Today’s episode begins with Diwakar telling Pakhi that he will meet her in Ahmedabad. Before Anupamaa can see him Diwakar leaves. Pakhi looks visibly nervous. Anupamaa questions Pakhi about who the man was and why he came at such an odd hour. She reminds Pakhi that she is a mother now and her actions will influence Ishani. Pakhi snaps back saying she is not a child and has met someone after a long time returned in a good mood and Anupamaa should not spoil it. She asks Anupamaa to go to sleep saying staying awake all night is not good at her age.
Anupamaa is shocked by Pakhi’s changed attitude and keeps wondering who the man was.
Prerna’s New Venture
Prerna helps Anupamaa in the kitchen when Prem walks in and is surprised to see her. Prerna compliments Prem and asks him to cut vegetables. Anupamaa also asks Prem to help. Prerna shares that she is planning to start a new venture in India and has invited Anupamaa to join her team. Prem says the venture is bound to be successful if Anupamaa is involved. Prerna suggests that Prem could also join them and help find locations possibly in Ahmedabad. Prem finds the idea interesting.
Anupamaa receives a video call from Rajini and tells her she is cooking with Prerna’s help. Rajini informs her that Varun and Bharti will visit for the pag phere ritual and invites Anupamaa, Leela, and Hasmukh to her house. Anupamaa tells her that Leela and Hasmukh have already left. Prerna taunts Rajini but Anupamaa immediately stops her from being rude.
Prerna’s Warning Leaves Anupamaa Confused
Prerna remarks that some people do not deserve Anupamaa’s goodness and advises her to stay cautious. Anupamaa starts wondering why Rajini suddenly wants everyone at her house and why Prerna keeps warning her indirectly. Rajini on the other hand feels relieved that Anupamaa still knows nothing.
The builder meets Rajini who handles the chawl papers and reminds him that she has fulfilled her part of the deal. The builder thanks Anupamaa and Rajini reminds him of her profit share. He assures her that once work begins the first installment will reach her soon. Rajini asks when the work will start and he says very soon leaving Rajini satisfied.
Prerna Opens Up to Rahi
While clicking photos of food Prerna speaks openly to Rahi. She admits that she knows Rahi dislikes her and that it is natural for a wife to feel uncomfortable with her husband’s female best friend especially one who once had feelings for him. She clarifies that she speaks her heart openly and holds no resentment toward Rahi.
Prerna admits she hates Rajini calling her sweet on the surface but poisonous within. She believes Rajini does everything purely for her own profit befriending Anupamaa marrying Varun and Bharti and dealing with the chawl builder all for personal gain. She warns Rahi to protect Anupamaa from Rajini. Rahi is shocked but feels her intuition about Rajini might be right.
Prerna praises Anupamaa’s cooking and Anupamaa shares that love is the most important ingredient in any dish. She feeds Rahi lovingly leaving everyone emotional. Rahi decides she must uncover Rajini’s true intentions.
Parag tells Rajini that he did not expect the chawl residents to agree and credits Anupamaa for making it possible. He wants to reveal to Prem and Rahi that the project belongs to him but Rajini refuses. She fears that if they learn Parag is involved they might change their decision. She asks Parag to wait until the work begins.
After ending the call Rajini mutters that to keep her image clean she must manipulate Parag and Anupamaa. She instructs Varun to bring Prerna back home during the pag phere visit saying Anupamaa’s distance benefits them. Rajini believes victory is close and a small mistake could ruin everything.
At the Shah house Khayati invites the family to Prarthana’s baby shower emphasizing reconciliation. Ansh agrees to attend and promises to inform Anupamaa as well. Khayati hopes the celebration will reduce distances between the families.
Anupamaa warmly welcomes Varun and Bharti. She becomes emotional seeing Bharti. Rajini thanks Bharti for helping reclaim her father’s land and Anupamaa calls Bharti fortunate to have Rajini as a mother-in-law. Prerna sarcastically comments on luck.
Rajini receives a call from the builder and Rahi notices his name flashing on her phone leaving her shocked.
Back at the Shah house Leela questions Pakhi about smiling while on her phone. Meanwhile Khayati invites the family again and urges Anupamaa’s presence at the baby shower. When Anupamaa receives a call from Parag Khayati speaks instead and invites her praising Anupamaa’s role in Parag’s success. Rajini panics as Anupamaa wonders what Parag meant.
Precap: Anupamaa returns to Ahmedabad and is warmly welcomed. Pakhi brings Diwakar home. Seeing him Anupamaa angrily grabs his collar demanding how he dared to come there. Pakhi pushes Anupamaa away and shocks everyone by declaring that Diwakar is her future husband and Anupamaa’s future son-in-law.
