Today’s episode begins with Abhira asking Armaan if he is ready to fight the case. Armaan replies that it is not enough to just fight today he has to win. Abhira says that to increase his chances of winning she has brought a few things for him.
She first ties the sacred thread given by Vidya around Armaan’s wrist. Then she hands him Sanjay and Manoj’s case-related notes to help him during the hearing. She also gives him Madhav’s medal so that he does not feel alone. Armaan tells Abhira that she has brought much more than just things she has brought strength.
Abhira then gives him curd and sugar sent by Maira reminding him that just as he used to feed Maira before important moments she has sent it for his victory. some of the curd accidentally falls on Armaan coat .
Armaan is shocked to see Meher and Shyam Mittal enter the court. Seeing Meher Abhira recalls her earlier meeting with her and greets her warmly. Armaan offers Meher water and assures her that she will have his full support in court. He asks her to stay calm saying everything will be fine and the judge will arrive soon.
Abhira notices Meher’s outfit and stops her saying the court may object to her appearance. Armaan agrees and Mittal offers to ask the driver to arrange clothes. Armaan points out that the judge will not wait. Abhira quickly helps Meher by giving her a shawl and reassures her that Armaan is the shield of the innocent and will not let anything happen to her.Armaan then asks Mittal for permission to speak to Meher privately.
Tension Rises at the Poddar House
At the Poddar house everyone is anxious about the court hearing. Sanjay informs the family that the proceedings have begun and that he has asked his junior to keep him updated on Armaan’s case. The entire family prays for Armaan’s victory.
Meanwhile Tanya receives a call from Krish. Worried she asks where he is and why he was not answering her calls. Krish assures her that he is fine and says he will fix everything. Tanya asks for his location saying she will come to meet him. Krish replies that he will come to take her himself and that they will live happily away from the Poddar house. Tanya questions how they will manage money and a new house. Krish confidently says everything will work out and asks her to start planning. He disconnects the call leaving Tanya deeply worried.
The goons warn Krish that he seems overconfident. Krish replies that he is also a lawyer and that the punishment for murder is only jail. When asked how they will know what is happening in court Krish reveals that he has placed his own assistant inside the courtroom who will keep him informed about Armaan’s case.
Courtroom Drama Begins
Inside the courtroom Abhira anxiously waits for Armaan when the sacred thread slips from her hand. A woman with her face covered returns it to her. The judge asks when Armaan will arrive. Khurana comments that Armaan is wasting the court’s valuable time. Just then Armaan enters and the judge orders the hearing to begin.
Prosecution Accuses Meher of Murder
Khurana argues that Meher was returning home from an award function with her driver Rajat. During the journey an argument broke out and Meher brutally killed Rajat with a glass bottle.
Armaan strongly defends Meher stating that she acted only to protect her dignity. He explains that Rajat tried to take advantage of Meher when she was alone and that there was no one to help her. What happened was not murder but an act of self-defense in a clear case of sexual harassment.
Khurana argues that only Rajat could have explained what truly happened but Meher killed him. There is no evidence, no witnesses, and no proof, so how can the court trust Meher’s version?
Armaan then calls an eyewitness. Khurana questions how a witness suddenly appeared when Armaan earlier claimed no one was present. Armaan submits the call details of the witness Radha and explains that she was passing by the area at the time. Radha is called to the witness box.
Radha testifies that Rajat was misbehaving with Meher and that Meher looked terrified. Before Radha could intervene both went inside the car. Moments later the door opened and Rajat fell out bleeding. Meher followed holding a broken glass bottle crying and asking what had happened. Radha admits she was scared and did not want to get involved with the police but she clearly saw Rajat forcing himself on Meher. Meher acted only to protect her dignity.
Armaan states that Radha’s testimony proves that Rajat died not because Meher intended to kill him but because she was defending herself.
Khurana Attacks Meher’s Character
Khurana questions why no witness was found earlier and claims. He then calls his main witness and requests permission to question Meher.
Armaan submits Meher’s medical report stating that she is still suffering from trauma, stress, and anxiety, and requests the court not to question her further.
Khurana claims Meher’s anger is her biggest weakness and calls her staff member Rekha who says Meher often scolds people. He then calls Rajeev Kapoor an ex-employee. In a flashback Meher tells Armaan that Rajeev was caught leaking confidential company information and in anger she broke her phone in front of everyone.
Khurana argues that Meher’s anger issues make her capable of murder and suggests that she is falsely accusing Rajat of sexual assault. Krish confidently tells the goons that Armaan has already lost.
Armaan provokes Khurana with questions causing Khurana to lose control and grab Armaan’s collar. The judge warns both lawyers.Armaan apologizes to the court and explains that while Khurana reacted with violence over words Rajat crossed limits with Meher’s dignity. For Meher violence was not a choice but the last option.
Armaan submits Rajat’s forensic report proving that Meher tried to push him away. Khurana argues that Meher could have run away or screamed for help. Armaan responds by asking the court to imagine the condition of a woman in such fear.
Khurana questions how Meher found the courage to kill someone. Armaan asks which woman would lie about her own dignity. Khurana makes a remark about Meher’s lifestyle to which Armaan strongly responds that partying or coming home late does not give anyone the right to assault a woman.
Rajat’s Wife statement
Khurana calls Rajat’s wife Anita to the witness box. Anita whispers that she wants to give her statement privately. Armaan objects saying that if Anita truly believes her husband was innocent she should speak openly. Khurana requests time claiming Anita is emotionally unstable. Armaan counters that Khurana only wants time to create a new story.
Armaan’s Final Argument
Armaan tells the court that Khurana has no proof against Meher but he has evidence against Rajat. He reveals that Rajat was fired from his previous job due to sexual assault charges and that Meher made a mistake by not conducting a background check.
He also states that Meher was funding Rajat’s daughter’s school fees proving her humane nature. All evidence points to Meher’s innocence.
Precap : The judge declares Meher innocent and grants her an honourable acquittal. Armaan credits Abhira for the victory. However Abhira receives a shocking call from Anita who tells her that this is not Armaan’s victory but his defeat. Abhira is stunned wondering what Armaan has lost despite winning the case.
