone that they should be careful because Manpreet is a very strict judge.
Prem Warns His Team
Anupama says a strict judge is always the best because such judges give honest marks. Digvijay says people like Manpreet never understand anyone’s helplessness so they must be careful.
Prem says no one should make any mistakes in front of Manpreet.
Digvijay’s Link to Roy Worries Prem
The host introduces the second judge Roy D’Souza. Digvijay says he knows Roy. Roy says he not only likes good food but also pays attention to its presentation.
Digvijay tells everyone that Roy is from Goa and had once visited his cafe. Ishani gets excited after hearing about Digvijay’s connection with Roy. Digvijay says Roy is very professional. He never gives favors to anyone and never expects favors in return.
Anupama says they only need God’s blessings. Mahi says sometimes a connection can be useful.
Prem Grows Anxious
Shruti overhears the conversation and tells Prem that Roy knows Digvijay. Rahi says it does not matter because this is not a neighborhood competition where connections help. Prem agrees with Rahi.
The host introduces the third judge, Sikandar Ali. Sikandar says he does not want drama. He only wants good taste in the food.
The Knockout Round Begins
The host officially announces the start of the competition. Prem tells his team that they must impress all three judges.
Anupama says all three judges are experts and they can learn a lot from them. She says every piece of advice from the judges will help them in the future. The host announces that the competition started with sixteen families but now only four families remain.
From now on every round will be a knockout round. The host calls the first all teams on stage. After introducing them he calls Prem and Anupama’s teams. He says one team is led by a mother-in-law while the other is led by her son-in-law.
He says people usually see fights between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law in the kitchen but today they will see a competition between a mother-in-law and her son-in-law.
Prem Share his Goals
The host asks Prem why he joined the competition. Prem says he came to win not to prove anything. The host asks if he is confident.
Prem says hope is for weak people but strong people have confidence. He confidently says he knows he will win. Manpreet says he likes Prem’s straightforward attitude.Sikandar says Prem has confidence but sometimes too much confidence can burn the food.
Ansh says Prem never speaks negatively. Toshu tells Pakhi Prem will not let them win any challenge. He says he may have to borrow money from Pari. Pakhi says she wishes Ishani had married into a rich family. Still she says she will support Anupama’s team because she has no other choice.
She also says Anupama will not give her any money even if she wins. Leela asks them to stop gossiping.
Anupama Accepts Prem’s Challenge
The host asks Anupama how she feels about competing against her own son-in-law when sons-in-law are highly respected in their culture.
Anupama says she never imagined she would one day compete against her own daughter Rahi and her son-in-law Prem. However if that is what her children want she accepts it.
She says a mother always gives her children what they ask for. If her children see her as their competitor then she will compete with all her heart. She says even while competing a mother gives everything to her children.
Anupama Speaks About Her Dream
Anupama says she has also come to win. She reveals that she wants to fulfill her unfinished dream by winning this competition. The host asks what that dream is.
Anupama says she dreams of having a home where her name is written on the nameplate and where she has her own rights.
She says no one should be able to take away that dream from her. Anupama adds that others may be fighting for their ego but she is fighting for her rights. She says she will definitely win this battle.
She wishes all the teams good luck. She also wishes Rahi and Prem the very best.
The Judges React
Manpreet says he does not like reality shows where emotions are given more importance than talent.
He questions why Anupama participated if she had a problem competing against her own children. Sikandar says life is complicated. Many times people have to fight their own loved ones even when they do not want to.
Roy says they should not judge anyone before the competition even begins because that would not be fair.
The First Task Is Announced
The host asks every team to stand at their cooking stations. He says everyone there is no cheating and no second chance.
The winner moves ahead while the loser goes home. The first round begins. The host says each judge has a bowl filled with chits. Each chit has the name of a dish.
After receiving the dish name the team has to collect the required ingredients from the pantry. However there is a twist. The pantry will remain open for only two minutes. Only two members from each team apart from the captain can enter the pantry. The team captain must decide who will go.
Both Teams Choose Their Members
Anupama says Mahi and Kinjal should go because Ishani is not familiar with the ingredients.
Digvijay suggests that Prerna should go with Kinjal because she usually does the grocery shopping. Anupama agrees. Prem discusses the decision with his team. Rahi says she and Khyati should go.
Prem refuses and says he is the team captain. Prem says Khyati cannot handle pressure. He asks Shruti to go with Rahi. He tells Rahi to bring every important ingredient because they need the best ingredients for the presentation.
He warns them not to make any mistakes because one mistake could make them lose. Shruti assures him everything will be fine.
Anupama Motivates Her Team
Anupama tells her team that time is short but they must stay calm instead of panicking. She says that if they miss any ingredient they can ask someone for help.
Meanwhile Manpreet tells the other judges that if even one important ingredient is missing the team can be eliminated. Roy says that is the real test.
Sikandar says anyone who wants to win must think faster than time itself. He says they will soon find out who succeeds. The host asks every captain to announce their final decision.
Kinjal and Prerna come forward from Anupama’s team. Rahi and Shruti come forward from Prem’s team.
Vasundhara Worries About Prem’s Decision
Leela questions why Prem chose Shruti. She says Shruti does not know much. Leela also says seeing Prerna has spoiled her mood because she believes Mahi should have been chosen instead.
Hasmukh says both Prerna and Anupama are experienced and sensible. Vasundhara asks why Prem did not send Khyati. She believes Shruti will panic. She says Prem made the wrong decision and now Rahi will have to do the work of two people.
Anil says the round has not even started yet so they should not judge so quickly. Vasundhara says she can already see the result of Prem’s mistake.
Ansh Defends Anupama
Toshu says Anupama sent Kinjal because she will later pay her for the work. Pakhi complains that Ishani was not given a chance. She accuses Anupama of favoring Ansh.
Ansh defends Anupama. He says she is not partial. He says Prerna was selected because of her experience. He also says this is only the first task and Ishani will get more chances later.
The Competition Takes a Dramatic Turn
The host says Rahi is now competing against both of her sisters-in-law. He asks who will win this family battle. Prem says the host has no other work except creating family relationships.
Anupama says it is a reality show so the host has to add some spice. Mahi says this is also part of his job.
The Challenge Begins
The host announces another twist. Once the judges reveal the dish names the team members cannot ask their captains anything about the ingredients or recipe.
The captain must prepare the dish while the selected members decide what ingredients to bring from the pantry. The judges reveal the dishes.
Prem’s team receives their dish. Anupama’s team gets Risotto. Anupama says she has never made Risotto before. Prerna tells her that Kinjal knows which ingredients are needed.
Anupama Faces New Trouble
Prem taunts Anupama and says people who only make khichdi cannot prepare Risotto. Manpreet asks Anupama if she has ever cooked Risotto.
Anupama struggles to pronounce the name correctly. Manpreet says if she cannot even pronounce the name properly how will she cook it?
Sikandar says that maybe she cannot pronounce it but if she has talent she can still make a tasty dish.
Prem Mocks Anupama
Roy asks Prem if despite being an expert in international cuisine he will be able to cook Indian dishes as well.
Prem replies that a chef must know every dish. He indirectly taunts Anupama saying that it is important not only to know how to cook a dish but also how to pronounce its name correctly. Anupama is left shocked.
Precap: Anupama asks kinjal where the cheese is. Kinjal says she picked it up but Shruti snatched it from her. Prerna worries and asks how they will make Risotto without cheese.
Later Prem presents his dish. judges loves it. Anupama then presents her dish. Manpreet Dislikes Her Presentation. Anupama becomes worried.
