Today’s episode begins with Mahid walking restlessly. Seher notices him and asks if he is thinking about something. Mahid agrees to let Seher participate in the investigation into Kausar’s death and asks her to accompany him to meet Hussain’s wife.
Seher hugs him and thanks him. Mahid asks her to change her dress and get ready. Seher asks him to wait and says he should not change their decision.
Tahir and Nazima Search Insha’s Room
Meanwhile, Tahir asks Nazima what they are looking for in Insha’s room.Nazima says they need to find something can help them discover what is going on between Insha and Haider. She asks Tahir to help her.
At that moment Insha walks towards her room. Nazima hears her footsteps and Insha opens the door. She is surprised to see them in her room and asks what they are doing there. Tahir lie Insha had said she needed a study table for Qiaz so he came to take measurements of the space.
Insha points out he does not even have a measuring tape. Tahir says he thought he would secretly take the measurements and surprise her. They then leave the room. Insha wonders why they came into her room if they only wanted to take measurements. She suspects they might have started doubting her.
Zaid Meets Mahid
Meanwhile Asad and Zaid arrive. Zaid panics when he sees Mahid and hands the packet of cigarettes to Asad. Mahid notices this. Asad introduces Zaid to him and says Mahid is his brother-in-law he and Seher have recently married.
Zaid is shocked as he realizes he is Mahid Niyazi his brother. Mahid says Asad he does not seem happy while greeting him. He asks what him is keeping in his pocket but Asad lies to him. Zaid questions Mahid about how he can search someone like. He argues with Mahid.
Mahid says Zaid does not seem to belong to a family where traditions are given importance. He says this is why he finds his words and behaviour interfering. Mahid says Asad is like his younger brother and it is both his duty and his right to guide him towards the right path.
Zaid and Mahid Clash
Zaid asks what Mahid knows about being an younger brother. He says people like Mahid use the excuse of duty to control others. Mahid says if he has to give orders to guide someone towards the right path he will do so.
Seher arrives asks if Zaid is Mahid’s friend. Mahid says he is not really a friend but someone who lives nearby and is known to them. He asks Seher to bring water for Zaid
Mahid then tells Asad he saw him putting something into his pocket earlier. He asks Asad to take it out and throw it away. Mahid also says he does not want Asad to be seen with Zaid again. He does not want Seher’s heart to break when she learns the truth about it. Zaid leaves in anger.
Mahid and Seher Reach Hussain’s Wife
Meanwhile goons threaten Hussain’s wife. When the doorbell rings they warn her not to do anything clever. She opens the door and is shocked to see Seher.
She asks Seher what she is doing there she says she doesn’t want yo talk to her.Mahid says he wants to talk to her. He tells her the sooner she answers his questions the sooner he will leave. Mahid asks why Husna sends her money. Seher notices a burning smell and asks about it.
Hussain’s wife goes to check which makes Seher suspicious. Meanwhile Mahid sees the goons with Hussain’s daughter. He asks Seher why the man she had sent to follow him is there. Seher says she has not sent anyone to follow Mahid.
Mahid Discovers Husna’s Trap
Mahid is shocked as he realizes Husna must have discovered their plan. He understands she sent the man to follow Seher because she knew what they were planning.
Mahid realizes the man being inside the house means he is threatening Hussain’s wife. Seher asks Hussain’s daughter if she is reading the table she can help her understand it. Mahid stops Seher and warns her the man is dangerous.
As Mahid approaches the goons threaten him and warn him not to come closer. he say he will not spare the child if he does. Hussain’s wife attacks Mahid giving the goons a chance to escape. Mahid explains to her he is not a threat to her the goons are. The goons manage to flee while Mahid saves the child.
Husna Manipulates Zaid
Meanwhile Husna meets Zaid and tries to manipulate him. She tells him his anger is justified because his family took away his mother’s happiness and gave his share of happiness to Mahid. Husna says she cannot change the injustice done to him but she can give him the love he deserves.
She gives him a laptop and says she knows he is a self-respecting man but this is not charity it is his right. She tells him he belongs to the Niyazi family and sheds fake tears. Zaid says he never intended to maintain any relationship with the Niyazi family but now he is considering ruining Mahid.
He asks Husna what she had come to tell him that night. Husna thinks she expected to flatter Zaid to win him but he has agreed very easily. She hopes his anger will keep growing until her work is done. Husna tells Zaid she has an excellent plan to help him get his rights.
Hussain’s Wife Reveals the Truth
Hussain’s wife asks Mahid and Seher to leave. Mahid says if needed he will even take her to court. He asks her if she thinks she can keep supporting a criminal and he will remain silent. She says she only cares about protecting her daughter.
Seher says her mother was also like this and she understands her feelings. She asks Hussain’s wife if she does not think she should take the help of an honest person to protect her daughter.Seher says by trusting criminals she is putting her daughter’s life in danger. She says such people have no principles.
Mahid assures Hussain’s wife she can trust him and promises to protect her. He asks her to tell them whatever she knows about Kausar’s death. Hussain’s wife confirms Hussain was the one who killed Kausar. However she says he did not kill her because of society he did it because of money.
Seher is shaken by this revelation.Mahid asks if Husna gave him money. She says she does not know. However she reveals Hussain had some evidence aganist that which is why the goons often came to her house. She also says she has an object Hussain had asked her to keep safe.
Husna Plans to Against Mahid
Meanwhile Shehbaz is with people from another religious communityand they are planning to stop Mahid. Husna arrives with Zaid and says she has a trick to stop Mahid. She introduces Zaid to them and explains he is the son of Adnan’s first wife Rukhsar.
Husna says when Gazala married into the family Rukhsar was thrown out of the house. She tells them Zaid is the solution to their problems. She says the Niyazi family has been the city’s Mufti for the last five generations. Society will not accept anyone other than Mahid as its leader.
However if another member of the Niyazi family is presented in Mahid’s place removing Mahid from his position will become easier. One of the Maulanas asks if Husna is suggesting Zaid should become the Mufti.He looks at Zaid and comments on his appearance.
Everyone laughs at Zaid making him furious. Shehbaz says Husna is not in a position to interfere in this matter. Zaid walks away. Husna challenges them saying if they have a better plan they should tell her. Otherwise she will believe that no man among them is intelligent enough to come up with one.
Mahid and Seher Get a Major Lead
Hussain’s wife gives Seher a broken cupboard handle. She says Hussain had told her as long as she kept it safe she would remain protected and would continue receiving money every month.
She says if nothing wrong had happened to her a man would come to her house to collect this handle and bring the evidence before everyone. Mahid says they need to find the cupboard connected to the handle.
Precap: Husna says she will trap Mahid in such a clever plan that he will have no chance of winning. A servant informs Mahid Husna has called the police. The police ask Mahid if he accepts he is involved in jeweller Imran’s disappearance.
They tell him his fingerprints have been found at Imran’s shop during the investigation. Seher and Mahid are shocked by the accusation.
