Today’s episode starts with Mannat’s emotional breakdown. In the flashbacks we see Dua crying uncontrollably while Ronnie tries to console her and calm her down. Dhariya also supports Ronnie and helps him handle the situation.
Mannat takes Dua to the doctor. During the check-up the doctor asks detailed questions about Dua and Dhariya and everyone answers . After examining Dua the doctor praises Dhariya saying that he knows even the smallest details about Dua which is rare nowadays because usually only a mother carries all the responsibility.
Mannat reveals that on Dua’s birth certificate Dhariya’s name was written in place of the father’s name. Ronnie explains that Dhariya has always supported Mannat unconditionally and will always stand by her. Mannat adds that Dhariya will remain Dua’s father figure for life.
Dhariya Learns About Mannat’s Silence
Dhariya returns home and asks Dua where Mannat is. Dua replies that Mannat has not come out of her room at all. Dhariya senses that something serious must have happened which is why Mannat has been unusually quiet.
During their conversation Dua reveals that Vikrant and Mannat had a fight and that she made Vikrant apologize to Mannat. Dhariya immediately feels that Vikrant must have said something deeply hurtful which is why Mannat is so disturbed.
Dhariya and Dua come up with a plan to bring Mannat out of her room. Dhariya pretends to have a stomach ache and Mannat rushes to check on him. She becomes worried but Dua soon reveals that it was all a prank staged only to make Mannat step out.
Mannat Opens Up About Vikrant
When they are alone Dhariya asks Mannat what Vikrant said to her. He says that Vikrant must have said something otherwise Mannat would not be this upset. Mannat replies that Vikrant said the same things he always says. He accused her again questioning how she was able to forget him and move on with her life.
Mannat says that Dua’s birth certificate carries his name but she does not know why the time has come to tear that paper apart. She clarifies that this decision is not for herself but for Mannat because he does not want anyone to point fingers at her or speak ill of her unnecessarily. Mannat firmly states that she is Dua’s family and this family has never needed any legal documents to exist or to prove relationships. She questions why they need to prove their bond to the world. When they were broken and struggling no one from society came forward to support them. Everyone was busy with their own lives, and even now they should remain the same.
She adds that her relationship with Dhariya has no name but it is real and truthful. They do not need to prove their bond to anyone. Those who stood by them during difficult times already know the truth, and those who walked away do not deserve any explanations.
Mannat admits that her anger comes from the fact that Vikrant never changes. Dhariya responds that he understands her pain and says that no matter how hard they try or how much effort they put in some paths are simply not meant to move forward.
He adds that their friendship will always remain the same. Their bond was formed during their weakest phase when they supported each other. When a relationship survives such a phase it does not need a label. Mannat is his good friend and that is more than enough.
Vishwa calls Vikrant and asks whether Dua is participating in the competition. He insists that Vikrant must ensure Dua’s participation as Arambhi wants Dua to take part and Vikrant cannot go against his wife’s decision.
Vishwa responds sarcastically saying that if Vikrant were married he would understand the situation and that his wife Arambhi means everything to him. Vikrant thinks about how to manage the situation but decides that Dua will not participate in the competition no matter what.
Vikrant then asks Kumar to call the doctor and check Yuvi’s condition. If the doctor permits travel he plans to take Yuvi to Mumbai. Kumar informs him that Yashika has gone to prepare khichdi for Yuvi. Vikrant remarks that Yashika is not obligated to care for Yuvi yet she worries about him while Mannat never shows concern for anyone.
Vikrant believes that Mannat will never understand Yuvi’s unconditional love because such love cannot be fulfilled by everyone.
Yashika Meets Mannat
Yashika waits outside Mannat’s house and orders food from Dua’s kitchen. Mannat comes out with the food and is shocked to see Yashika. Yashika explains that Yuvi’s health deteriorated badly after eating golas which is why she came herself. She adds that she has heard a lot about Dua’s kitchen and that as a mother, she would do anything for her child.
