Today’s episode begins with Seher telling Mahid that he needs to control his weakness and his anger. She explains that if he doesn’t control it the pain inside him will continue to grow. According to her the only way to release this pain is through counseling.
Mahid responds by saying that no one dares to speak about his illness in front of him, but he appreciates that Seher talks about it openly and directly with him.
Husna Invites Parvez with Hidden Intentions
Later Husna calls Parvez. She tells him that Ramadan is about to begin and she wants him to bring Sheri for Seher. She sarcastically says that after getting Seher married off they are now sitting peacefully with their feet stretched out.
Parvez agrees and says that he will definitely visit their house. Husna then insists that he must bring Kausar along because she likes her a lot. Parvez nods and ends the call. After cutting the call Husna says that her accounts with Kausar are still unsettled.
Fatima comments that they are probably expecting a gift but wonders what they could possibly bring. Nazima asks Husna why she asked them to bring gifts saying that they will definitely bring cheap items which she wouldn’t even touch. Husna replies that this is exactly what she wants. She plans to let them bring Sheri and then humiliate them so badly that their ears will bleed from the insults.
Wasim Suggests Removing Seher from the House
Wasim interrupts and says that humiliating them will achieve nothing. According to him people who have no honor cannot be insulted. He says Seher’s parents are ordinary people so targeting them will not bring any benefit.
Instead if they want to do something they must target Seher. Wasim says that Seher has started using her mind too much and it has become necessary to remove her from this house. Nazima questions Wasim’s sudden change in attitude because just yesterday he himself sent Mahid and Seher out together.
Husna says she is also confused about this because when she was shouting about Seher earlier was trying different tricks to remove her but the Seher still seems stuck in this house.
Wasim then reveals that there is one way to get rid of Seher. He says they must make Mahid realize that Seher is the biggest obstacle in his path to becoming a Mufti.
Mahid Defends Seher
At that moment Mahid overhears the conversation and asks who is standing in his way. Wasim answers that his biggest obstacle is his own wife Seher. Mahid asks why Wasim is putting such baseless accusations on Seher. He explains that after great difficulty he had gathered many Muftis in one place so they could discuss his abilities and support him when the time came for him to become a Mufti. However Wasim claims that Seher drove them away and no one knows what they must be thinking now.
Husna adds that Mahid would have been better off remaining unmarried than marrying Seher because she cannot tolerate anyone creating obstacles in Mahid’s progress. She insists that Mahid should listen to them and throw Seher out of the house. Mahid strongly disagrees and says that he has never seen a girl more intelligent than Seher. He also says Wasim is blaming her unfairly because she actually saved him from danger.
Mahid then reveals that a woman had entered the haveli the previous day wearing a red bridal dress the same dress his mother Gazala once wore. The woman deliberately came in front of him and tried to disturb him causing him to lose control. He explains that Seher removed everyone from the haveli to hide his condition and therefore everyone should be grateful to her.
Husna questions why anyone would have such hatred toward Mahid. Mahid replies that someone definitely does and the most shocking part is that the person knew Gazala was his biggest weakness. That person also knew how deeply he hates seeing his mother in a bridal dress.
Seher interrupts and asks why Mahid keeps digging into the matter repeatedly because it will only worsen his health. Husna becomes defensive and says she is not saying anything against him he is her son not her enemy. Seher clarifies that she never said that and was only trying to make sure his health does not deteriorate. Mahid insists that until he finds the woman who looks like his mother he will not find peace. He says he has already informed the police about the incident.
Seher silently thinks that Mahid should not have revealed everything because the person behind the attack could be someone inside the house. Mahid notices her silence and asks if she is alright. She says yes and both of them leave for their room.
Husna Forces Seher to Prepare the First Sheri
Husna stops Seher and reminds her that she is the daughter-in-law of the house. Since Ramadan is about to begin tradition requires that the first Sheri must be prepared by Seher herself. Seher agrees to follow the tradition.
However Husna secretly plans to ruin the Sheri so badly that all the influence Seher has gained over Mahid will disappear.
