Today’s episode opens with tension already in the air. Anupama steps forward and says she wants to speak. Vasundhara remarks that Anupama never stays quiet anyway so she should just say what’s on her mind.
Anupama begins by saying how lucky Kriti is. She has Parag, Vasundhara as her support and a family that stands by her in difficult times and trusts her. Anupama points out how rare this kind of support is because in many homes even when someone speaks the truth no one believes them.
She then reminds everyone that Parag himself has said he will talk to a divorce lawyer. According to Anupama if Kriti truly has nothing to hide then there is no reason to be scared. She should speak openly about what is happening instead of staying silent. Parag agrees and says Anupama is right there is no reason to be afraid.
Anupama adds that fear only comes when someone has done something wrong. If Kriti is innocent then she should not be afraid at all. Anupama strongly suggests that Kriti should talk to a lawyer immediately and file the case. Once the police get involved a proper investigation will happen and the truth will come out who is actually harassing whom will be clear. Hearing all this Kriti starts to panic.
Kapil returns home and Anupama asks about his mother’s health. Kapil says that physically she is a little better but mentally she is completely broken.
Anupama tells Kapil that he must become his mother’s strength. She then explains everything that happened in his absence. She admits that she tried to use Kriti’s biggest fear against her the fear of losing her share in her parents property if there is a divorce. By bringing up the topic of divorce in front of everyone, Anupama tried to shake Kriti and push her into making a mistake.
Anupama believes that Kriti needs to be provoked in such a way that in anger or panic she will slip up and reveal the truth herself. Kapil agrees and says he will start collecting evidence against Kriti.
Just then Vasundhara notices Anupama and Kapil talking. Both of them are shocked to see her standing there.
Vasundhara Draws the Line
Kapil leaves and Vasundhara confronts Anupama. She points out that earlier Anupama was encouraging Kriti and now she is encouraging Kapil. Vasundhara asks Anupama which side she is really on.
Anupama calmly replies that she is on the side of the truth. She also mentions that she was only asking Kapil about his mother’s health. Vasundhara coldly says that she is just a guest in this house and a guest is like God but that does not mean she has to carry everyone’s sorrows. She asks Anupama to stay out of the family’s internal matters.
Anupama refuses to back down. Vasundhara then declares that she knows Kapil very well and believes Kriti is completely right. Anupama says that just like Vasundhara believes Kriti she also believes Kapil. Vasundhara shuts her down and says she does not need any lessons. She has already made her decision. Anupama warns her that decisions made without hearing both sides are often wrong. Vasundhara replies that in this house, only she makes the decisions and the Kothari family will follow them. She leaves making her stance very clear.
At the Shah house Toshu is busy boasting in front of Dilip. He claims he knows everything about the real estate business and calls himself the king of this field. Dilip praises him but Hasmukh feels Toshu is just making a joke of himself.
Toshu talks big saying he only deals in large restaurants and huge bungalows and doesn’t bother with small deals. He even shows off his business card. Just then Raja arrives and reveals the truth. He says Toshu helped him finalize a small one-room-kitchen deal, got him a decent rent, and also took his own cut from it. Sunil immediately points out the hypocrisy Toshu was talking about big deals but couldn’t even sell a small property properly. He also scolds Toshu for lying to his friends.
Hasmukh agrees and congratulates Raja. He introduces Raja as their son-in-law. Dilip recognizes him and says he is Parag’s nephew. Toshu then starts insulting Raja, saying Parag always praises him and claims that if he hadn’t married his daughter to Raja Raja would be nothing. Toshu even mocks Raja by saying he follows his father-in-law everywhere and now will probably go cook food too. Toshu’s friends are shocked and leave. Hasmukh scolds Toshu for his behavior. Toshu leaves with Raja to talk about the deal.
Hasmukh sadly reflects that some children never understand the value of elders. He also thinks about Anupama and wishes that there should never be any misunderstanding between her and her daughter.
Anupama’s to start Anu Ki Rasoi Again
Back at the Kothari house Anupama prays that Kapil finds the strength to bring the truth in front of everyone. She decides to try a new recipe and watches a video for guidance. She prepares food and jokes about how people in the country fight over languages instead of appreciating each other.
While cooking she tastes the dish and playfully scolds herself. Rahi enters the kitchen and asks why Anupama is speaking in English and smiling to herself. Anupama tells her she is trying a new recipe especially for her.
They share a light moment, laugh together and Rahi praises the food. Rahi then talks about how Anupama had started Anu Ki Rasoi in Mumbai but had to leave it when she came to Ahmedabad. She encourages Anupama to start it again saying there is no right or wrong time to restart dreams. Rahi reminds her that cooking and dance are her true passions and she should not stay away from them. She puts a chef’s cap on Anupama’s head and shows her reflection. Anupama becomes emotional. Rahi says she has Anupurna’s blessings and the support of the entire team. Anupama hugs her and promises that Anu Ki Rasoi will begin again.
Kriti’s Cruel Threats Push Kapil to the Breaking Point
Meanwhile Kriti confronts Kapil and demands a divorce. Kapil says he has been begging for six years and cannot take it anymore. He wants peace, not property or money.
Kriti makes her intentions clear.she wants her share of her parents’ property. She threatens Kapil saying she will prepare the divorce papers and file a false domestic violence case against him and his family. She warns that his mother and family will land in jail. Kapil reminds her that his mother is in the hospital and asks who will take care of her if he is arrested. Kriti coldly says she will see.
She even says that no one will question her because she is a woman and even if she hurts herself, everyone will blame Kapil. To prove her point, she picks up a lamp and hits herself. Kapil tries to stop her shocked by her actions.
Kapil breaks down falls at her feet and begs her not to file a false case. He says he will do whatever she wants. Kriti smirks and leaves clearly enjoying his helplessness.
Prem Rahi To Face New Storm
Prem and Prerna return. Prerna tries to talk but Prem says he doesn’t want to discuss anything. Prerna explains that Anupama means more to her than even her own mother that Rahi is her closest friend and she does not want to hurt them again. She thanks Prem for not telling Rahi anything yet.
Just then Mahi and Gautam see them together. Gautam starts questioning Prerna and Mahi adds fuel to the fire by asking about the trip and whether they only worked or did something else. Prem loses his temper and grabs Gautam by the collar warning him to mind his language. Mahi stops him. Gautam continues making cheap comments. Before things get worse Anupama and Rahi arrive and ask what’s going on. Gautam tries to stir trouble but Vasundhara arrives and tells Gautam and Mahi that since they are just guests they should look for another house to live in. They leave. Prem walks away angrily. Prerna avoids questions and leaves too. Anupama notices Gautam’s smirk and understands something is wrong.
Precap: Kriti gathers everyone and accuses Kapil of hitting her. Parag raises his hand in anger to hit Kapil but Anupama stops him. She shows everyone a video that exposes Kriti’s truth. The entire family is shocked. Kriti is left speechless.
Anupama firmly says that fear has no gender and injustice is wrong no matter who the victim is.
