Today’s episode starts with Surekha angrily dragging Manisha to the Poddar house. Seeing the chaos Kaveri asks what is happening. Surekha responds that everything was fine until Manisha entered her house. Kaveri asks whether Manisha has made any mistake to which Surekha replies that mistakes can happen unknowingly but whatever Manisha and Kiara did was done deliberately. When Kaveri asks what exactly they did Surekha reveals that they hid the truth about Kiara’s drug addiction. Abhir tries to step in to speak but Surekha immediately stops him and tells him that today she will not say even a single word.
Surekha Blames Kiara
Surekha continues angrily saying that no one ever informed her about Kiara’s big achievements darug addiction neither before the marriage nor after it. She adds that when Kiara’s health deteriorated it was Manisha and Manoj who instead of understanding the situation they argued with her. She then warns Kaveri that if anything happens to the child the responsibility will be only and only Kiara’s so-called addiction. Kaveri loses her temper and tells Surekha that first of all Kiara had an addiction earlier but she does not have it anymore and secondly if Surekha wants to distance herself from responsibility she can do so because Kaveri herself will fully support Kiara till her delivery.
When Surekha again refers to Kiara as a drug addiction case Kaveri corrects her sharply and says that her name is Kiara addiction was her mistake, not her identity. Kaveri adds that Abhir’s list of mistakes is far longer than Kiara’s but she ignored everything for the sake of both children. Surekha sarcastically says that now she understands where Kiara gets the courage to make such mistakes.
Manisha Draws the Line
Kiara intervenes and tells Surekha that Kaveri and Manisha never intended to insult her. Surekha responds sarcastically clapping and saying that Kiara herself is the root of every problem. She compares Kiara to Charu and says that Charu never drank yet God punished her with cancer while Kiara became addicted got pregnant before marriage and turned out to be careless. She says that such a girl deserves neither trust nor forgiveness.
Manisha finally speaks up and says that trust and forgiveness no longer matter. If Kiara troubles Surekha so much then Kiara will stay with her but Manisha makes it clear that a pregnant woman needs care, peace and happiness and for Kiara’s well-being Surekha’s shadow will not fall on her. She starts taking Kiara away. Kajal suggests asking Kiara and Abhir what they want but Manisha replies that Abhir would want his wife to be respected and happy. Abhir remains silent. Manisha announces that Kiara will stay here but Kiara stops her and says that she cannot leave her home.
Kiara explains that after her addiction came to light even Manisha had scolded her and no one supported her except Abhir. During the most difficult phase of her life Abhir stood by her and she cannot abandon him now. She assures that whatever issue Surekha has she will sit with her and resolve it maturely but she cannot stay here.
Abhira Explains To Truth Armaan
Abhira returns home expecting Maira to be very angry but she is shocked to see Armaan Armaan tells Abhira that he is not in a good mood either and asks why she did not inform them earlier that Vani was participating in a dance competition. Maira feels cheated believing that Abhira missed her performance but attended another child’s event. Abhira reminds Armaan of Maira’s first dance performance and they recall moments when Maira danced despite being injured when Abhira danced with her despite being sick and when Maira called her mom for the first time.
Abhira explains that not every child is lucky enough to see their parents smiling and that Vani joined the competition to imagine her parents smiling. Anita wanted Vani to perform on a big stage and it took her a long time to gather the courage to tell Abhira about the dream. Vani’s name had been selected but due to boarding school preparations Abhira could not discuss it earlier.
In a flashback Abhira is taking Vani to boarding school and gives her coconut water. Vani says she will go because Armaan told her it is a good school and that she will make friends. When Vani’s purse falls Abhira notices her photo and learns that Anita taught her dance and wanted her to become a dancer. Anita filled the form prepared her and took her for auditions but passed away before the competition. Abhira realizes that Vani’s name was on the final list but she could not tell her earlier because she was taking her to boarding school.
In the present Abhira says that if Anita’s last dream had broken she could never forgive herself. Vani danced imagining Anita sitting in front of her and that happiness mattered. She clarifies that she never intended to surprise Maira or Armaan and had tried calling Armaan but the loud music prevented him from hearing the call.
A Decision for Vani’s Happiness
Abhira tells Armaan that Vani will go to boarding school after the dance competition. If she reaches the finals keeping her for a few extra days is justified and if she is not selected she will be sent immediately. Armaan agrees but worries about Maira’s feelings. Abhira assures him that Maira will not feel left out even slightly. Armaan agrees but adds that if Vani is selected she must go to boarding school immediately after the competition.
Family Reacts to Abhira’s Choice
When the family learns that Vani will stay till the competition they are shocked. Vidya and Sanjay oppose Abhira accusing her of prioritizing Vani over her own daughter. Madhav supports Abhira saying that Maira will forget in a few days but Vani has lost her parents at a very young age and that pain will stay with her forever. Completing her mother’s dream will at least give her some happiness.
Manisha arrives with a letter shocking Abhira and Armaan. It turns out that both Maira and Vani have been selected for the dance competition finals and each participant must perform with a parent . Vidya questions whom Abhira will choose Maira or Vani.
Abhira Comforts Maira
Maira is practicing her dance when Armaan approaches her and tells her that he wants to talk to her. However Maira ignores Armaan and continues focusing on her practice. Armaan then stops the music and asks her to listen to him first before continuing to dance. He explains to her that she should not be so angry with Abhira. Maira closes her ears and says that if that is the case then why didn’t Abhira come herself to convince her.
Just then Abhira arrives wearing a joker costume and starts dancing to cheer Maira up. Maira becomes happy and hugs Abhira tightly. Abhira apologizes to Maira and admits that she should have told her earlier that Vani was also participating in the dance competition. She reassures Maira not to worry as she has already reached the finals. Maira then says that both of them will be dancing together anyway because in the competition participants have to perform with their parents. She asks Abhira if she will dance with her just like she always does. Abhira confirms that she will dance with Maira. Maira becomes excited and asks Abhira to promise her which Abhira does.
Abhira Prays for Acceptance
Meanwhile Abhir helps Surekha understand that her anger is valid and that Manisha may have said some harsh things to her as well. However he say her to accept that Kiara handled the situation with great maturity. He tells Surekha not to dwell on the past as Kiara no longer has any bad habits. He reminds her that pregnancy is the most sensitive phase in a woman’s lifes and during this time Kiara chose to stay with them instead of anyone else. He requests Surekha to forget everything and support Kiara by taking care of her. Surekha finally agrees.
Abhira worried about Vani
Abhira becomes worried about who will be Vani’s partner in the dance competition finals. At that moment Rahi calls Abhira and tells her that she has received the Chawl demolition papers and asks what she should do. Abhira says that legally there is nothing that can be done at the moment. Rahi says that she has complete faith in Abhira believing that she will find some solution. Abhira replies that Rahi has a mother like Abhira and she should trust her completely and not take tension because Anupama always finds a way out of difficult situations. Rahi says that no matter how much Abhira tries to stay calm she gets trapped in these worries and adds that she will ask Anupama to be careful.
Abhira tells Rahi not to worry saying that Anupama herself is a storm so she should trust her completely. Abhira also mentions that she is sending Rahi a diary and asks her to fill it too adding that on Basant Panchami they will all make a new beginning.
Later Abhira writes in her diary and prays to God that by the time the dance competition ends Vani is accepted by everyone in the house and is allowed to stay there permanently.
Precap: Vani insists that Abhira must dance with her in the finals. Armaan says that he will dance with Vani. Abhira admits that she was about to break Vani’s heart but Armaan saved her. Armaan reminds Abhira that Vani will be sent to boarding school after the competition.
