Today’s episode begins with both the Mahadev and Bhanu families celebrating Holi together. The atmosphere is lively and festive. During the celebration Dheeraj notices Rajji looking upset and lost in thought. He approaches her and jokingly says that today he will not tease her especially because it is probably her last Holi in this house. After marriage she will celebrate Holi at her in-laws’ house.
Rajji becomes angry and says that it might seem like a joke to him but her life is already ruined and everyone appears to be enjoying it. Dheeraj responds that he was only trying to save her from a difficult situation earlier and tells her that after marriage she should enjoy life and remain happy. He continues teasing her which makes Rajji even angrier.
Rajji warns him firmly that whether she celebrates Holi this year or not he must remember one thing if he comes near her in the name of applying colors she will not spare him. She angrily asks him to leave.
Narmada Feels Hurt
Meanwhile Narmada tries to apply colors to Ketan and playfully asks him to stop resisting. Ketan tells her that he was resting because of her earlier disturbance but that does not mean he is ready to play Holi. Narmada asks if he is upset about something.
Ketan replies that he simply does not like playing Holi. Narmada jokingly says that he turned out to be a very boring person but assures him that she will bring colors not only into his Holi but also into his life. Ketan becomes irritated and raises his voice at Narmada. He says that just because she wants something does not mean everything must happen according to her wishes. Not every decision in life can be based on what she wants.
Narmada becomes emotional and reminds him that this is their first Holi after marriage, yet he is shouting and arguing with her. Ketan responds that she stretches every small matter unnecessarily. He firmly tells her to listen carefully he does not play Holi and everyone in the family knows this including Mahadev. Narmada is deeply upset after hearing this.
Mahadev and Vidya the Holi Celebration
Elsewhere Mahadev tries to apply color to Vidya first but Vidya cleverly applies color to him before he can do it. Mahadev laughs and says that every year she manages to apply color to him first but this time he will not spare her.
Vidya runs away playfully while Mahadev chases her. Eventually Mahadev catches her and applies color to her face. After that they both encourage the family members to begin the Holi celebration.Soon everyone starts applying colors to each other and enjoying the festival.
While everyone celebrates Narmada watches them from a distance and becomes emotional. Dheeraj notices her sadness and asks what happened. Narmada tells him about her earlier argument with Ketan. Although she initially tries to ignore it Dheeraj asks her if she has thought about what she should do next.
Narmada Forces Ketan to Play Holi
Narmada finally decides that she will not give up. She throws water on Ketan and picks up colors to apply on him. Ketan repeatedly warns her not to come near him with colors but she does not listen.
She forcefully applies color on Ketan’s face which makes him extremely angry. He starts shouting at her drawing everyone’s attention. Ketan reminds her that he had clearly told her he does not like Holi. He then reveals the real reason behind his hatred for the festival. During childhood some boys applied chemical paint on his face which caused severe skin blisters. Since then Holi has been a painful memory for him and that is why he avoids it.
Narmada explains that the colors she brought are organic and safe and she encourages him to let go of the fear he has carried in his heart for years. However Ketan becomes even more furious.
Mahadev Punishes Narmada
Vidya tells Narmada that Ketan clearly does not like playing Holi so she should stop forcing him. Narmada argues that a wife has the right to insist with her husband especially when it is their first Holi together.
She points out that Mahadev and Vidya are still celebrating Holi joyfully even after so many years of marriage so why should she not apply color to her husband?Mahadev then steps forward and tells Narmada that she crossed a line and she made a mistake by forcing Ketan and a mistake deserves punishment. To everyone’s surprise Mahadev’s punishment is completely unexpected. Instead of scolding Ketan further Mahadev suddenly applies color to Ketan’s face himself. He then encourages the rest of the family members to do the same.
One by one everyone applies colors on Ketan and the tense situation slowly turns joyful. Mahadev then hugs Ketan warmly. Ketan asks Priya to bring colors and finally he himself applies color to Narmada making everyone happy.
After the moment passes Mahadev and Vidya talk privately. Vidya says that it feels wonderful to see Ketan playing Holi after so many years.
However she also admits that the real mistake was theirs. If they had done what Narmada did today many years ago Ketan might have overcome his fear earlier. For years he used to lock himself inside his room every Holi and that pain could have been avoided. Mahadev agrees that Vidya is absolutely right.
Antakshari Challenge
Soon after Mahadev and Vidya go to Radha to take her blessings and wish her a happy Holi. One by one other family members also seek Radha’s blessings. Vidya then asks Narmada to take Radha’s blessings as well but just then Bhanu arrives and interrupts.
Bhanu warns radha not to become emotional and while giving blessings . She reminds them that every year the Bajpai and Mahadev families compete in an Antakshari competition and this year she is confident that her team will win again. Dheeraj responds that overconfidence is not good and this year their team even has a new member so they are confident about winning.
Bhanu sarcastically remarks that first he should make her a proper member of their family and only then talk about joining the team.
Antakshari Competition Begins
The Antakshari competition begins. Mahadev sings the first song while Vidya supports him. Bhanu then sings and performs confidently. Later Narmada and Ketan perform together singing and dancing during their turn.
When their song ends the other they begins counting down because Bhanu’s team cannot recall a song immediately. Just when it seems they might lose a man suddenly arrives and sings a song saving Bhanu’s team.
Dheeraj asks who the man is. Bhanu introduces him as Baldev her close friend and soon-to-be business partner. She says that Baldev sang on behalf of their team and asks if anyone has a problem with that.
Baldev wishes everyone a Happy Holi and Mahadev warmly welcomes him saying that since he is a guest on the festival day he should definitely join the celebration. Bhanu then takes Baldev to her house.
Bhanu Secret Plan Against Mahadev
Once they are alone Bhanu comments that Mahadev and his family seem extremely proud. she says he wants to do something that will completely shatter Mahadev’s pride forever.
Baldev confidently claims that it is an easy task for him. He also observes that Mahadev’s house is located in a very valuable area. Bhanu replies that she knows Baldev always keeps his eyes on profitable opportunities. Baldev admits she is right and reveals his plan he wants to demolish Mahadev’s house and build a shopping mall there.
Bhanu agrees saying she also wants Mahadev to learn a harsh lesson as soon as possible. Baldev assures her that she should not worry. For now they should let the Mahadev family enjoy Holi but soon they will wipe away the colors from their faces and their happiness as well.
Bhanu becomes pleased after hearing his plan.
Precap: Bhanu plans to use Rajji as a pawn and attack Mahadev through Vidya. Meanwhile Dheeraj and Rajji secretly get married with Vidya’s help.
When they arrive home as husband and wife Mahadev is shocked and slaps Dheeraj. However Dheeraj promises that he will win back Mahadev’s trust and prove that his love and decisions will never fail.
