Colors TV has officially announced its upcoming fiction drama MonRagam a Hindi adaptation of Star Maa’s acclaimed Telugu show Mounaragam.The show marks the much-awaited reunion of Bhavika Sharma and Shakti Arora who earlier won hearts with their chemistry in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein.
Unlike regular romantic dramas MonRagam is deeply rooted in social reality. Set in rural Bihar the story highlights serious issues like female foeticide, gender discrimination and the value of a girl child in society. It shows how the fate of a daughter is often decided even before she is born.
