Early Life

Born on 1 September 1994( age 31) in Faizabad (Ayodhya) Uttar Pradesh Krushal moved with his family to Kolkata when he was just a few months old. Raised in a grounded and supportive household by his parents Raj D. Ahuja and Soni Ahuja.

He studied at BD Memorial Institute where he was known for his confidence and charm earning titles like Mr. BDMI. His college years at Asutosh College helped him discover his inclination toward performing arts, modeling, and cultural activities. Although he was an outstanding sportsperson at the national level life had a different path planned for him.

Krushal’s destiny took a surprising turn when a Bengali movie Tor Naam was being shot at his school. A teacher asked him to stand as a background artist and the experience left a deep mark. A simple moment in a film set sparked a passion he had never imagined and acting slowly became his calling.

To shape this newfound dream he trained at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares in Mumbai polishing his skills and building his confidence.

The Journey into Acting

Before making his television debut Krushal worked in print ads, modeling assignments, photoshoots, and done a short film titled Bidayi.

His first breakthrough came in 2018 when he bagged the lead role of Dhrubo Mitra in the Bengali show Ranu Pelo Lottery opposite Bijaylakshmi Chatterjee. The show introduced him as a fresh newcomer with strong screen presence.

Krushal’s real recognition arrived through his portrayal of Karna Sen in the popular Bengali series Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay.

He further cemented his acting journey with Arjun Agarwal in Rishton Ka Manjha a role that brought him nationwide popularity. His natural acting style and charm made him a household name.

Krushal reached a new level of fame when he entered Hindi television as Aniruddh Bose in the hit Star Plus show Jhanak (2023–2025). His layered portrayal of a compassionate responsible, yet emotionally conflicted man earned him massive appreciation. His on-screen chemistry with co-star Hiba Nawab won them the 2025 Fan Favorite Jodi Award.

After Jhanak he took on another lead role as Aviraj in Colors TV’s Binddii (2025) continuing to prove his versatility and evolving talent.
