Today’s episode begins with Vikrant receiving a call from Ankit. Ankit changes his voice and tricks Vikrant by pretending to be a police officer. He tells Vikrant Dhariya has escaped from the police station and was killed in an encounter. Vikrant is shocked to hear this.
Ankit asks him to come immediately to complete the remaining formalities. He tells Vikrant to reach Vardan Factory. Ankit thinks the road from Vardan Factory leads towards Rajvansh house. He wants Vikrant to take that road so everything will be recorded on CCTV camera. During the investigation when the police will check the footage and Vikrant will get into serious trouble.
Vikrant Hides the Truth
Vikrant decides to inform Mannat and Ronnie about the situation. However he sees the children are happy and excited. Bunty and Yuvi challenge Vikrant to a ladoo-eating competition.
Mannat tells Dua that she has to come first as she always did in college. Mallika jokes that Mannat was known as Ladoo in college because she loved ladoos.Vikrant thinks this is not the right time to tell Dua about Dhariya. He decides to talk to Mannat later and then they will decide how to share the news with Dua.
Vikrant leaves and sends Mannat a message saying he has some bad news. He did not want to scare Dua so he left without discussing the matter with her. He asks Mannat to call him when the children are not around. As Vikrant’s car leaves Ankit follows him.
Mannat Encourages Dua
Yuvi and Bunty encourage Dua to take part in the competition but Dua walks away sadly. Mannat tries to comfort her and asks what happened. Dua says she and Dhariya used to this this competition together.
Mannat thinks she will never forgive Dhariya for the pain he has caused Dua. Mannat asks Dua what they learn from Ganpati Visarjan. She explains nothing in life is permanent whether it is happiness, pain or sorrow. She says when they immerse Ganpati they pray to God to take away all the pain and sorrow from their lives.
They should remember this lesson and try to remain happy and welcome happiness into their lives. Mannat says she understands the pain Dua is feeling. Forgetting everything and moving forward is very difficult but Dua has to do it. She needs to move forward in life and smile again.
Mannat says its was someone else fault not Dua and the person responsible has already been punished. She then says there is one thing that can bring happiness to everyone ice cream. Dua finally smiles.
Vikrant Falls Into Ankit’s Trap
Meanwhile Vikrant reaches Vardan Factory. He is surprised. He thinks that there is no police officer, Dhariya is nowhere to be seen and there is no sign of any encounter. Ankit thinks Vikrant is such a successful businessman yet he is an emotional fool.
He has come running after hearing the false news about his brother’s death and has fallen into Ankit’s trap. Vikrant calls the police station and asks about Dhariya. The inspector tells him Dhariya is in the lockup and has already confessed.Vikrant realises someone has trapped him.
Mannat calls him and asks where he is. Vikrant decides not to tell her about the fake call just yet. He thinks it would be better to get the number traced the next morning and then discuss the matter with Mannat.
Ankit Plants Evidence Against Vikrant
Vikrant asks Mannat if everything is fine at home. She asks him why he is asking such questions and wonders whether something has happened. Mannat asks if Vikrant is hiding something from her.
Vikrant says Ankit is still moving around freely so he has to remain alert. He tells Mannat not to leave the house until he returns. Meanwhile At rajvansh house Ankit picks up the knife lying near Manyata’s body and plants Vikrant’s fingerprints on it.
He says he will arrange all the evidence in such a way everyone will believe Vikrant killed Manyata and then ran away. Ankit also cleans the door and leaves Vikrant’s fingerprints on it to make the evidence look convincing. He says Vikrant’s countdown has now begun.
Mannat Worries About Dua
Meanwhile Mannat is arranging the clothes that have arrived from the laundry. She is about to see the shirt with bloodstains but her attention shifts to Vikrant as he enters the room. She puts all the clothes inside the cupboard without checking them.
Mannat asks Vikrant why he did not tell her he was going to Mezbani. She says she could have finished her pending work as well. Vikrant thinks if he should tell Mannat about the prank call. However Mannat asks him what happened and if he is thinking about Dua. She says she feels they should take Dua to the Gurudwara.
