Today’s episode begins with Anupama saying that she could easily give Bharti a long lecture but at this moment she does not know what to say. Bharti gently tells her to place her dupatta on her head, saying it will feel as if Lord Krishna himself is blessing her. Everyone present becomes emotional. Bharti shares that her life once had only darkness but Anupama brought light into it. Anupama responds by saying that Bharti helped her reconnect with herself at a time when she had lost her own identity. Bharti thanks Anupama saying that what her parents could not do for her Anupama did by finding her a loving life partner like Varun. She promises never to leave Anupama’s side.
Rahi emotionally says that daughters may sometimes leave their mothers but mothers never leave their children. Bharti thanks everyone for showering her with so much love and trust. She says she can now leave the chawl without worry because nothing can go wrong as long as Anupama is there.
Anupama’s Advice to Bharti and Varun
Anupama advises Bharti to keep everyone in her new home happy but not forget her own happiness. She reminds her that a woman’s identity is not limited to being someone’s wife or daughter-in-law. She tells Bharti never to forget her dreams while fulfilling others expectations. Anupama encourages Bharti to raise her voice if she ever feels something is wrong. She asks Varun to trust Bharti completely, share everything with her and always stand by her side. She places Bharti’s hand in Varun’s and tells him to love her protect her and never let her cry.
Anupama congratulates Rajini and requests her to treat Bharti like her own daughter. Rajini admits she may never become a mother like Anupama but promises to try her best.
Prerna hugs Bharti and says Varun is not bad at heart but gets influenced easily. She suggests that for peace Bharti and Varun should live separately. Everyone is shocked until varun intervenes and Prerna says she was only joking.
Bharti asks Prerna if she will not come with them. Prerna replies that she will come later Anupama begins the bidaai ritual and asks Rahi to bring the plate. Rahi becomes emotional remembering how much she hurt Anupama in the past. Prem comforts her reminding her how painful it feels to see someone disrespect their mother.
Rahi breaks down admitting that Anupama only gave love but in return she received pain. She says she never felt as scared when she ran away as she does today during the bidaai. Anupama overhears the conversation and becomes emotional and hugs Rahi
Prerna’s and Rajini’s Argument
Rajini questions Prerna about why she wants to stay in a hotel despite having a home. Prerna replies that staying in the chawl will help her see whether Rajini truly keeps her promise of protecting the chawl or if it is all just words. She adds that Rajini’s house feels like a cage to her.
Anupama later speaks to Rahi explaining that daughters are strong and capable of building new homes. Rahi regrets not understanding her mother’s value earlier and wishes she could turn back time. Anupama praises Prem for standing by Rahi.
Rajini and Prerna observe the bond between Anupama, Rahi, and Prem and remarks that not every daughter is like Rahi because not every mother is like Anupama.
Anupma joyful Farewell Dance
As Bharti becomes emotional during the bidaai Anupama stops everyone and says Bharti is starting a new life and should be sent off with smiles not tears. Everyone dances to celebrate Bharti’s new beginning.
Rajini thinks that instead of dowry she has given her daughter the most important gift the chawl paper . Anupama grows emotional after Bharti leaves and notices that the lights keep flickering. She tells herself not to think negatively.
Rajini feels relieved that the papers have been signed and thinks Anupama may have to pay a heavy price for her goodness.
Prerna To Stay In Chawl
Preet misses Bharti deeply. Prerna comments that a person’s value is often realized only after they leave. She asks if she can stay in the house instead of returning to her own home or the hotel. Preet allows her.
Anupama overhears this and insists Prerna should go home. Prerna refuses to seek Rajini’s permission and Anupama finally allows her to stay. Rahi is shocked. Anupama explains that if she had refused Rajini would think she was being unfair. Rahi expresses concern saying there must be a reason behind Prerna’s behavior toward Rajini. Anupama says she is exhausted and will talk later.
Pakhi tries to cheer up Ishani. Ishani says she is lucky she escaped a dangerous situation but many girls are not so fortunate. She advises Pakhi never to give up no matter how big a star she becomes.
Anupama dreams that the chawl residents turn against her blaming her and calling her a traitor.
Precap : Anupamaa returns to Ahmedabad and meets Ansh, Toshu, and Kinjal, who are happy to see her. She gets shocked on seeing Diwakar and angrily grabs his collar. Pakhi stops her and pushes her away warning her not to touch Diwakar because he is going to be her future husband and Anupama’s future son-in-law. Anupama is left completely shocked.
