Today’s episode begins with Abhira breaking down as she remembers how the court had handed over full custody of Maira to Armaan. One year later a desperate Abhira runs to the gates of the Poddar house throws them open and rushes inside hoping to see her daughter. However Armaan is standing right at the door and soon the entire family gathers there too.
Overcome with emotion Abhira falls at Armaan’s feet. She says she knows their paths have separated but she begs him not to keep her away from Maira. With folded hands she pleads that she is ready to accept any condition do anything he asks she just wants to meet her daughter.
Armaan helps her stand up but Abhira continues begging saying she is standing in front of him with her hands folded asking for mercy. Armaan coldly replies that mercy is shown to those who deserve it. He says he is not just angry Abhira’s selfishness has turned his heart to stone. He reminds her how Maira cried for her waited for her and shed tears but Abhira never came back when her daughter needed her the most. He says Maira has already suffered enough and now he cannot even bear to see tears in her eyes. He adds that if Abhira comes in front of Maira her face will only remind the her that her mother once left her and chose another child over her. He tells Abhira not to come here pretending she cares because the truth is she does not deserve to be called a mother. No matter how much Abhira cries or begs he will not let her come near Maira.Abhira says Maira is her daughter too.
Maira pushes Abhira away
Armaan replies that maybe she is but Abhira had left her so easily so why has she come back now? He says she will have to pay for this mistake. Through tears Abhira says she has already been punished she lost custody. She begs him again saying she has not seen Maira for one whole year. Armaan reveals that during this one year he made sure Maira never even heard Abhira’s name. If anyone mentioned her Maira would run away. He says Maira is now so scared that she cannot even bear to see her mother’s face. That is why he has taken a special court order Abhira is not allowed to meet Maira at all. Abhira is completely shocked.
Armaan says that when Abhira should have been with Maira she wasn’t. Now he will never let her come near his daughter.
In anger Abhira pushes Armaan aside and says she doesn’t care about any restraining order. She challenges him saying she will see how a piece of paper can stop her from meeting her own child. She is about to go inside when Maira suddenly comes out of the house.
Abhira sees Maira and immediately falls to her knees opening her arms to hug her. She showers her with kisses and asks her how she is. But Maira steps back in fear and pushes Abhira away then starts running.
A Terrifying Moment For Abhira
Armaan and Abhira both run after Maira. The child runs onto the road and a car almost hits her. At the last moment Armaan pulls Maira away and holds her tightly.
Abhira tries to go near Maira but Armaan stops her and says she must not touch her. He accuses Abhira of being the reason Maira ran away and almost met with an accident. He says she use to casting off the evil eye Maira’s many times a day so that no evil eye falls on her but today Abhira herself has become that bad omen. He says Maira is crying and terrified and Abhira is the reason. He tells her not to be so selfish and not to hurt their child anymore. If she truly wants Maira’s happiness she should leave.
With tears in her eyes Abhira asks Maira if she really doesn’t want to come to her. But Maira tells Armaan that she wants to leave because she doesn’t feel good here. Armaan takes Maira away leaving Abhira alone shattered and helpless.
In the present Abhira remembers all this and breaks down again saying she tried her best to talk to her daughter.
Vidya’s Harsh Truth
In a flashback Vidya meets Maira and asks how she is. She says she has come to see her even though she was told not to.
Vidya tells Abhira that Maira’s psychologist has clearly said Maira should never meet Abhira. Abhira is shocked and asks how that is possible. Vidya reminds her of their last meeting how Maira got so scared that she ran away from home and almost met with an accident. The psychologist has said that if Maira meets Abhira again she could go into severe trauma and might not be able to handle it emotionally.
Vidya says Abhira is desperate to meet her daughter but after meeting her Maira will suffer even more. She begs Abhira for God’s sake to stay away. Abhira asks how a mother can stay away from her own child. Vidya replies that a mother can even sacrifice herself for her child. If Abhira truly loves Maira she should never come in front of her again.
