Star Plus iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is all set to enter a crucial new chapter with its latest leap bringing intense emotions and major twists to the forefront. Actor Amar Upadhyay who has immortalised the character of Mihir Virani has spoken about how demanding this phase has been for him as an actor.
Opening up about the leap Amar admitted that the storyline came as an unexpected turn and required him to tap into deeper emotional layers. He shared that portraying Mihir during this phase has been particularly challenging as the character once again finds himself breaking Tulsi’s trust something that weighs heavily on him.
Amar explained that what makes this track especially painful is the irony of Mihir becoming the cause of heartbreak for Tulsi who loves him with unwavering sincerity. This emotional contradiction he said adds complexity to the character and makes the journey even more intense to portray on screen.
One of the most striking moments post-leap is Mihir’s return to Shantiniketan which no longer carries the warmth it once did. Amar described walking into the empty house as an emotionally stirring experience noting that the silence and absence of family made the moment far more powerful than words ever could. For him Shantiniketan symbolised years of love relationships and memories now left behind.
He further added that Mihir’s struggle with guilt and the consequences of his actions forms the emotional backbone of the new storyline making it relatable and impactful for audiences.
