Star Plus has long been known for presenting engaging and emotionally rich stories that resonate with television audiences. Continuing its tradition of experimenting with fresh narratives the channel is set to introduce a new romantic drama titled Tod Kar Dil Mera. What makes the show stand out from the usual love stories is its unique beginning an arranged marriage set against the culturally rich backdrop of Lucknow.
Even before its premiere the show has caught attention through its visually striking promos that showcase authentic locations rather than artificial setups. Adding to the curiosity producer Sachin Pandey recently shared an interesting insight about the making of the show revealing that Tod Kar Dil Mera has been filmed entirely on real locations without using studio sets.
Speaking about the production approach Sachin Pandey explained that this marks a rare and significant first for a Star Plus show. While several shows in the past have been shot outside Mumbai they were still largely set-based productions. In contrast Tod Kar Dil Mera has been captured completely on live locations shot frame by frame in real environments. He also acknowledged that although the process was demanding it was a crucial creative decision that added authenticity and depth to the storytelling.
The show stars Anurima Chakraborty as Raushni and Ashish Raghav as Raj. Set in Lucknow the narrative traces the journey of two individuals brought together through an arranged marriage gradually navigating their differences and discovering love along the way.
Tod Kar Dil Mera airs daily at 7 PM exclusively on Star Plus.
