Today’s episode begins with Armaan asking Abhira where Vani is. Abhira lies and explains that Vani was feeling uncomfortable after seeing so many people so she left her in the room. He then says he will try to bring her downstairs. Abhira stops him and insists that Vani will not come. Armaan requests her to at least try once saying that everyone is enjoying the party while Vani is sitting alone in the room. He adds that Miara has already bonded well with Meher and is sure that Vani would also feel comfortable with her. Abhira firmly tells Armaan not to let Vani meet Meher. Armaan points out that Abhira is still upset with Meher but Abhira denies being angry with anyone. Before she can complete her sentence, Kaveri arrives and takes Abhira away with her. Abhira clearly tells Armaan not to make Vani meet Meher. Armaan points out that Abhira is still upset with Meher but Abhira denies being angry with anyone.

Meher Jealousy
Meher is visibly irritated as the cake prepared by Abhira gets finished while the cake she brought is not even touched. Kiara tastes the cake and praises Abhira for making it so well. Surekha scolds Kiara for standing for too long and asks her to sit down warning that her legs might swell. Kiara replies that she will just eat one piece and leave. Surekha snaps back pointing out that Kiara has already eaten too much cake. Manisha brings a cake for Kiara and advises her not to listen to unnecessary comments. Surekha takes the cake away and says that when someone gives advice with good intentions it should be taken seriously as excessive sugar during pregnancy can lead to complications. Manisha counters that she always speaks positively but looking at Kiara it feels like no one is taking proper care of her.
Vani’s Room Turns Dangerous
Vani hears the party noise from her room shuts the door and lies down to sleep. Suddenly sparks appear from the light board in her room causing a short circuit and smoke to fill the space.
Downstairs Abhira performs a magic show for Myra and calls her onto the stage. Everyone applauds as the show begins. Krish recalls how he secretly tampered with the light board in Vani’s room and cut the wire assuming the smoke would force her to come downstairs in front of everyone. Satisfied with his plan he leaves the room.
Meher spots vani
As Abhira continues the magic show Vani comes out of her room. Meher spots her and is completely shocked wondering what she is doing there. Vani thinks about how to tell Abhira that her room is filled with smoke fearing that if she tells anyone else she will be blamed and scolded. Meher moves toward Vani but when Manisha asks if she needs anything Meher lies and makes an excuse. Before she can reach Vani Manoj steps in between. Abhira goes to bring the magic box for the next trick and Vani tries to approach her to explain about the room. The moment Meher notices Vani again she disappears. Meher desperately searches for her. Mittal asks whom she is looking for and Meher says she saw Rajat’s daughter. Mittal dismisses it as her imagination saying Rajat’s daughter cannot be there. Meher insists that Vani is really there but Mittal tells her to calm down.
The Krish’s Dark Plan
Abhira asks the servant to bring the magic box to the stage. Meher looks extremely stressed but Mittal tells her to control herself warning that if anyone notices her reaction they will become suspicious. Meher convinces herself that it must have been a misunderstanding.
The lights go off and everyone’s attention shifts to the large magic box on the stage. Miara excitedly asks what is inside. Abhira asks everyone to wait and recites magical words As Abhira opens the box Vani comes out. Abhira is stunned. Meher and Mittal are equally shocked and the entire Poddar family is left speechless. In anger Meher crushes the glass in her hand injuring herself.
Vani Truth Comes Out
In a flashback it is revealed that when Abhira asked the servant to place the box on stage and dim the lights to increase suspense Vani tried to inform Abhira about the smoke in her room. Before she could speak Krish lifted her and locked her inside the box. Back in the present Krish smirks pleased that his plan worked. Miara innocently asks Vani why she was inside the box. Mittal confronts Armaan asking if this is some kind of joke. Vani looks at Meher and recalls the television news about Rajat and her case which makes her panic. Mittal accuses Armaan of betraying his trust. Vidya intervenes saying this is not the time for such discussions. Mittal expresses concern for Meher whose old wounds have reopened upon seeing Vani. Vidya offers to apply medicine but Mittal coldly refuses.
Vani’s Identity Shakes Armaan
Abhira removes Vani from the box. Armaan says he does not understand why everyone is so upset or how they know Vani. Meher declares that Vani is Rajat’s daughter. The Poddar family is shocked. Armaan insists there must be some mistake and claims Vani is the daughter of Abhira’s friend. He brings Vani in front of Meher saying that although she resembles Rajat’s daughter Before he can continue Meher reveals that her name is Vani and that she is indeed Rajat’s daughter. Mittal demands to know why Armaan was not informed earlier. Armaan recalls Abhira’s words and looks at her. Abhira stands on the stage with her head bowed overwhelmed with emotion.
Vani gets scared seeing Meher. Armaan asks Abhira if Vani is truly Rajat Gupta’s daughter. Abhira comes down from the stage and nods in agreement. Terrified Vani tries to run away. Abhira attempts to stop her during which Meher’s cake falls and gets ruined. Miara becomes emotional seeing the cake destroyed. Armaan consoles Miara while Abhira stands helplessly with Vani. Armaan recalls Krish’s earlier words where he accused Abhira of lying and hiding the truth.
Abhira tells Armaan that she knows he is extremely upset and requests him to send Miara and Vani to the room first promising to explain everything afterward. Meanwhile Meher secretly picks up a sharp piece of broken glass. Vani notices this and tries to warn Abhira. In a fit of rage Meher rushes toward Vani and attempts to attack Abhira with the glass but Mittal intervenes just in time and stops her.
Trust Shattered
Armaan tells Mittal that he does not know why Rajat’s daughter is in his house but he is certain that Abhira would never do anything without a valid reason. Mittal responds that there is never a valid reason to lie to one’s husband and family. He recalls how Armaan praised Abhira calling her his inspiration and greatest strength but now it seems they were mistaken about her. Mittal adds that friendships may have different rules elsewhere but him befriending enemies is unacceptable. He leaves in disappointment as Meher continues bleeding from her injured hand. Vani looks at her wanting to say something Abhira but Armaan grabs Abhira’s hand and walks away with her.
Precap : Armaan angrily confronts Abhira demanding to know why she hid the truth about Vani. Abhira says she was about to tell him everything. Armaan accuses her of lying repeatedly when he asked about Vani’s father. He demands answers. Abhira shouts back saying she did not betray him. She reveals that Meher and Mittal are the real culprits as they caused the death of Rajat an innocent driver without any reason. Armaan is left completely shocked.
