Today’s episode begins with Dua asking Vikrant to never leave her. Vikrant says there is no question of him ever leaving her. Mallika says it is time to cut the cake. She says they worked so hard to make the cake she feels they should keep it in a frame without cutting it like a showpiece.
Bunty tells Vikrant they worked hard all night to decorate the hall and prepare the cake together. Vikrant thanks them. He cuts the cake and feeds it to everyone. He playfully applies cake to Dua’s face and they share a fun moment. The family is happy to see them together.
Mannat also joins them and saves Dua. Vikrant feeds cake to Dua and the whole family enjoys his birthday celebration.
Vikrant Wants Dua to Forgive Dhariya
Vikrant sees Dua happily taking pictures and tells Mannat he finds peace in seeing Dua happy. He says they should meet Dhariya whatever happened Dhariya has changed. Mannat says that Vikrant is still concerned about Dhariya.
Vikrant says he is thinking about Dua. It is important for Dua to recover from her pain as soon as possible. He says accepting the pain and moving forward is important and Dua needs to forgive Dhariya.
Mannat refuses. She says Aishwarya has been punished for her actions and Dhariya should also be punished for what he did. She says whatever Aishwarya did to her Dhariya did the same thing to Dua.
Dhariya Regrets His Mistakes
Meanwhile in the lockup Dhariya wonders he is not really a bad person he has simply chosen the wrong path. He says this happens when a person becomes selfish. Vikrant gave him respect and love but in return he did things that he is now ashamed of.
He says if he gets even one chance in this life to repent and correct his mistakes he is ready to do it a hundred times. He says he is ready to correct his mistakes just to see a smile on Vikrant and Dua’s faces. Dhariya admits he messed up and did wrong to Dua. He hopes Dua never hates him.
He says everyone makes mistakes at some point in life but what matters is returning to the right path and realising one’s own mistakes.
The Police Arrive at the Saluja House
Meanwhile at the Saluja house Ronnie says he is thinking of going on a vacation with the family. He says they have gone through a difficult time and everyone deserves a break.
The children get excited. Mannat asks where they will go. Ronnie suggests they go somewhere in the mountains. Just then the inspector arrives with his team. He asks where they are planning to escape and tells his team to remain alert so no one from the family can run away. Everyone is shocked.
Vikrant Is Accused of Manyata’s Murder
Ronnie asks the inspector what he is saying. Inspector says after committing a crime the culprit often tries to run away. He then announces Vikrant is under arrest. The entire family is stunned.
The inspector asks his team to search the house. Vikrant asks what he is talking about he cannot understand anything. Inspector says they have a warrant and have come to arrest him in Manyata’s murder case. The whole family is shocked. Mannat says the inspector is mistaken as Vikrant cannot hurt anyone.
She asks why he suspects them every time and why he does not question the Rajvansh family. She says they are trying to trap them again. Dua, Ronnie and Bunty stand up for Vikrant. They say he has done nothing wrong and they cannot take him away.
Mannat Stands by Vikrant
Vikrant says he did not even know Manyata had died. He says he was with his family the whole time and did not commit the crime. He says he is learning about Manyata’s death from Inspector. Ronnie supports Vikrant and says he is telling the truth.
However inspector says the evidence tells a different story. He says they found Vikrant’s fingerprints at the crime scene. The weapon used to kill Manyata also has Vikrant’s fingerprints. He adds they are searching the house to match a button found near Manyata’s body. Mannat says it is an ordinary button and could belong to anyone.
Vikrant tells Mannat he has done nothing wrong so she should let the police do their work. The inspector asks the family to cooperate with his team during the investigation. He tells his team to search every room carefully. The constables begin searching Mannat and Vikrant’s room.
Dhariya Senses Trouble
Meanwhile Dhariya wonders why he has been feeling restless since morning. He feels something bad is about to happen. He says he is missing Dua and Vikrant and wonders if something has gone wrong.
He asks a constable to let him speak to a child because he is feeling restless. The constable tells him it is better for him to stay away from child. Dhariya wonders what he should do because he has a strange feeling of fear.
The Police Find a Bloodstained Shirt
Vikrant tells the inspector Manyata was not in a good mental state. He says while trying to fulfil her unjust demands they were triggering her trauma. He adds he had seen her try to kill herself several times in front of his eyes.
Vikrant says if he had wanted to do something to Manyata he would have done it when they falsely accused him in another case. The inspector says the search will reveal if Vikrant is truly innocent or is trying to hide his crime.
The constable searches the cupboard and finds a shirt with bloodstains. Mannat is in disbelief. She says the shirt does not belong to Vikrant and she does not know how it got there.
Vikrant Is Taken In Custod
The constable shows the shirt to the inspector. He points out the bloodstains and says a button is also missing from it. Vikrant asks where they found the shirt. Mannat asks if he knows anything about it. Vikrant says he does. Manyata had gifted him that shirt.
The inspector orders his team to arrest Vikrant. Mannat objects but the inspector tells her to let him do his job. Vikrant remembers the prank call he received earlier. The inspector puts handcuffs on Vikrant. Vikrant asks Mannat and Ronnie to take care of the children. The inspector then takes Vikrant away.
Vikrant Reveals the Prank Call
Later at the police station Mannat tells Vikrant he cannot get bail because it is a non-bailable offence. Vikrant tells the ACP about the prank call. He says the caller told him Dhariya had escaped from jail and he had been killed in an encounter.
Vikrant says he went there but there was nothing. Neither Dhariya nor his body was there. He then called the police station and learned that Dhariya was still in jail. The inspector asks Vikrant to give him the number from which he received the prank call.
The inspector says that the number is not reachable. The ACP asks Vikrant if anyone can confirm what he is saying. Vikrant says no. He explains that Dua seemed happy so he thought he should go and handle things alone.
He says what Dhariya and Ankit did to him traumatised his family so he did not tell them anything.
Ankit Accuses Vikrant
Ankit says Vikrant is lying. He says he has already given the police proof he was not in the city on the day Dua was kidnapped. He accuses Vikrant of blaming him to hide his own crime. Vikrant says he does not know anything about it.
The ACP asks if Vikrant has any witness who can prove he was not at the Rajvansh house when Manyata was murdered. Mannat says they have the phone number and asks the police to trace it. She says once they find out who made the prank call they will discover who is behind everything and who is trying to trap Vikrant.
She says someone is doing all this to frame Vikrant in Manyata’s murder case. Ankit says Mannat is lying and trying to mislead the police. He thinks even if the police trace the number they will not be able to reach the person behind the call.
Mannat Vows to Prove Vikrant’s Innocence
Mannat says this time things will not be like last time. She will make sure Vikrant is honourably acquitted. She tells Vikrant he should be a shield and not let anyone use Manyata’s death to take revenge on him.
She says she is not ready to see an innocent person suffer. She says her mother was also like this and Dhariya was the same. Mannat believes truth always wins and the truth is on their side.
Precap: Mannat confronts Samragi and says she knows Samragi is behind everything. She accuses her of doing all this to trap Vikrant. Samragi says Mannat is right. She wants Vikrant to suffer in jail for something he never even did. Mannat is shocked by Samragi’s confession.
