Today’s episode begins with Rajini and Varun arriving at the chawl. They see darkness everywhere and get confused. Varun worries that maybe Anupama found out about his meeting with the builder and out of anger she may have cancelled the wedding. Rajini tells him not to overthink because even walls have ears and maybe the light has just gone out. Rajini calls out for Anupama.
Anupama Welcome Rajini and Varun
Anupama surprises them by turning on the lights and giving them a warm welcome. Rajini praises Anupama’s beautiful decorations. Varun asks who did all this. Anupama tells him that the entire chawl helped her. She explains that when someone gets married in a chawl everyone comes together like one big family to celebrate.
Anupama says she has planned a special welcome for Rajini and Varun and invites them to dance. Rajini joins her and Varun and Bharti also dance happily. Rajini appreciates Anupama’s dance. Later Bharti goes to take Rajini’s blessings and Rajini hands her a file telling her that her father’s land will finally be returned. Bharti and Anupama become emotional with happiness.
Rajini acts kind and says she did not want Bharti to be sad before her wedding so she solved the matter early. Bharti thanks her and calls her Mother. Rajini hugs her. Anupama believes Rajini’s act and praises her. Even Dance Rani compliments Rajini. Anupama gets impressed and calls her a goddess and the chawl people agree. Rajini says serving people is her duty and she hugs Anupama.
The Shahs arrive at the mehendi ceremony and Anupama becomes happy. Pakhi meets Ishani and congratulates her. Anupama asks about Ansh, Kinjal and Toshu. Leela says they will talk later and asks to begin the function. Ishani shows her car to Pakhi who becomes surprised and happy.
Vasundhara Gets Angry
Parag listens to the radio where news reporters are praising Rajini for setting an example in the chawl wedding. Vasundhara becomes irritated. She orders Parag to play it loudly so the neighbours can also hear how great Rajini is. Vasundhara reminds him that his partnership with Rajini is only business and nothing more. She warns him not to move beyond that and says that if he needs to talk to Rajini he should speak through Gautam. She tells him to forget the past and stop thinking about it. Parag says forgetting is not as easy as she claims. Vasundhara says it is easy if he wants to. He asks Vasundhara why she still remembers Anupama and tells him to forget her too.
Anupama introduces her family to Rajini and Varun. Hasmukh and Leela thank Rajini for helping Anupama. Varun apologises to Hasmukh and Leela for the mistakes he made earlier regarding Prem. Bharti thanks the Shah family for coming to her celebration. Rajini asks Anupama to begin the function.
Rajini Pressures Anupama to Sign Papers
Rajini takes Anupama aside and says she doesn’t want to discuss work at a function but there is an emergency. She gives Anupama a legal document and says it must be sent quickly. She tells her that the builder met the Chief Minister and if the CM passes an order they won’t be able to save the chawl. So they must get a stay order fast.
Anupama gets worried about signing during a function. She says she must read the paper carefully. Rajini insists that it is important for the chawl and tells her not to delay. She says the entire chawl trusts Anupama and they have given her full responsibility so only her signature is needed.
Anupama says she cannot make any mistake because the chawl people trust her. She says she will read every line and every paragraph and if she does not understand something she will ask. Rajini gets impatient but acts supportive. She says legal papers should always be read before signing and tells Anupama to read them quickly because they have already lost time.
Rajini emotionally manipulates her saying that the chawl has become like her own house since her son is marrying a girl from there. She says her reputation, name, and career are at risk. If they fail to save the chawl from the builder everything will be over for her.
As Anupama is about to read the papers Preet calls her for the mehendi. Rajini and Varun become tense.
Anupama Gets Shocked
Khyati tells Parag that Prarthana’s sonography report has arrived and she wants to discuss the baby shower. Parag stressed accidentally calls her by Rajini’s name. Khyati thinks he is stressed from working with Rajini and Vasundhara feels relieved that suspicion was avoided. But she warns Parag that if he continues to slip Khyati will soon discover the truth.
Anupama finally looks at the papers and becomes shocked. She tells Rajini the document is in very difficult English unlike the previous Hindi papers. Rajini lies again saying she had instructed her PA to prepare it in Hindi but he did not do it due to lack of time. She offers to translate it for Anupama.
Rajini lies again saying the lawyer has sent a message that if the builder proves the chawl is old and unsafe it will be demolished. Anupama gets scared and is about to sign. At that exact moment Prem and Rahi surprise her and Anupama fails to sing paper again.
Precap: Rahi says that since Anupama is playing Santa Claus today she should give her the first gift. Prerna argues with Rahi and hugs Anupama. Prerna looks at Prem and tells Rahi that whatever she likes becomes hers. Rahi becomes worried. Rahi gets insecure about Prem. Prerna tells Anupama that their relationship is very old. Rahi gets shocked. When Anupama goes to hug Rahi she stops her. Prerna’s eyes fall on Prem.
