Today’s episode begins with Mahid going to Fareed’s cabin. Fareed tells Mahid he has once again reached the same point where he sits quietly and keeps thinking without sharing anything.
Mahid recalls the incident at the Dargah. Fareed asks what triggered the panic attack he had the previous day. He asks if he met someone or if someone said something to him.
Fareed Questions Mahid
Mahid says he was at the Dargah where many Maulanas were sitting and praying with prayer beads. Suddenly he screamed and started breaking everyone’s prayer beads.
Fareed says such a strong reaction happens because of a very powerful emotion. He points out that Mahid had not suffered a panic attack like this for many years.
He says Mahid usually controls his emotions so he wants to know what happened this time. Mahid says if he had been in his senses he would have known why he acted that way.
Mahid Hides the Real Reason form Fareed
He thinks seeing so many prayer beads made him lose control. Fareed says breaking the prayer beads was only a reaction. The real reason was something else.
Mahid says he does not know why he lost control. Fareed says him earlier his panic attacks were caused by the memories of his mother Gazala’s death. But now Mahid himself says those memories no longer affect him that much.
Fareed says if Mahid does not tell him what is going on in his mind then how can he treat him?. Mahid thinks about Seher but tells Fareed that he does not know the reason.
Seher Tries to Hear Their Conversation
Outside Seher keeps thinking about Mahid. She wonders what is going on in his mind. She thinks Fareed is trying to convince Mahid.
She quietly stands near the door and tries to listen to their conversation.Just then Fareed opens the door and finds Seher standing there. Seher quickly says that she has an appointment at that time.
Fareed tells her that the appointment will have to wait because Mahid’s session is taking longer than expected. Seher and Mahid look at each other and Fareed notices their expressions.
Fareed Warns Mahid
Fareed tells Mahid that he understands better than anyone how serious yesterday’s incident was. He reminds him that he is no longer an ordinary man. He is the Mufti of the city and such public breakdowns can damage his image.
Fareed asks him what he is planning to do.
Mahid says Fareed is right but he should not worry because he has found a way to solve everything. Fareed asks what that solution is. Mahid says he is still thinking about it and will find the answer soon. He says he is sure he will convince that person somehow.
He say she (seher) thinks she has a heart of iron but he believes even iron melts one day. Fareed asks if he is talking about someone he wants to convince. Mahid says he has no right to ask Insha for help. Fareed asks who he is talking about then.
Fareed Connects Seher to Mahid’s Panic Attack
Mahid says he should not have mentioned it and refuses to say anything else. Fareed guesses he is talking about Seher. Mahid asks why Fareed thinks that. Fareed says it is only a guess. Mahid tells him to stop making guesses.
He says Seher has nothing to do with what happened. Whether she stays unconscious or conscious it makes no difference to him.
He says he is not foolish enough to lose control because of Seher. Mahid leaves.
Fareed thinks that for the last seven years Mahid never told him the real reason behind his restlessness, and now he finally understands why.
Seher Gives Mahid a Task
Seher tells Mahid not to misunderstand her. She says she was not trying to overhear their conversation because she enjoys listening to stories.
She asks him to send new balloons for the patient whose balloon he burst. She says the patient’s granddaughter had brought those balloons with love. Mahid asks if there is anything else he can do.
Just then Seher receives a call from Fareed asking her to come to his cabin. Mahid wonders where he will now find new balloons for the little girl.
Fareed Gives Seher Mahid’s Case
Seher enters Fareed’s cabin. Fareed tells her that he has a case which only she can handle. He hands her Mahid’s file. He says he wants her to help treat Mahid.
Seher says Mahid must have told him because she refused to help him. Fareed says that has nothing to do with Mahid. He says her Mahid never asked him to do this.
Fareed says when Mahid first came to him years ago they believed his panic attacks were caused by his mother’s death. But even after seven years the attacks continued and he could never find the real reason. Yesterday he finally got a major breakthrough.
Fareed Shocks Seher
Fareed tells Seher she is the reason behind Mahid’s panic attacks. Seher is shocked. He says whatever happened between them is still affecting Mahid deeply.
He tried many times to make Mahid talk but Mahid never opened up. He says Mahid may share his feelings with Seher.
Fareed says they only need to find the real reason behind Mahid’s panic attacks so they can help him. He says helping Mahid may also bring peace to Seher’s heart.
Seher Refuses to Help
Seher says she is not looking for peace and does not want to help anyone. She says the wounds she received seven years ago are still fresh and she does not want to reopen them.
She asks Fareed to keep her away from Mahid. Fareed says her she herself had said they should keep things professional. He says treating Mahid is her duty because she is a doctor and Mahid is her patient.
Seher says she is also a human being. She says seven years ago she suffered just as much as Mahid did. She does not want to remember those painful memories or have any relationship with Mahid.
Fareed Drops a Bombshell on Seher
Fareed says the situation is such that she will have to treat Mahid. He reminds her that after Zeba removed her from the hospital the Medical Board reviewed her termination report including the action taken in Qias’s case.
He says she now has only one month left to prove herself. If she successfully treats Mahid everyone will know that she is an excellent doctor. But if she refuses the case she may never be able to use the title Doctor again because her medical license could be cancelled.
Seher says she can prove her abilities by treating any other patient. Why does it have to be Mahid?
Fareed Reminds Seher of Her Duty
Fareed tells her she told Zeba that nothing is more important for a doctor than saving a patient’s life. He asks why those words cannot apply to Mahid.
He says Seher of the oath she took to treat every patient who needs help. He says Mahid needs her now.
Husna Plans to Use Nazima
Meanwhile Nazima is picking up broken pieces of glass. Husna asks what happened. Nazima says Khalid came there and threatened her. He said he would turn Mahid against her and make sure Mahid throws her out of the house.
Husna asks why she is so scared of Khalid. Nazima says she only wants to tell Mahid everything. She worries Mahid may not believe her whatever she has already done.
Nazima says Khalid is right. Not only she but even her fate is trapped in slavery. Husna says one mistake does not mean she should make her entire life miserable. She reminds Nazima that Mahid himself allowed her to stay in the house.
Nazima says she will never forget her kindness. Husna thinks that Nazima will be very useful for her plans.
Mahid Lies to the Maulana
Later Mahid checks some papers and tells the Maulana that he will make the remaining payment soon. The Maulana asks when Seher will return home.
He says Mahid he had said their engagement was going to happen and asks if the date has been fixed. Mahid says the talks are still going on. He says Seher wants everything to be grand and exactly the way she likes it so it will take some time.
He makes excuses by saying Seher has also made a condition that he must lose weight so he can fit into the outfit she has chosen for him. The Maulana leaves.
Mahid thinks to himself that everyone believes his story but Seher is standing on one side while he is standing on the other.
He wonders how he will get out of this difficult situation.
Precap: Seher puts a ring on Mahid’s finger and proposes to him. She tells Mahid that she loves him deeply. Mahid is completely shocked.
