Following the massive box-office success and national debate sparked by its predecessor, the official trailer for “The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond” was released today, Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The sequel promises a more expansive narrative, shifting its focus from a single state to a nationwide look at controversial social themes.

Expanding the Narrative
While the first film focused specifically on events within Kerala, the trailer for the sequel reveals a broader canvas. The three-minute clip introduces stories spanning Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala, suggesting that the issues discussed are not localized but part of a larger pattern.

The trailer opens with a chilling voiceover warning about a potential future shift in India’s demographic and legal landscape over the next 25 years.

It then transitions into three distinct personal tragedies Rajasthan: A family fights for their 16-year-old daughter who was allegedly coerced into religious conversion.

Madhya Pradesh: A young woman discovers her marriage was built on manipulation and false pretenses. South India: A journalist’s live-in relationship takes a dark turn when faith becomes a point of violent confrontation.

New Cast and Creative Vision
The sequel features a fresh lead cast, including Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha. Notably, Adah Sharma, who headlined the original 2023 film, does not appear in this installment.

Directed by National Award winner Kamakhya Narayan Singh and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film aims to push the boundaries of the first movie. Shah stated that the script is backed by seven months of research into documented court cases.

“They targeted our daughters. They broke their trust… This time, we do not stay silent. The story goes beyond.” – Official statement from the makers.

Within hours of its release, the trailer has already divided social media. While many applaud the makers for “telling uncomfortable truths,” others have criticized the film for its provocative tone and potential for social friction.

Despite the sensitivity of the subject, the producers have assured the public that the shoot was completed peacefully under professional security measures. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 27, 2026. To know such latest updates tuned tellyboosters.com Thank you!