Back in the present Abhira wipes her tears and says she will never forgive the person who kept her away from her daughter. When the right time comes she will fight back take revenge and also reclaim her child. She challenges anyone who thinks they can stop her she will prove them all wrong.
Armaan’s Silent Worries
At the Poddar house Maira is checking her packing list and says she still has innerwear left to pack but she doesn’t know how to choose it alone. If someone goes with her they can help her pick.
Armaan comes in there She hides the list when Armaan comes and says nothing. Miara asks how her meeting went. Armaan says it was fine. Armaan says he has another meeting and asks her to tell him what she needs he will bring it for her. Maira jokingly asks him to bring snacks. Armaan laughs and says he will send a whole suitcase of snacks. They joke and laugh together. Armaan says they will have an ice cream party at night with the family. Maira happily agrees.
Armaan thinks to himself that at this age a daughter needs her mother more than her father to understand changes and talk about things. He wants to give her everything she needs but he knows there are some things he cannot understand. He secretly keeps her innerwear in her bag.
Abhira and Mukti’s Shopping
Elsewhere Abhira tells Mukti to get ready because they need to go to the market. Mukti asks what they need to buy. Abhira says some big girl things. Mukti says she knows she remembers Abhira had already told her about physical and hormonal changes.
Abhira adds that now she also needs to pay attention to her clothes. Mukti jokes but Abhira explains that this is normal and there is nothing wrong in talking about it. Buying new innerwear at this age is completely normal.
Mukti says she will buy with the girls in her new school. Abhira says she never got this so she will explain everything properly. She adds that talking about these things is necessary and every mother should talk about this with her daughter. If she doesn’t then who will?
Awkward Moments and Unseen Emotions for Maira
At the Poddar house Maira decides to order innerwear online. Just then Tanya, Kajal, Manisha and Vidya enter shouting Surprise Maira gets scared and drops her phone.
she tease her and say she looks cute and they should take her photos. Vidya notices the phone and realizes what Maira was looking at. Maira says she was just checking something. Vidya tells her that these things should not be bought online especially for the first time. Manisha also explains gently. Maira feels awkward and says she will handle it. Kajal says they are not worried but they will help her. Tanya says there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Vidya says they will go shopping first.
Meanwhile Abhira is buying innerwear with Mukti. Mukti suggests leaving but Abhira reminds her that she had already explained that all this is normal.
At the other shop Vidya, Manisha, Kajal and Tanya are also buying innerwear for Maira and she feels just as awkward there. The women notice her discomfort. Maira thinks to herself that she doesn’t like this and feels uneasy.
Abhira tells Mukti they will do the billing and then go for ice cream and accidently call Mukti Maira .Abhira asks Mukti if she is okay. Mukti says yes. Abhira feels relieved and thinks that just like Mukti Maira must also be growing up and this phase must be difficult for her too.
Maira Shocking Disappearance
Vidya asks Maira to try the clothes. Maira goes to the trial room but notices the exit door. After a while when she doesn’t respond Vidya goes to check and realizes Maira is not there. Everyone panics and starts searching for her.
Abhira lost in thought thinks that at this age a daughter needs the right guidance which she can only get from her mother. Talking to a father about these things can feel awkward. But she is not there for Maira. Mukti calls Abhira and asks where she is reminding her to pay the bill. Abhira says she was lost in thought.
At the same time we see Maira has come to the same shop where Abhira and Mukti are shopping. Mukti thanks Abhira for making her feel comfortable and says it’s true mothers are special. Maira hears this and thinks sadly that she doesn’t even have her mother with her.
Abhira also feels a strange emptiness thinking how helpless she is because she cannot be there for her own daughter.
As Abhira is about to leave she almost turns back and sees Maira but Mukti takes her away and they leave.
Precap: Kaveri says that once Abhira and Armaan were each other’s entire world but today they cannot even stand to hear each other’s names. She asks everyone to think about what went so wrong between them that they reached this point of separation.
