Born on 15 March 1993 in Mumbai Maharashtra Kanwar Dhillon hails from a Punjabi Sikh Jat family. His father Deep Dhillon is a veteran actor best known for films like Ghayal and the legendary television series Mahabharat Growing up in a household filled with creativity and performance Kanwar was naturally drawn to acting from an early age.
He completed his graduation in Mass Media (BMM) fromThakur College Mumbai balancing academics with his passion for drama and performance. His upbringing instilled discipline, focus, and a love for storytelling qualities that would later define his career.
Journey into Acting
Kanwar made his first television appearance in 2012 with the youth-oriented show The Buddy Project portraying Kunal a charming and relatable college student. His dedication and screen presence soon caught the attention of viewers and industry insiders alike.

Kanwar shares a beautiful relationship with actress Alice Kaushik his co-star from Pandya Store. Their on-screen chemistry gradually transformed into a real-life romance starting around April 2021 strengthened during shoots in the second lockdown.
