Today’s episode begins with Narmada asking about the story behind the painted line drawn between the two houses. Dheeraj explains that the root of this division goes back to their grandmother. In a flashback Radha division goes back to their grandmother. In a flashback Radha is seen requesting Mahadev to purchase the land near their house and construct another home there. She emotionally tells him that ten years have passed and she has not been able to see Vidya freely and wholeheartedly. If a house is built directly opposite Bhanu Masi’s home she would at least be able to watch her daughter and grandchildren grow up from a distance. Even if she cannot be physically close she could still bless them while seeing them laugh and live happily.
Mahadev agrees to Radha’s emotional request. Dheeraj continues explaining that Mahadev built the house opposite Bhanu Masi’s residence but that decision became the beginning of a daily conflict that has never truly ended.
Satya adds that the major turning point happened two years ago. A very large delivery order was scheduled to arrive at their house. In the flashback a tempo truck is parked outside. Bhanu angrily questions the driver about why the vehicle is blocking the space. The driver politely says he will move it once Mahadev arrives.
When Bhanu learns the tempo belongs to Mahadev she becomes furious. Even before Mahadev reaches the spot she scratches his car in anger. The driver immediately calls Mahadev and informs him. Mahadev rushes there and tries to stop Bhanu but she insults him publicly. She warns him that if any vehicle from his house is ever parked in front of her home again the consequences will be worse.
In extreme anger she sets Mahadev’s car on fire. Mahadev and his family are left completely shocked.
Radha scolds Bhanu for causing such a massive loss over a small issue. She admits that it was her suggestion to build the house there and Mahadev is not at fault. Bhanu mocks Mahadev questioning how he could be so naive to listen to such advice. She taunts that if his status is rising to match hers he should be prepared to pay the price. She even threatens to make arrangements so that such a mistake never happens again.
Radha folds her hands apologetically toward Mahadev who stands there furious yet silent.
Bhanu then brings paint and pours it across the road drawing a visible dividing line. She declares that one side belongs to her family and the other side belongs to what she cruelly calls an orphaned family. She announces that no one from either side will cross that line again.
Narmada Realizes the Depth of Pain
Back in the present Narmada apologizes to Ketan for previously judging him for not speaking openly to Mahadev about their relationship. She admits she never imagined how much suffering they have endured in their lives. Dheeraj clarifies that while not everyone suffered equally Ashish and Kamakshi went through significant hardships. Ketan too struggled in his own way. Unlike Dheeraj and Priya who were born into comfort and privilege Ketan had to face emotional battles. Being the youngest son most of his wishes were fulfilled which may have made him slightly spoiled. Perhaps that is why he often argues with Mahadev openly.
However everyone knows that Mahadev loves Ketan deeply. In fact the love Mahadev has for him is far greater than what Ketan expresses.
Narmada Emotional Hug Vidya
Vidya and Narmada come face to face. Unexpectedly Narmada hugs Vidya tightly. Vidya is shocked by this sudden emotional gesture.
Narmada tearfully apologizes. She acknowledges how much Vidya and Mahadev have endured in their lives yet despite everything, they have kept their family united and strong. She prays to God to give her the same strength to maintain harmony in the household. She also expresses hope that her relationship with Ketan becomes as beautiful and solid as Vidya and Mahadev’s bond. Vidya smiles gently.
Mahadev arrives. Narmada respectfully touches his feet and expresses gratitude. She says only someone who has performed good deeds in life is blessed with a father-in-law like him. She thanks him for giving her a place in the family. Mahadev remains silent.
Mahadev’s Concern
The next morning everyone is surprised when Narmada begins the aarti herself. During the ritual, she apologizes to Vidya for not waiting for her and offers her the aarti plate. Vidya asks her to complete it explaining that an aarti should not be interrupted midway.
After the puja Vidya notices Mahadev seems worried. When she asks him what is troubling him he says it is nothing significant just thoughts about work. Vidya reminds him that Mahashivratri is approaching and suggests organizing a Rudra Abhishek this year. Mahadev hesitates. He explains that Rudra Abhishek is a large event and requires preparation. Considering Dheeraj’s health is still unstable and the police investigation has not reached a conclusion he suggests postponing it until next year. He leaves and Narmada notices Vidya’s disappointment.
Narmada’s Clever Strategy
Narmada approaches Vidya and asks if she can help with arranging the Rudra Abhishek. Vidya says Mahadev has already refused permission.
Vidya teasingly says that she and Mahadev are one team while the rest of the family is another team. Narmada responds that she does not see it that way everyone is part of the same family. Vidya questions why Narmada placed a tilak on her forehead during the aarti earlier. Narmada explains that in matters of God there are no teams everyone is equal. Rudra Abhishek is also a devotional act, so they can perform it together. Vidya agrees but wonders how they will convince Mahadev. Dheeraj is impressed by Narmada and Ketan feels proud of his wife.
Vidya’s Emotional Move Forces Mahadev to Agree
In the evening Mahadev returns home and calls out to Vidya asking for tea. Vidya refuses and follows Narmada’s suggestion telling him to ask his son or daughter-in-law for tea instead. Mahadev says he is used to drinking tea made only by Vidya in the evening.
Vidya then pretends to make a phone call asking someone to book a room in Rishikesh Ashram. Mahadev is confused. Vidya dramatically announces that she will move to Rishikesh permanently so Mahadev can perform all the worship he desires without interruption. If needed she will ask her educated daughter-in-law to manage the household. Mahadev quickly clarifies that he only suggested postponing the Rudra Abhishek due to Dheeraj’s health. Seeing Vidya’s emotional reaction he finally agrees to organize the Rudra Abhishek this year.
Vidya becomes extremely happy and declares that along with Valentine’s Day they will celebrate Rudra Abhishek as well.
She playfully scolds Narmada and Narmada responds that she only helped convince her mother-in-law. Vidya teasingly says Narmada has no official place in her team. Narmada smiles and replies that she is not asking for a place that was simply her commission.
Precap: The inspector arrests Yash. Vidya demands to know who filed the FIR. It is revealed that Mahadev lodged the complaint because he suspects Yash attacked Dheeraj.
Inside the jail a police officer beats Yash. Bhanu breaks down in tears in front of Rajji. Rajji confronts Mahadev and accuses him of using Dheeraj’s condition as an excuse to take revenge.
