Today’s episode Rajini arrives at the chawl and claims she is deeply saddened after hearing about Anupama’s death. She pretends to be shocked, saying Anupama was a terrible woman, morally fallen and irresponsible, yet she adds that Anupama was once her friend. As she recalls the past she deliberately sheds tears. Rajini then says she wants to investigate whether the chawl fire happened accidentally or was deliberately set. Hearing this Rahi and Prerna are stunned.
The chawl residents coldly respond that whatever happened was good and that Anupama has finally received punishment for her karma. They declare that no one will take Anupama’s name again in this chawl. Rajini and the builder appear secretly happy. In her thoughts Rajini believes she has finally found peace convinced that Anupama and her image have been reduced to ashes.
Rajini’s Fear Begins to Surface
Sarita reveals that while dying Anupama kept taking Rajini’s name. Rajini nervously asks why Anupama would do that. Jassi says Anupama had warned that she would take revenge. Sairat adds that she performed pooja and rituals explaining that people who die such painful deaths often fail to attain peace and their souls wander and trouble others. Rahi adds that Anupama’s soul will not leave so easily. Even the chawl residents confess they too heard Anupama’s voice. Rajini visibly panics.
The builder reminds Rajini that it is time for demolition. Sairat declares that Rajini has won this place and that a new Nada Tower will rise here. However she warns her to be careful places marked by such deaths often carry a terrifying atmosphere. Jassi adds that even if the tower is built it will never sell once people learn it is haunted not even a single brick. The chawl residents ominously say Rajini will see Anupama’s face everywhere and hear her voice constantly. Terrified Rajini hears Anupama’s voice echoing in her ears asking Why did you kill me? She covers her ears fear clearly visible on her face.
Rajini Loses Control
Rajini angrily tells everyone to stop their nonsense promising she will not cheat them and will give everyone their flats. She insists Anupama betrayed them but she is not like her pleading that they do not curse her. Suddenly a white saree falls directly on Rajini’s face leaving her shaken. A pandit begins performing pooja. Rajini mutters that Anupama is dead and nothing exists here. As she raises a pickaxe to break the ground Anupama suddenly stops her.
Anupama Is Alive
Rajini believes she is hallucinating and asks if Anupama’s soul has not found peace. Anupama replies powerfully that souls never die but conscience and humanity do. Rajini convinces herself she is imagining things and murmurs that Anupama is dead. Anupama then reveals the truth she is alive. Rajini refuses to believe it saying Varun himself confirmed that Prerna survived and Anupama died. Anupama exposes that Varun told her only what Rajini wanted him to say. Rajini turns furious glaring at Varun and Bharti.
Rajini Trapped
Rahi announces that nothing happened to Anupama and that she defeated the demon Rajini. Rajini screams that everything was just a drama. Anupama explains that when straight methods fail one must bend the finger. She compares Rajini to Shakuni saying that just as Krishna played his divine leela she too had to play this game. Rajini fell into her own trap confessing everything out of fear. Rajini panics as Anupama declares that every curtain from her face, soul, and mind has been lifted she is completely exposed.
Prerna Varun Turns Against Rajini
Prerna says God gave everyone a mother but Rajini failed to be one earning disgrace in a mother’s name. Varun adds that instead of motherhood they received stains of crime accusing her of turning children into killers. Prerna says betraying a child’s friend and taking lives is the lowest act possible. Rajini insists she is their mother but Prerna responds that a real mother is like Anupama not Rajini. Rahi calls her a shame in the name of friendship, motherhood and womanhood.
Anupama’s Powerful Lecture
Anupama declares that Rajini had power, money and authority but her greed destroyed everything. She had no family or love but she even lost the power that was once hers. Anupama reflects that before death one wonders how much love they truly earned in life. She lectures Rajini on greed, humanity and love adding that Rajini wanted to kill her but God saved her at the right time otherwise Prerna would have died. She asks Rajini to think about what she was about to do to her own daughter.
Rajini’s Defiance
Rajini sarcastically claps mocking Anupama’s speech saying even she couldn’t give such a speech. She accuses Anupama of lying from head to toe claiming everyone here is foolish enough to believe her. She insists all accusations are false and reminds the chawl residents that Anupama herself signed the power of attorney without force. She accuses Anupama of creating a fake ghost story to trap her. Anupama laughs and so does everyone else. Rajini angrily asks why they are laughing.
Rajini Exposed
Anupama explains that earlier Rajini had instigated everyone against her but today the same people stand with her. She reminds Rajini that she betrayed them and today they returned that betrayal to expose her. In flashbacks Rahi reveals Anupama’s plan. Anupama had told the chawl residents she had solid proof against Rajini. She wanted Rajini to be exposed before the people first even before court so she could receive punishment from those she wronged. Anupama admits she once broke their trust but promised never to let it break again. Rahi pleaded for patience calling it their last request. Anupama assured them she would accept whatever punishment they decided.
Rajini’s Confession Video
Back in the present Anupama says today’s world is unsafe and blind trust is dangerous. Rajini betrayed her but even after that she didn’t expect Rajini to confess everything herself. Anupama plays Rajini’s recorded confession video. Rajini breaks into sweat as fear grips her. The builder and Rajini’s PA step back and abandon her. Anupama says before going to court Rajini must answer publicly.
Public Punishment
The chawl residents throw lemons and chillies at Rajini. Anupama explains these are usually hung outside homes to ward off evil and today they are thrown at Rajini so she never dares to look at this chawl again and so no evil eye ever falls on this place. Everyone begins taunting Rajini.
Anupama asks Rajini to sit on a chair and says Rajini was obsessed with this chair of power. But without public love and trust the wood of a chair and the wood of a funeral pyre are no different. Anupama reminds the chawl residents of her promise to show them Rajini’s real face and save the chawl. She apologizes for the pain they suffered because of her and asks for forgiveness.
The chawl Residents Apologizes To Anupama
The chawl residents fall at Anupama’s feet apologizing for doubting her. Sairat asks for forgiveness for their sin. Anupama lifts them saying mistakes were made on both sides. She admits she too signed papers without reading trusting Rajini blindly. She warns everyone to never sign legal papers without reading them even if the person is close. She adds that if the chawl residents hadn’t supported her today Rajini would never have been exposed. Anupama concludes that victory always belongs to truth.
Rajini Begs for Mercy
Prerna asks what punishment Rajini deserves. Varun says Anupama should decide. Rajini begs Anupama for forgiveness admitting her grave mistake. She tries to emotionally blackmail Varun calling him her son but he turns his face away. Rajini apologizes to Prerna, saying she thought Anupama was in the room. She begs Anupama for forgiveness and falls at her feet. The chawl residents insist she does not deserve forgiveness. Jassi suggests handing her to the police. Rajini pleads with Anupama to let her collect her belongings and leave the chawl. Sairat asks if Anupama will return.
Precap : Anupama warns Rajini that no matter the circumstances never break someone’s trust. Parag says if God leaves devotees follow. Vasundhara declares that no one will touch God’s photograph. Prem stops Parag. Rajini asks Anupama for a hug but Anupama replies that one who stabbed from behind once should not be given another chance.
