Today’s episode begins with Prem losing his temper at the media. He says that although they are from the media it doesn’t mean they can ask any kind of irresponsible questions. He reminds them they are reporters not a court that they have no right to declare judgments without knowing the truth. Sarita also warns that if they comment about Dance Rani or the chawl she will not tolerate it.
Rajini steps forward and says the media has come to cover Varun’s wedding and should focus only on that. She knows Anupama and the chawl residents very well. She asks them to think logically if anything wrong happened here would she get her own son married in this place? Rajini says Anupama neither does anything wrong nor allows anything wrong to happen. She adds that the people here are poor but not wrong they work hard every day. If something wrong was happening why would they struggle so much? She questions the media’s mindset If a girl wants to be an actress does that make her characterless?. She warns them that one headline can destroy someone’s entire life. She assures them she trusts the chawl people and Anupama completely and that is why she is making a girl from this chawl her daughter-in-law.
Rajini tells Anupama that she will accompany her to the police station. Bharti tells Anupama to bring back Ishani and Preet so that everyone is present for the wedding functions. Anupama and Rajini leave with the inspector.
Parag is watching Varun and Bharti’s wedding video. Vasundhara asks why he is watching it and says she too feels something is wrong. She tells Parag that she trusts herself but it seems Parag is hiding something and if she finds out his betrayal from someone else she will not be able to handle it.
Gautam arrives and offers sweets. Vasundhara asks what the celebration is for. Gautam says the builder has called the NOC has been signed and the chawl redevelopment project can begin. Parag asks if Anupama has signed the papers. Vasundhara becomes happy. Gautam says that after Rajini’s son’s wedding they will have to go to Mumbai to start the project work.
Parag hugs Gautam and tells him not to inform anyone that Anupama lives in this chawl not even Mahi. Once everything settles he will reveal it himself.
Mahi Drops a Bombshell
Mahi tells everyone that Ishani has been arrested for doing illegal activities and shows them the police video. Vasundhara says Anupama and her daughters are making a name for themselves in the wrong way in Mumbai. Khayati defends Anupama but is silenced. Gautam says such things are common in the film industry. Parag defends Anupama saying that although they may have many complaints against her she is not that kind of person he trusts her. But Vasundhara refuses to trust Anupama.
Gautam asks if only Ishani is involved or more girls too. Vasundhara warns that if Ishani’s name gets dragged so will Pari’s and since Pari is connected to their family the shame will reach them as well. She wants the matter contained within the chawl and nowhere near their house.She decides to call Prem and tell him to bring Rahi back immediately.
Parag worries that because of all this his project may get affected. He thinks every passing day is dangerous now and nothing should go wrong.
Kinjal Stops Toshu
Toshu is leaving with his bag when Kinjal asks where he is going. He says he is going to Mumbai to bring Pari back because Anupama took both girls with her but now Ishani has created a mess there too. Kinjal throws his bag and questions him if Ishani made a mistake why is Anupama being blamed? She reminds him that Pakhi is also Ishani’s mother but even she couldn’t handle her. She scolds Toshu for never taking responsibility for Pari yet showing attitude toward Anupama who is fulfilling the duties he never did. She warns him that she will never let him use Pari’s alimony money to start a business.
Ishani Breaks Down At the Police Station
Anupama reaches the police station. Ishani falls at her feet and pleads that she has not done anything wrong. She says she knows she lacks sense and manners but she is not characterless.Anupama assures her that she trusts her. Ishani explains that she and the other girls were at a shoot. When they heard the police siren everyone ran and she trapped. She tried calling Anupama but Anupama didn’t answer. Preet answered but also got stuck because of her.Anupama asks her to calm down.
Leela and Hasmukh worry about the situation. They wonder whether Ishani committed a crime or not. Once a blame is put on someone life becomes difficult. Pakhi overhears and hopes Anupama will save Ishani somehow.
The girls at the police station ask Anupama for help saying they came from different cities with dreams of becoming actresses and have no one in this big city. Anupama tells them that if they haven’t done anything wrong they should not be scared. Police are doing their job. They should speak the truth and share all details including the number that called and trapped them.
Rajini informs Anupama that she has spoken to the Commissioner and proper investigation will be conducted. If these girls are innocent they will be helped.Anupama tells the girls that life often brings them to crossroads where wrong seems easier. But shortcuts are dangerous they must always choose the right path.
Rahi is worried about Ishani and Anupama. Rajini tells her not to stress and assures her that Anupama will handle everything. Prerna interrupts and says there are three types of people in the world those like Anupama who always think of others, those like them who think of themselves first, and people like Rajini who think only and only about themselves.
Prem arrives. Prerna asks him to take care of Rahi and leaves.
Prem gets Preet’s message saying that Rajini saved everything. Rahi feels relieved. She says Rajini emotionally supported Anupama and handled the media well. Prem appreciates that Rahi acknowledged Rajini’s efforts. Rahi says she still cannot trust Rajini but she hopes her doubts prove wrong.
Preet worries if Bharti’s wedding might get affected. Rajini says the wedding has already happened. Bharti didn’t want to but because the muhurat was passing she asked Varun to complete the ceremony. Ishani blames herself and apologizes to everyone.
Varun apologizes to Bharti for everything that happened during the wedding. Bharti says Rajini has supported them a lot. They had to get married without them but the bidaai will only happen when Anupama returns from the police station. Prerna tells Varun that Rajini never does anything out of goodness only for business. She is sure Rajini has a hidden agenda even behind this wedding. Rahi and Prem overhear this. Rahi begins to think that if Rajini’s own daughter is saying this then maybe there is some truth. Prem says Prerna might also be wrong.
The media begins discussing that Rajini might also be part of the racket because people in power can go to any extent to save their chairs. They claim police would not dare to go against Rajini unless there was something suspicious.
Chawl Turn Against Anupama
Anupama arrives with Ishani and Preet. The media bombards her with harsh questions. Anupama tries to answer but notices Ishani and Preet standing with their heads down. She tells them to raise their heads if they haven’t done anything wrong they must look straight into people’s eyes and answer confidently.
But the chawl residents turn against them. They tell Anupama to take Ishani and Preet out as they don’t want them in the chawl anymore. They accuse the girls of ruining the chawl’s reputation. Anupama tries to explain the misunderstanding but no one listens. Rahi also tries to convince them. Anupama says police released the girls because they found out the truth. But the chawl residents insist that Rajini used her power to get them out.
Preet breaks down and says she would never do anything wrong. Bharti supports them saying a family stands together in tough times.
The chawl residents insist that Ishani and Preet must leave. Rajini enjoys watching the darma. Prerna stands by Anupama but the chawl people ask Rajini to control Prerna and tell her not to interfere.
They tell Anupama they respect her so she should remove the girls herself before they are thrown out. A woman throws a slipper at the girls. Anupama loses her temper.
