Today’s episode begins with Vidya asking Kajal if she is really not upset about all of them attending Tanya’s wedding. Kajal says that Tanya has already decided to get married so there is no point in getting upset with her. Kaveri tells everyone to go to the wedding while she stays at home with Kajal. She says she would not be able to bear seeing Tanya become the Damani family’s daughter-in-law. Manisha tells Vidya to wear her jewellery.
Vidya says that she will wear her own jewellery set. Manisha says they cannot lower the family’s status like this. She adds Abhira is also wearing her jewellery and says her jewellery they have is outdated.
Vidya feels bad and says she is happy with whatever she has.
Tanya’s Byahhaath Ritual
Meanwhile Nandini gives Tanya a saree and jewellery as part of the Byahhaath ritual. She explains this is a ritual in which the groom’s family gives items to the bride’s family. During this ritual women make mangodiya.
Tanya asks who will perform this ritual on her behalf. Kabeer arrives there with a cold and starts sneezing. Nandini asks him what has happened to him and tells him to go to his room. She says she will bring him some kadha.
Tanya thinks Kabeer is still unable to move on from Maira.
Manisha Apologises to Vidya
Manisha apologises to Vidya. Meanwhile Armaan and Abhira say they need to talk to each other. Kajal asks if everything is fine and wonders why both of them look worried.
Tanya Calls Abhira
Abhira receives a call from Tanya. Tanya tells her Nandini said they have to perform a ritual the next day. Abhira tells Tanya she and Nandini had already discussed this the previous day and asks her to come home in the morning for the ritual.
Tanya asks if the other family members will be upset by her arrival. Abhira tells her not to worry ad everyone is preparing for the ritual with her. Tanya says Abhira does so much for herbut never lets her say thank you. She adds she can at least thank Nandini.
Nandini says Tanya cannot thank her either because she is part of her family and is very important to her. Nandini says Tanya needs to move on and forget the problems between Kabeer and Maira. She says both families should move forward.
Armaan and Abhira Worry About Maira
Meanwhile Armaan and Abhira discuss Maira’s sadness. Abhira asks why Armaan feels that Maira is sad. Armaan says these days Maira’s smile does not reach her eyes. He says she eats so much ice cream she could get brain freeze.
she adds even during the makeover session she was sitting quietly. Earlier she used to gossip with Mukti for hours. Armaan says he has seen Maira’s sketchbooks and paintings and her drawings are becoming sadder. Abhira says when someone’s heart breaks for the first time the colours of life seem to disappear.
Armaan says he is going to talk to Maira. Abhira asks what he will say to her. She explains if they talk to Maira she may start giving them fake smiles again just to keep them happy. Armaan says they must be able to do something for her.
Abhira asks him to wait and have hope. She says when someone’s heart is broken they have to help them find happiness but sometimes no one else can help them with their pain. Armaan and Abhira go to Maira’s room and notice she is sleeping. They cover her with a blanket and sit beside her.
Kaveri Warns Krish and Sanjay
Later the family prepares for Tanya’s ritual. Kaveri calls Krish and Sanjay. She says Tanya will be coming for the Byahhaath ritual and she wants the ceremony to happen peacefully. She says there should be no taunts tension or drama.
Sanjay says he has no interest in watching Tanya’s ritual. Krish tells Kajal to come inside as well. Armaan asks why Kajal should leave. Abhira says Kajal can decide for herself if she wants to attend the ritual. Kajal says she does not want to attend Tanya’s ritual. However since everyone is busy preparing for ritual she also have to help them.
Krish and Sanjay walk away angrily. Abhira tells Armaan that he cannot always understand what is happening in everyone’s mind. She says that Kajal has no problem with Tanya’s wedding and that she was the one who told them to attend it.
Tanya Arrives at the Poddar House
Tanya arrives and Abhira asks her to come inside. Tanya says she feels strange because she came to this house as a daughter-in-law. Armaan asks her to come inside and Abhira says she understands her confusion.
Armaan tells Tanya this is her home too. Abhira asks everyone to begin the ritual. Maira asks Kaveri to explain the ritual to her. Kaveri says the Byahhaath ritual marks the beginning of the wedding ceremonies. She explains family members, relatives and neighbours help prepare the food.
Kajal says the generations may have changed but people still make mandodiya with love and care. Kaveri explains a traditional sweet dish made from jaggery was prepared for this ritual. She says the mandodiya is carefully preserved and sent to the bride’s in-laws as a symbol of blessings.
Kajal adds auspicious wedding songs are also sung during this ritual. Maira asks Kaveri to sing one of the songs. Abhira performs the ritual.
The Damanis Also Perform the Ritual
Meanwhile the same ritual is performed at the Damani house. Kabeer tries to hide his pain. Maira dances during the ritual while Abhira and Armaan notice the sadness she is hiding.
Kabeer Struggles to Hide His Pain
Later Raghav tells Bhairavi the house has become lively after Barkha’s arrival but Samar does not look happy. Bhairavi wonders what Tanya might have said to Neena made her allow Barkha to come there.
Samar asks Kabeer to take his photograph. Kabeer refuses but Samar insists. When Kabeer looks at the camera he remembers Maira.
Armaan Wants to Talk to Maira
Armaan tells Abhira he cannot bear to see Maira like this. Abhira says Maira is not ready to talk yet. She says seeing Maira in pain is breaking her heart too but asking her questions will only increase her pain.
She explains they need to give Maira some time. Armaan says he still wants to talk to her. Meanwhile Vidya asks Maira to look at what else they do during the ritual. Armaan does not get a chance to talk to Maira.
Precap:- Maira and Kabeer cross paths. Both are angry with each other but they silently care for one another. They both catch a cold. Although they do not talk to each other they continue to care for one another secretly.
Meanwhile Armaan tells Abhira that Maira is coming back to them. He says that Maira is forgetting Kabeer.
