Today’s episode begins with Armaan angrily shutting his laptop. Abhira immediately questions him about why he closed it. Armaan responds bitterly asking how he is supposed to keep watching Rajat force himself on Meher.
Abhira tells him to look at the video again properly because they do not know what conversation was happening between Rajat and Meher. Armaan argues that everything is clearly visible a shameless man is forcing himself on a helpless woman.
Abhira explains that she tried increasing the sound but the dashcam audio got messed up due to Aman’s car collision which caused the sound disturbance.
Armaan Explodes After Watching the Video
Armaan says that if any random person or authority watches this video they will conclude that Rajat was taking advantage of Meher and Meher attacked him only in self-defense.
Abhira questions whether Armaan trusts random people on the road or her. Armaan replies that this is exactly what makes things worse on Abhira’s insistence he reopened the entire case but he cannot ignore the evidence. He tells her it is time she admits her mistake.
Abhira firmly says that if she were wrong, she would accept it but she is not. Armaan accuses her of seeing all the proofs yet still denying the truth and says that even after being a woman she is unable to understand Meher’s pain.
Abhira Defends Her Stand Strongly
Abhira responds that supporting another woman is her duty but not when that woman is wrong. She clearly states that Meher is the criminal and Vani’s mother herself told her the truth.
Armaan questions how the statement of an unknown woman can be more reliable than evidence. He reminds Abhira that she is a lawyer and she should think with her mind not her heart. To him everything appears wrong and misleading.
Abhira asks why Rajat would look guilty if she already knows the truth. Armaan replies sharply that there is no truth, no proof, and whatever Vani’s mother said is neither verified nor reliable.
Abhira Refuses to Accept Meher as a Victim
Abhira argues that why would a dying woman lie. She explains what the Mittals did to Anita how after Rajat’s death goons repeatedly entered her house, harassed her, and made her life unbearable because no one wanted to help the poor wife of a so-called criminal.
She says Anita was left with no option but death.
Armaan counters harshly asking if Abhira would believe any poor woman crying tomorrow and accusing him. Abhira is shocked and immediately says this is nonsense Armaan could never do such a thing.
Armaan argues that Anita must have loved her husband the same way and she might have lied to protect his image fearing the truth would destroy Vani’s life. He says he is not calling Anita’s pain a lie but stress alone could have pushed her to such an extreme step.
Abhira insists that no mother abandons her child just because of stress. Armaan replies that if a mother believes one lie can save her child’s entire life she might choose that path. He accuses Anita of using Abhira’s kindness and insists Abhira must accept this reality.
Abhira says that no one could lie so convincingly to her face without her realizing it. She clarifies that she is not doubting Armaan’s capabilities but Armaan says she is being emotional instead of thinking calmly.
He reminds her that Anita died in front of Abhira’s eyes and Abhira has personally reviewed all the evidence including dashcam photos, which also suggest Rajat forced Meher and Meher acted in self-defense.
Abhira concludes that if Armaan believes this then his investigation has already reached zero.
Mittal Arrives at Poddar House
At the Poddar house Mittal waits for Armaan. He asks Madhav how many family members are missing since the party. Manisha names Krish, Abhir, Kiara, Miara, and Vani though she adds that Vani is not truly part of the family.
Mittal asks about Vani but Kaveri says she wants to meet her. Mittal admits that Vani’s father committed a crime but Vani is innocent and he feels ashamed for what he said to her during the party. He has brought a gift for Vani.
At that moment Armaan and Abhira return home. Armaan is shocked to see Mittal. Mittal says he needs to talk. Abhira instinctively steps forward to protect Armaan.
Mittal hands Armaan legal papers stating that Meher has signed them and has no objection to reopening the case. Armaan reads them carefully.
Mittal adds sarcastically that Armaan does not look like someone who found any evidence against Meher in the dashcam footage.
He then apologizes to the entire family saying Miara’s birthday was a precious moment and his presence ruined it. Armaan tells him he does not need to embarrass himself. Abhira suddenly walk out shocking everyone.
Mittal says that truth should punish criminals, but instead his own family relationships have suffered because of this case. Armaan confidently states that Abhira will soon realize she was wrong about Mittal and Meher.
Mittal leaves after handing Armaan a gift for Vani.
Tanya Faces a Major Responsibility
Tanya receives a call from manager Mr. Mehta who informs her that Anshuman had started multiple new projects before leaving investing a huge amount of company money. That is why when Tanya needed funds earlier only two crore could be arranged.
Mehta urges Tanya not to quit and explains that someone must lead these projects. Tanya hesitates, saying she has never worked in the office. Mehta insists that without leadership the company could collapse.
Tanya realizes that Anshuman built this company with immense hard work and she cannot let it fail.
Vani Falls Sick Abhira Stands by Her
Vani murmurs in her sleep holding her head in pain. Abhira notices her fear and silently promises justice for Vani’s parents. She realizes Vani has a high fever.
As Abhira tries to leave Vani holds her hand. Abhira comforts her saying she cannot bring her mother back but she will never leave Vani alone.
Miara witnesses this and pretends to have stomach pain. When Abhira prioritizes Vani Miara continues her act. Abhira stops Miara from entering Vani’s room warning her about viral fever and brings medicine instead.
Miara thinks that she also wants Abhira’s attention which is why she lied.
Abhira Struggles to Balance
Abhira gives Miara medicine rushes back to Vani gives her kadha and checks her temperature. Vidya and Kaveri observe everything. Vidya remarks that Abhira should stay with Miara accusing her of leaving her own child repeatedly.
Miara claims her pain has not reduced and asks Abhira to sit with her. Just then Vani sneezes and Abhira immediately rushes to her.
Armaan questions Abhira about managing both children alone. Abhira explains Vani’s condition and says she will prepare khichdi inform the school and manage everything.
Miara suddenly remembers her science exhibition and says her pain will be fine by morning. She also admits she forgot to make her project.
As Abhira prepares food the plate slips from her hand, but Vidya and Kaveri save it. Vidya comments that one cannot sail two boats at once. Kaveri adds that Armaan was right about Mittal and Abhira was wrong.
Abhira insists nothing is proven yet. Vidya argues that Armaan is more experienced and Abhira accuses them of refusing to trust her.
She reminds them that even strangers trust her as a lawyer and asks her family to do the same. Kaveri warns that both Armaan and Abhira can be wrong and the household atmosphere is deteriorating.
Abhira says her only mistake is taking care of a feverish child and honoring her promise to Anita.
Krish’s Frustration
Krish calls a friend for a job but learns there is no vacancy. Kajal watches silently as Krish gets angry on kajal saying she must be happy seeing him in this condition.
Abhir arrives. Armaan suggests feeding Miara while Abhira stays with Vani. Miara refuses food and demands help with her project. She rejects Armaan’s storytelling but happily agrees when Abhira offers.
Precap: Manisha informs Abhira that Vani has left the house. Shocked and panicked Abhira immediately rushes out to find her. As soon as Vani spots Abhira she runs toward the road in fear.
Meher notices Vani and coldly declares that Vani is the root of all her problems and that she will now destroy this root forever. Meher gets into her car and drives at high speed toward Vani while Abhira runs desperately behind them screaming for Vani to stop.
