The incident occurred in the Zoo Road area while the couple was crossing the street after having dinner at a local hotel.
According to reports from the Geetanagar police station, the couple had just stepped out of “The Guwahati Address” hotel when a speeding motorcycle, traveling from the Chandmari side, struck them. The impact was significant enough to cause injuries to both Ashish and Rupali, as well as the motorcycle rider himself.