Safia and Parvez Argue
Meanwhile Safia complains to Parvez that she is already exhausted from household work and now he expects Seher to prepare Sheri for her in-laws as well. Parvez says he is not worried about Sheri but about Kausar. He points out that Seher’s in-laws always ask about Kausar and now they also have to take Sheri to Seher’s in-laws but he does not know what they will bring.
At that moment Kausar suddenly arrives shocking both Parvez and Safia. Parvez angrily asks where she had been and tries to hit her but he ends up hurting himself instead. Kausar warns him not to even try touching her. She then demands to know what he did with her daughter and where she is.
Parvez pretends to be confused and says her daughter is already married. Kausar clarifies that she is not talking about Seher but about her second daughter the one Parvez claimed died at birth without even letting her see the child’s face. Parvez lies and says the baby was indeed born dead and he buried her.
Kausar Threatens Parvez
Kausar refuses to believe him and demands to know where he buried the child. Parvez claims that so many years have passed that he no longer remembers the place and asks why she is digging up old graves.
Kausar warns him that if her suspicion turns out to be true she will not spare him. She says that he wants to become a close associate of Mufti Usman but she will ensure that Parvez is publicly humiliated with a garland of shoes around his neck. Parvez becomes worried and thinks that if Kausar discovers the truth about the child he will be ruined.
He quietly leaves without reacting while Sofia questions why he tolerated such insults. Kausar boldly declares that she will not leave this house until her account with Parvez is settled.
Seher Suspicious
Later Mahid notices that Seher has brought Sheri food into their room. He asks why she has brought food there.
Seher explains that she does not want anything to go wrong with the Sheri especially after what happened during the Walima when the charity food was ruined. Mahid says that he still believes someone deliberately ruined the Walima charity food and it was not Seher’s fault. Seher says that this is exactly why she is taking extra precautions this time.
Mahid tells her to return the food to the kitchen but Seher stops him and gram-flour paste falls on mahid face seher laugh and says that this is just a gram-flour paste which is good for the face.
Mahid playfully applies the besan paste on Seher’s face teasing her While moving around Mahid nearly bumps into the food utensils but Seher pulls him away and both of them fall onto the bed.
Seher Suspects Mahid‘s Family
Mahid says Seher is being unnecessarily suspicious but she argues that he is trusting everyone too easily. She tells him he should not have revealed the haveli incident in front of everyone because someone might misuse that information. Mahid asks if she suspects his family members.
Seher replies that it is possible because only his family knows about his emotional weakness connected to his mother. No outsider would know how deeply he reacts when he sees his mother in a bridal dress.
Mahid refuses to believe that his own family could betray him saying that after his mother’s death these very people raised him and cared for him. Seher clarifies that she is not trying to turn him against his family but she once heard Kausar talking secretly on the phone with a woman who mentioned placing a sword in the haveli.
She insists that she is only revealing the truth whether he believes it or not is his decision. Mahid still believes his family cannot be his enemies.At that moment Usman arrives and says he needs to discuss something important with Mahid so Mahid excuses himself and leaves.
Meanwhile Husna asks Sofia to taste the Sheri that will be taken to Seher’s in-laws. As Sofia tastes the food Kausar secretly steals Sofia’s phone without anyone noticing.
Kausar Calls Seher and Breaks Down
Later Seher goes to the kitchen to knead flour when she receives a call from Kausar. Seher asks if she is alright but Kausar becomes emotional and says she misses Seher terribly. Since Seher left she has felt completely alone. She recalls that whenever she got angry Seher would always comfort her.
Kausar then asks her that Ramadan is about to begin and is the responsibility of Sheri has been placed on her. Seher explains that it is a family tradition that the daughter-in-law prepares the first Sheri.
Kausar also asks whether she is focusing on her studies because her exams are near. Seher reassures her that she prepared throughout the year and only needs to revise so she will definitely score good marks. Kausar warns her not to lie about her studies and Seher promises that she is telling the truth.
Finally Kausar says she will bring Sheri the next day herself so Seher can focus on her studies and then ends the call.
Husna’s Dangerous Plan
After the call Husna secretly mixes a sleeping pill into Seher’s drink. She says to herself that after drinking it Seher will not wake up in time for Sheri ensuring that she fails in her responsibility.
Seher unaware of the trap continues worrying about Kausar while Husna offers her the drink.