Neetu Lie to Dua
Dua is feeding Neetu when Neetu asks her to agree to one thing to participate in the competition. Dua refuses saying that Vikrant has already removed her from the competition and even got Mannat arrested. She calls Vikrant a very bad person.
Neetu insists that Vikrant is actually a good person and that if she talks to him he will allow Dua to participate and will even start loving her. Neetu believes that because of Dua, Vikrant might forgive everything.
Dua says that she does not need to talk to Vikrant and does not care about the competition. Neetu reminds her that the competition was her dream, and that if she gives up now people will always misunderstand her. She encourages Dua to prove herself by participating.
Dua repeats what Mannat once told her Never stay where your respect is questioned. She adds that Vikrant behaved very badly with her Dhariya and Mannat.
Neetu then lies to Dua saying that Vikrant called and wants to meet her to apologize. She claims that Vikrant is a very good man and convinces Dua to come along. Dua agrees but says that she must inform Mannat first. Neetu stops her saying that no one should know yet. This will remain their secret and they promise not to reveal each other’s secrets. Dua agrees and leaves with Neetu.
Yashika Warns Mannat About Vikrant
Yashika tells Mannat that she struggled a lot to pull Vikrant out of his past and now they are happy in their life. She does not want anyone to disturb their peaceful world because first love is never forgotten.
Mannat calmly replies that if love humiliates you and gives lifelong pain it should be remembered as a lesson not as love. She assures Yashika that everything between her and Vikrant is over. They now know each other like strangers.
Yashika admits that she was scared that even a small spark could reignite old feelings especially for Yuvi’s sake. She adds that after marriage betrayal is more common from husbands. Mannat questions her experience and Yashika replies that she has loved and experienced love with her husband.
Mannat recalls Vikrant’s accusations and says that their relationship was based more on trust than love. In her family trust is valued above everything. She congratulates Yashika on her love and assures her that she will never come between anyone’s happiness. Shruti taught her to build homes not break them.
Mannat advises Yashika to return to Mumbai soon for everyone’s well-being. She wants Vikrant to stay happy with his family. Yashika reveals that Vikrant says the same thing. Mannat leaves.
Yashika believes that Mannat is happy with her family now and she will not let Vikrant come close to her again. Vikrant will move on and remain happy with Yashika. Yashika is clearly on cloud nine.
Neetu’s Plan To Meet Vikrant
Neetu secretly takes Dua to meet Vikrant. She believes that today she will reveal the biggest truth of her life that Dua is Vikrant’s daughter. After knowing this truth Vikrant will never let Dua go and their broken family will reunite.
Meanwhile Mannat believes that she and Vikrant were never meant to be together. She wishes him happiness with his family.
Mannat Growing Suspicion
Bunty sees Dua leaving and asks where she is going. Hearing this Mannat comes outside. Bunty and Dua lie to Mannat saying that they are just going out. Mannat takes both of them back inside the house.
Neetu prays that Mannat does not stop Dua from meeting Vikrant today because she only wants to reunite her family.
Yuvi asks Vikrant why Mannat was not sent to jail. Vikrant replies that Mannat was not at fault and that the real culprits have already been arrested. To cheer Yuvi up Vikrant plans a vacation.
Yashika brings khichdi and says that for Yuvi. Vikrant tastes it and immediately recognizes Mannat’s recipe. He recalls a memory where Mannat once cooked khichdi for him and they fed each other playfully.
Vikrant realizes that the khichdi was actually made by Mannat. Yashika is shocked that even after so many years Vikrant remembers the taste of Mannat’s food. Yashika dramatizes the moment and asks whether Vikrant thinks she did not make the khichdi. Vikrant says that the khichdi reminded him of his mother and home. Yashika adds that if he doubts her, he can ask the hotel staff to confirm. Vikrant apologizes to her.
Dua says that she is going out and that Neetu is waiting outside. She lies and says that she is going out to play. Dua secretly takes Neetu to meet Vikrant.
Precap: Dua brings Neetu to Vikrant. Neetu walks towards Vikrant with trembling steps and almost falls. Meanwhile Mannat searches for Dua anxiously unaware of the storm that is about to hit everyone’s lives.