Mannat says when someone close betrays us in a relationship it takes time to recover from the pain. Dua may not show it but she is broken inside. She says Bunty and Yuvi are trying their best to keep Dua happy. Vikrant tells Mannat she has always taken care of everyone and he believes she will take care of their daughter too.
Ankit Leaves Vikrant’s Footprints
Meanwhile Ankit deliberately leaves Vikrant’s shoeprints on the floor. He wants the police to believe Vikrant was present at the scene.
Ankit says the maid will arrive soon discover Manyata’s body scream in shock and call the police. He thinks the final stage of Vikrant’s destruction has begun.
Vikrant Grows Suspicious
Mannat and Vikrant share a hug when Bunty and Yuvi arrive with their eyes covered by their hands. They says they do not want to see their secret move so they have covered their eyes with hand. Vikrant asks if they have left Dua alone.
He says that he will go and see her. Bunty says Dua is upset and wants to speak only to Mannat. Vikrant feels something is wrong as of the way the children are behaving. Bunty and Yuvi try to stop him. They push him onto the bed and insist he tell them a story.
They say Mannat will take care of Dua and that they will not let him leave. Mannat says she will go and check on Dua herself. Bunty and Yuvi continue insisting that Vikrant tell them a story. Vikrant finds their behaviour strange but agrees to tell them a funny story.
Ankit’s Plan Begins to Work
Meanwhile the maid arrives at the Rajvansh house. She notices the main door is open and sees footprints on the floor. She becomes worried and rushes towards Manyata’s room.
The maid is shocked to find Manyata lying dead in a pool of blood. She decides to inform the watchman so that he can call the police. Ankit secretly watches everything and thinks his plan is working exactly as he wanted.
Dua Plans a Birthday Surprise for Vikrant
Mannat asks Dua why she told Bunty that Vikrant could not come to see her. She says Vikrant is worried about Dua. Mannat notices Dua’s painting. Dua reveals she is planning a surprise for Vikrant’s birthday.
Mannat is surprised Dua was feeling so sad but still remembered Vikrant’s birthday. Dua says she had already given her and Vikrant enough tension because of Dhariya. Now she wants to make him happy. She says she has planned a birthday surprise for Vikrant.
She sent Yuvi and Bunty away so they could keep Vikrant busy and stop him from coming to her. Dua asks Mannat to help her with the surprise. Mannat tells Dua she is the best daughter.
Mannat Helps Dua Move Forward
Mannat says she was also sad when she learned the truth about Aishwarya. However she later thought about why she should keep thinking about bad people who create problems in her life. Instead she decided to focus on the good people who love and care for her such as Shruti.
Mannat says she has decided never to think about Aishwarya again and never to cry for her.
She says Dua she has a big family that loves her. Dua says she is very lucky to have such a loving family. She also says Vikrant is the best.
The Police Investigate Manyata’s Murder
Meanwhile the police arrive at the Rajvansh house. The inspector questions the maid and asks if she suspects anyone. He tells her to share everything she knows.
The maid tells she came to work as usual but the main door was already open when she arrived. She became worried about Manyata and rushed inside. When she entered the room she found Manyata lying in a pool of blood.
The forensic team begins collecting evidence from the crime scene. They collect the murder weapon, a knife and the fingerprints found on it. They also find a button and say it may belong to a man who visited the house.
Ankit Plans to Destroy Vikrant
Ankit thinks once the maid tells the police about Manyata’s past and mentions Vikrant’s name the police will begin suspecting him.
He believes all the evidence is against Vikrant and the police will also think Vikrant had a motive to kill Manyata. Ankit is thinks his plan will succeed and that Vikrant will be blamed for the murder.
Precap: The police arrive and arrest Vikrant. The inspector tells the family Vikrant’s fingerprints have been found on the weapon used to kill Manyata. He announces they have come to arrest Vikrant in Manyata’s murder case. Mannat is shocked to hear the accusation against Vikrant.
