Today’s episode begins with Mahid waiting for Usma. Seher looks tense. She says that if Mahid is angry with her he can scold her, taunt her,or even express all his anger but he should do it in one go so that both of them can find some peace afterward. Mahid sarcastically remarks that Seher considers herself very clever.
Just then Usma arrives. She asks Mahid why he called her there. Seher ask Mahid that is going to scold Usma as well. Usma then asks Seher if she has told Mahid everything. Seher replies that she hasn’t told him anything. Mahid senses that something is being hidden from him and asks what both of them are trying to hide.
Usma Confesses and Begs for Forgiveness
Usma finally breaks down and asks Mahid to forgive her. She admits that she made a huge mistake. She explains that her father refused to give money for her sister’s education and since it was the last day she panicked and did something wrong. She confesses that she stole Seher’s ancestral pin.
Mahid asks her how long she has been working in the house. Usma replies that it has been five years. Mahid says that in all these years she should have known that servants are not allowed inside the room. But Seher trusted her, liked her which is why she was allowed inside. He says Usma broke that trust and deserves punishment. He announces that he will call the police.
Seher Defends Usma
Seher immediately intervenes. She says that sometimes circumstances force people to commit mistakes. She explains that Usma did this because she wanted to complete her sister’s education.
Mahid responds harshly saying that education cannot justify theft. He says that if Usma’s father didn’t have money for her studies.she should have studied, worked hard and found a way instead of committing a crime and then hiding behind excuses. Seher replies that it was not education that forced Usma to steal but her situation. She says that when all paths are closed for a girl she is left with nothing. Usma had nothing to lose except her conscience. For the sake of her sister’s future she broke her own moral values. Seher also says that Mahid is wrong to believe that education ruins girls knowledge never destroys anyone.
Mahid asks if Seher is trying to say that Usma was right to steal. Seher says that what Usma did was wrong but what Mahid is doing is also not right. She says that calling the police will only make the weak even weaker. Just like intentions matter in prayers intentions should also be considered in sins. Mahid argues that crime and worship can never be compared. He says only the crime is seen not the reason. Otherwise, every criminal would explain their reasons and roam free instead of going to jail.
Seher points out that Usma is not arguing or attacking anyone she is standing there asking for forgiveness.
Mahid’s Final Decision
Mahid finally says that he will not hand Usma over to the police. But he orders her to pack her bags and leave Niyazi Palace. Usma leaves in tears. Mahid tells Seher that she should be happy because she managed to get a thief’s punishment reduced.
Pervez stops Kausar and checks her bag. He says she is going to Niyazi Manzil so happily so he will come along too and meet Seher. Kausar refuses saying she won’t go. Safia gets angry and says that after Seher’s marriage these two are really behaving like husband and wife, and something must be done to remove Kausar from their lives.
Sofia stops them and says Seher is also her daughter so she will go too. Pervez says there must be some reason and leaves with Sofia.
Seher Breaks Down, Missing Her Mother
Seher cries alone thinking that she wanted to tell Mahid about her dream of becoming a doctor and hoped he would support her. But she realizes that her dream cannot come true in this house. She cries missing her mother and runs downstairs in tears. Wasim sees her.
Husna thinks to herself that she worked so hard to welcome Zafar Ali yet Seher got all the credit. She decides she will teach Seher a lesson. She notices Seher running out in tears and wonders what happened. Seher sees Kausar and Pervez hugs Kausar and starts crying.
Kausar asks Seher what happened and says What you wanted is happening so why are you crying Husna taunts Seher saying that after meeting Kausar she is behaving as if she is being tortured in this house. Pervez greets Husna. Husna replies sarcastically. Kausar responds, saying that respect in one’s in-laws house is earned with great difficulty and taunts are often given. Husna says if taunts are given they should be answered too. They start arguing and Kausar is about to reveal Husna’s age. Husna looks confused. Pervez gets worried that Kausar might expose something and quickly diverts the topic by offering Husna sweets saying it’s a ritual to send sweets from the maternal home to the in-laws’ house. Husna tastes one.
Kausar gets scared thinking about the 10th-grade exam form she hid inside the ladoos for Seher.
Mahid Notices Seher Is Missing
Mahid notices that Seher is not in her room and thinks that Seher’s solution to every problem is running away. Wasim asks Mahid if he went to Afzal’s house for the work. Mahid then remembers that Usma had told him Afzal’s sister wanted to go to court and he had to meet the family to sort it out. He realizes that because of Seher and Usma’s issue he forgot everything. He tells Wasim that it slipped his mind.
Usman comes and also tastes the sweets. Pervez offers him one. Usman praises the ladoos and asks about Kausar’s health. Kausar says she is fine just worried about Seher which is why she came. Seher notices that her mother looks tense after seeing the sweet box. Kausar snatches the box from Pervez and says the person for whom the sweets were brought should taste them too. She gives the box to Seher. Usman agrees and asks Seher to take Kausar to her room. Pervez tries to stop it but Seher’s heart is full after seeing her mother and she takes Kausar along.
Amal’s Return
Fareed and Sultana return home and see Amal there. They inform the inspector that Amal has come back. Fareed hugs Amal and says he was very worried and searched for her everywhere. Sultana asks where she went. Amal replies that she was with Kausar aunty.
Sultana asks where they met and Amal says she met her outside and asks why Sultana is nervous. Amal then goes to her room. Sultana tells Fareed that they want to keep Amal away from Kausar but they are getting closer. She says that people connected by blood always find each other. Fareed says she is thinking too much. Sultana worries about what will happen if Kausar takes Amal with her. Fareed says he will never let Amal go to hell. He blames Sultana for bringing Kausar into their lives.
Kausar Support and Seher’s Determination
Seher hugs Kausar and says she thought Kausar was angry but she still came to meet her. Seher says she was right she cannot fulfill her dreams in this house. Mahid will never let her study.
Kausar tells her not to give up and not to change her dreams because of Mahid. She gives Seher the ladoos but Seher says she doesn’t want to eat. Kausar then gives her the 10th-grade exam form and tells her to focus on her studies and forget everything else.
Wasim tells Mahid to double-check the mosque’s financial files and hide the crucial papers.
Kausar tells Seher that she knows Mahid is becoming an important part of her life but she should forget everything else and focus only on her studies. Later Seher shows Kausar that she already has a 10th-grade exam form. She says I am your daughter and your purpose is my purpose too. Trust my intentions. I will become a doctor and fulfill our dream.
Precap: Kausar asks Seher to fill the exam form quickly. Seher starts filling it. Just then Mahid enters the room shocking both of them.
