Born on 18 December in Kolkata West Bengal Naman Shaw completed his schooling at St. Joseph School Kolkata (2000) and later graduated from Bhawanipur Education Society College. Coming from a grounded background he developed early interest in performance discipline and creative work long before he entered the television industry.

Journey into Acting

Naman first appeared on television through Zee TV’s talent hunt show ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’ (2004) where he reached the Top 15 marking the beginning of his acting journey. This platform opened the doors to mainstream television and shaped his career path ahead.

Breaking Through on Television

Naman soon began gaining attention on television thanks to his strong on-screen presence and natural acting style. After participating in India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj he gradually carved his space in the industry with memorable performances as Pushkar Shukla in Kasamh Se, Nakul Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ,Nihaal Garewal in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Sahil Verma in Kkavyanjali. His consistency and dedication made him one of the most reliable and engaging faces on television. Over the years he went on to be part of several popular shows including Kahe Naa Kahe, Kasturi, Rakt Sambandh, Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi, Piya Rangrezz, Naagin 2, and Kairee – Rishta Khatta Meethamwhere he even stepped in to replace Jay Bhanushali and still managed to make the character his own. Naman also displayed his lively and sporty side through reality shows like Nach Baliye 4 and  Khatra Khatra Khatra and his passion for cricket shone through when he became Player of the Match in Box Cricket League Season 1.

After a six-year hiatus from television Naman Shaw made a strong comeback in 2024 as the male lead in Mangal Lakshmi a show that continues to air successfully. In this series he embraces a complex grey-shaded character marking a significant shift from the earlier chocolate boy image he was known for. His layered performance has resonated with audiences and the show has achieved a major milestone by celebrating over 400 episodes further solidifying his place as a versatile and compelling actor in Indian television.

Naman also explored the world behind the camera and gradually evolved into a creative force in production. He has been associated with projects like Taish and the web series Flip (HUNT) and even assisted his wife Neha Mishra in producing the web series Kaala in 2023. Known for his honest approach toward the industry Naman remains vocal about his belief in genuine talent over social media-driven casting making him not just a performer but an artist who values authenticity and passion for craft.

Personal Life

Naman’s personal life is as inspiring as his professional one. He married actress Neha Mishra on 24 November 2017 after a beautiful best friends to life partners love story. The couple shares a close, emotionally strong bond, often compared to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s Rahul–Anjali journey.

They welcomed their son Kriivaan in 2021 and Naman proudly prioritised family time while supporting Neha in her production career. Their marriage stands as an example of friendship, mutual respect, and partnership.
