Today’s episode begins with Anupama desperately trying to sign the papers. Rajini attempts to take her thumb impression but fails and frustrated she leaves.
Anupama remains tense. Leela notices her worry and tells her she has prepared halwa to comfort her. When Anupama asks if Leela will feed her Leela lovingly feeds her and assures everything will be fine.
Just then Pakhi arrives and tells Anupama that she returned the car and paid the money back to Sarita. Leela says she hasn’t done any favour. Pakhi questions Anupama asking if she really would have called the police and had Ishani arrested.
Anupama replies that by looking at her face she feels Pakhi thinks she was joking. Pakhi argues that no matter what she did how could Anupama consider doing this to Ishani. Anupama asks Pakhi to stop talking. Leela tells Pakhi to leave Anupama alone and let her calm down.
Anupama receives a call from Khayati who says she knows Anupama must have panicked seeing her name on the phone thinking something bad must have happened. Khayati asks her not to worry she is calling to invite her for Prarthana’s baby shower.
Khayati says they must attend. Anupama sweetly replies that when the baby is born she will tell the child how lovingly its grandmother called to invite her .
Khayati then shocks her by saying that to tell the baby this story Anupama will have to visit their home because she will not allow anyone to take Aaryan away. Both Anupama and Leela are stunned. Khayati insists they attend otherwise Prarthana won’t even leave her room. Just when Anupama is about to say something Vasundhara grabs the phone.
Vasundhara taunts Anupama saying that if someone offers a finger she should take the whole hand. She clarifies that they are inviting her only out of formality. She warns Anupama from childbirth to upbringing everything will be handled only by the Kothari family. she adds that the baby will be known as a Kothari not a Shah. She blames Anupama’s family for turning Prarthana against them but says she has faced bigger storms and will overcome this too. Vasundhara declares that just as Prarthana is a Kothari her child will be a Kothari too and only their family has rights over the baby. She ends by saying Usually you people come without invitation but now we are giving you respect so take it and disconnects the call.
Leela gets furious asking who Vasundhara thinks she is and why she speaks to her daughter’s in-laws like this. She worries that Vasundhara might poison Prarthana’s mind against Ansh leading her to stay at her maternal home forever. Leela fears that if Prarthana demands a divorce Ansh will break completely despite working day and night to give her and their child a secure future.
Varun’s Strange Behaviour Confuses Rahi
Rahi and Prem visit Rajini’s office. Rahi notices the deal papers and is about to check them when Varun arrives. He apologizes for calling them suddenly. Rahi asks what was so important. Varun reveals that tomorrow is his wedding and he doesn’t know what to wear.
Prem is shocked that he called them for outfit selection. Rahi says he could have spoken on the phone. Varun explains he is stressed because of pre-wedding pressure.
He mentions that if Guddi were around she would’ve helped.Rahi asks who Guddi is.
Varun says she is his sister.
Rahi is surprised that his sister isn’t attending the wedding. Varun replies he doesn’t know if she got the invitation maybe she won’t come.
Rahi tells him it’s okay they’ll help him choose. She reminds him that the papers might fly away and closes the file. Varun is shocked those papers concern the chawl redevelopment and if Rahi sees them it could create problems. He tries to stop her but Rahi insists. Just then Rajini enters and closes the file herself. Rajini asks why Varun didn’t inform her they were coming. Varun says they came to help select outfits.
Rahi begins wondering what was so important in those papers that Rajini didn’t even let her touch them.
Christmas Preparations
Anupama and Dance Rani decorate the Christmas tree.
Meanwhile Pakhi tries to cheer up Ishani telling her about a party filled with industry people where she can network. Ishani says she recently escaped going to jail how can she think about a party? Pakhi insists she is thinking about her career. Ishani says if Anupama even hears the word party she’ll break her bones. Pakhi warns her that if she keeps fearing Anupama she will achieve nothing. Ishani says that if she doesn’t fear Anupama she will send her back to Ahmedabad. That’s why she must behave until she becomes financially independent. She explains that she needs to act sweet for now because she needs Anupama’s support but once she earns money she will leave. She won’t live in the chawl forever she must build a big career, earn big money, and make contacts.
Anupama Saves Prerna from Accident
Everyone waits for Anupama.who arrives dressed as Santa and distributes gifts to the kids. Husmukh asks about Rahi and Prem Anupama says they’ve gone to Varun’s place.
Prerna enters and begins dancing joyfully. Suddenly a truck rushes towards her. Prerna is unaware and continues dancing. Just in time Anupama saves her from being hit. A shaken Prerna hugs her tightly. Anupama scolds her for walking on the road with headphones on what if something had happened?
Anupama takes her to the Christmas celebration. Anupama says she didn’t want to scold her today but she forced her to. Prerna says she always gets scolded but no one has ever scolded her with love before. She laughs. Anupama is cconfused Prerna hugs her again in excitement. Anupama asks if she knows her. Prerna says yes she watched her Superstar Chef competition and still watches her old cooking videos. Prerna asks for the route to a hotel and Anupama guides her. Anupama says that Santa gives gifts on Christmas but today she herself received the biggest gift meeting Prerna. Prerna smiles and Anupama blesses her.
The kids call Anupama to dance and she invites Prerna to join their Christmas celebration before heading to the hotel.
Rajini gives Rahi Expensive Gift
Rahi and Rajini share a warm moment. Rajini tells Rahi that talking to her makes her feel less lonely Varun is busy with politics and she has no friends or family. Rahi tells her she has Anupama and Bharti who are becoming her family. Rajini says everything good in her life has happened because of Anupama. Rahi taunts that people often use Anupama for their benefit which is why she always warns Anupama not to trust bblindly Rajini admits that Anupama is very innocent and says she is happy to have Rahi and Prem with her.
Rajini brings a gift for Rahi since it’s her first visit to her house. Rahi is shocked to see the expensive gift and says it wasn’t necessary.
Rajini insists saying she bought it for her daughter but is giving it to Rahi because she’s like a daughter to her. She says everything has been good in her life ever since Anupama arrived. Rahi thinks understanding Rajini is very difficult. Rajini tries calling Anupama but she doesn’t answer.
Anupama dances with Prerna and the children celebrating Christmas with joy and warmth.
Precap : Anupama prepares Bharti for her wedding. ishani reaches the wrong party where a police raid happens. Leela shows Prem and Prerna to saying Vanraj and Kavya were also close and warns rahi to be careful. Anupama questions Pakhi about Ishani. Pakhi says she shouldn’t worry. Anupama says she feels uneasy. Police arrest Ishani.
