Today’s episode begins with Vikrant revealing to Vishakha about his and Mannat’s secret marriage. Hearing this shocking truth not only Vishakha but also Mallika and Aishwarya are stunned. Vishakha asks Vikrant when all this happened. Vikrant explains that the day he truly felt that he and Mannat were one he married her. Although their wedding rituals were not performed in front of the world but their marriage is complete. As her husband he believes it is his responsibility to stand by Mannat in this difficult time and no one can stop him from doing so.
Vishakha says she never knew about their marriage and says that if Mannat is his wife she is also the daughter-in-law of this house and as a mother she must stand with her. She decides to accompany him. Vikrant leaves from there.
Mallika Blames Aishwarya
Soon after Mallika bursts into anger and starts shouting at Aishwarya. She says that despite all their efforts they lost and Mannat won. Mallika blames Aishwarya for everything saying she should have understood that Vikrant would never leave Mannat alone in such a situation. She is furious that Vikrant has gone back to Mannat and according to Mallika that means they have lost.
Meanwhile Mannat is completely shattered. She is crying for Shruti and desperately waiting for Vikrant to arrive. She asks Dhariya if he didn’t bring Vikrant along. Dhariya tells her that all preparations are done she still want to wait for Vikrant. Mannat refuses saying Shruti must have definitely waited for Vikrant but maybe for Vikrant Shruti meant nothing.
Gagan arrives and comforts her hugging Mannat while trying to console her. Mannat also asks him whether Vikrant has come. Gagan sadly says no. Losing hope completely Mannat asks everyone to proceed with the final rituals.
On the other hand Vikrant asks the driver to drive faster wondering how everything changed so suddenly. He looks at Shruti’s gift and gets emotional thinking about her. Meanwhile Vishakha worries that if Mannat and Vikrant unite fully today separating them will become impossible. She messages Aishwarya in panic saying she doesn’t understand how to stop Vikrant from reaching Mannat and asks for help.
Shruti’s Final Goodbye Mannat Breaks Down
Shruti’s last rites begin. The priest asks who will perform Shruti’s final ritual. Gagan tells Mannat to step forward and do it. Mannat stands silent for a moment still thinking about Vikrant realizing he won’t come.
Standing beside her mother Mannat remembers every moment with her. With tears in her eyes she performs Shruti’s final rites. Speaking to her mother for the last time Mannat says Shruti never failed in her duties and was the best mother in the world. She questions why when God takes away a mother He doesn’t give anyone to share such unbearable pain with. She says no one should have to bear such grief alone.
Mannat promises that just like Shruti always stood by her she will always stand for her own child. She vows to become the world’s best mother just like Shruti. Even though Shruti will never meet her grandchild Mannat promises she will always tell her child what an amazing grandmother she had. She thanks Shruti for giving her life, for being her mother and expresses her endless love before bidding her a final goodbye. Completely shattered Mannat breaks down.
Precap:Vikrant tells Mannat that he knows how much pain she is going through and he hasn’t come to add to her sorrow he has only come to say a final goodbye to Shruti who was also like a mother to him. Mannat cries and asks how he could leave her behind like this. Meanwhile Dhariya tries to stop Vishakha from reaching Vikrant and Mannat.
