Acclaimed Bollywood actor Richa Chadha celebrated Onam in a truly unique and meaningful way by visiting the Gurupuram Sree Maha Vishnu Temple in Kerala alongside her daughter, Zuneyra. Dressed in traditional South Indian attire—with Richa in a classic white-and-gold saree and Zuneyra wearing a matching custom Onam dress—the duo witnessed the unveiling of the three-meter-tall, 500-kilogram mechanical elephant created in collaboration with PETA India. The innovative robotic elephant realistically replicates movements like lifting its trunk, swishing its ears, and spraying water, providing a safe, tech-enabled, and humane alternative to using real captive elephants during traditional rituals.
