The stage of Kaun Banega Crorepati turned heartfelt and nostalgic when legendary host Amitabh Bachchan welcomed celebrity chef and MasterChef India judge Ranveer Brar as a special guest. What followed was a beautiful exchange filled with admiration, warmth, humour, and an emotional tribute to timeless poetry.
Introducing Ranveer Brar Amitabh Bachchan proudly said You’ve surely seen him he’s one of the most celebrated names in the culinary world.Adding his signature hhumour, he joked
“They say if you want to win your husband’s heart serve him dinner nothing else” sparking laughter across the set.
Ranveer Brar shared his long-time admiration for Mr Bachchan recalling his childhood memory with gratitude “When I was young I travelled from Lucknow to Prayagraj just to see your home. Sitting in front of you today feels surreal and I couldn’t have missed this moment for the world.”
The atmosphere shifted to deep emotion when Amitabh Bachchan recited lines from Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s legendary ‘Madhushala‘ upon a request from the contestant’s father. The recital left Ranveer visibly moved as he opened up about his personal connection to the poem “There was a time I couldn’t find the original HMV vinyl of Madhushala. Today I own eight copies because I feared losing even one. Listening to it in your voice today truly makes me feel like a crorepati.”
Speaking about the upcoming season of MasterChef India Ranveer shared an exciting reveal “For the first time ever, MasterChef India is coming in pairs. This season will witness not just one but two MasterChefs.”
