Today’s episode starts with Disha taking blessings from Kaveri. Suddenly Disha’s dupatta accidentally slips from her head which makes the situation awkward. Disha immediately apologizes to Damayanti and Kaveri for the mistake.
Manisha tells Disha that there is no need to say sorry saying these things happen sometimes. Damayanti comments sarcastically saying it seems like Manisha is only watching Disha.
At that moment Armaan asks everyone to sit down. Manoj notices that Mamta is still standing and asks her to sit but the atmosphere already feels uncomfortable.
Manisha questions servants for bring lemonade with cheese. However Disha’s father says that he would prefer lemonade only. He explains that he does not like cheese because in their home they usually eat simple and traditional desi food.
Armaan becomes confused because Manisha had earlier asked the staff to bring coffee yet lemonade suddenly appears instead. At that moment Armaan sees Abhira and understands everything. Vidya also notices Abhira. Just as Disha is about to drink the lemonade Vidya suddenly stops her and suggests that she should eat something else instead.
Damayanti taunts them and the situation Damayanti tense again. Manisha gets frustrated but Armaan quickly changes the topic to handle the situation. He asks Aryan and Disha how they first met.
Aryan and Disha’s Love Story
Aryan is about to explain that they first met at a wedding. He begins narrating that during the wedding they were playing Antakshari and Disha sang a song which he really liked and that was the moment he started liking her.
Meanwhile Manisha asks Damayanti that she carries Pandit Ji everywhere she goes.
Damayanti and Manisha’s Argument
Damayanti gives a strong reply. She says that she takes Pandit Ji along because they belong to a traditional family. She further explains that in respectable families daughters-in-law and daughters stay in modesty and boys and girls are not allowed to wander freely outside. She says that Pandit Ji decides the auspicious time for marriages and families follow those traditions.
Manisha becomes irritated and asks whether Damayanti has aerophobia saying that people who are afraid of flying never let others fly either. She even sarcastically asks whether Damayanti has ever visited a therapist.
Aryan quickly interrupts and says that Manisha is just joking. He then tells Damayanti that since Pandit Ji is already here they should ask him to find the wedding date.
Damayanti Asks About Armaan’s Wife
Suddenly Damayanti asks Armaan where his wife is. Armaan becomes shocked by the unexpected question. She explains that Aryan told her that Armaan’s daughter studies in a hostel but she wonders where the child’s mother is especially when they are discussing the marriage of Armaan’s younger brother.
Armaan is about to tell the truth but Aryan quickly lies and says that she has gone out. However Armaan refuses to lie. He says that the foundation of lies is very weak and relationships built on lies can collapse at any time. Manoj intervenes and says that Armaan’s wife is at home but she is unwell. Tanya adds that she has a cold and they did not want anyone else to get infected so she stayed in her room. Armaan becomes shocked hearing this explanation.
But Damayanti insists that she must meet Armaan’s wife and only after that will Pandit Ji decide the wedding date.
Abhira Tries to Avoid the Guests
Meanwhile Abhira says she needs to bring some items from the garage but she does not want to face Aryan’s in-laws through the main door. So she decides to leave through the balcony.
While trying to climb down Abhira almost slips and falls. At that moment Armaan arrives and quickly holds her hand. Abhira asks him not to let go of her hand. Armaan pulls her towards himself to save her and both of them fall together. For a moment they look into each other’s eyes and get lost in that moment.
Armaan Requests Abhira
Armaan asks why she was leaving through the balcony like a thief. Abhira explains that she only wanted to bring something from the garage and did not want Aryan’s in-laws to see her.
Armaan tells her that Damayanti has demanded to meet his wife and he cannot force her to act in a lie if she feels uncomfortable. But Abhira says that even though she feels uncomfortable she can still pretend to be his wife if it helps Aryan.
Family Worries About the Truth
Meanwhile Aryan suggests that until Armaan comes they should ask Pandit Ji about the wedding date. But Damayanti refuses saying that Pandit Ji will not decide anything until he sees Armaan’s wife.
Manisha blames Manoj’s lie for putting Aryan in trouble. Manoj defends himself saying he lied only for Aryan’s sake. Sanjay says that they have insulted Abhira before so he believes she will never agree to this drama. Tanya argues that they are underestimating Abhira’s goodness. Kajal worries that Aryan’s heart will break because Abhira will not come.
Even Kaveri becomes anxious and in frustration she accidentally pushes saline stand. Madhav quickly helps her and asks if she is alright.
Armaan Brings Abhira Downstairs
Soon Armaan walks downstairs with Abhira beside him. Aryan and Disha feel relieved and happy while the Poddar family is shocked.
Disha’s thanks Abhira. Aryan proudly introduces her and saysThis is my sister-in-law Abhira.
Abhira Agreed To Pretend To Armaan Wife.
In a flashback we see Armaan telling Abhira that he will explain everything to Aryan and she should not worry. He says he had only come to inform her about that.
However Aryan and Disha looked at him with such desperate pleading eyes that he could not refuse them. They are scared that if their families do not approve they might lose each other. Armaan questions why people become so desperate for love especially when true love might not even exist. He says he is going to tell Disha’s family the truth.
But Abhira stops him and says she is ready to pretend to be his wife.
Damayanti Questions Abhira’s Marriage
Back in the present Damayanti notices that Abhira is not wearing sindoor or mangalsutra. She says that a daughter-in-law represents the reality of her marital home and asks whether this house feels like Abhira’s maternal home or her in-laws’ house.
Abhira respectfully covers her head with her pallu and touches Damayanti’s feet. She calmly replies that home is wherever your loved ones are whether it is your maternal home or your marital home. She then asks Damayanti whether she built these beliefs herself or even after so many years of marriage she still failed to win people’s hearts. Abhira explains that life is meant to be lived not to win over others. She confidently says that she definitely lives in everyone’s hearts sometimes as love and sometimes as a source of irritation.
Damayanti asks whether the family truly respects their daughter-in-law. Abhira looks at Kaveri and replies that when a husband stands beside his wife even the walls of the house start respecting her. She says whenever a raise on her voice her husband supported her. She admits that no marriage is perfect so she will not show them a fake picture of her marriage. But she also will not discuss their problems because she and Armaan keep their private matters private.
Abhira Believes in True Love
In another flashback Armaan asks Abhira whether she is sure she can do this drama. Abhira confidently says yes. Armaan asks why she is doing this. Abhira replies that she is doing it for Aryan and Disha’s true love.
Armaan argues that true love does not exist. Abhira disagrees and explains that true love means placing someone before yourself waiting for each other and not fearing the world together. Armaan asks how she knows this. Abhira quietly replies that she once loved someone truly. She says just because she did not receive her love does not mean others should not get theirs. She adds that she does not know what will happen in Aryan and Disha’s story but she will definitely help them try to achieve their true love because she still believes in love.
Wedding Date Finally Decided
Back in the present Damayanti congratulates the Poddar family announcing that Pandit Ji has found an auspicious wedding date just seven days away. Everyone becomes happy. Aryan and Disha take blessings from Kaveri and the family members congratulate them.
Damayanti then asks Armaan and Abhira to feed sweets to each other. Armaan feeds a sweet to Abhira. But just as Abhira is about to feed Armaan Vidya interrupts them and says she needs to speak with Armaan privately. Damayanti notices this interruption carefully.
Vidya’s Secret Plan
Vidya tells Armaan that he has already started this drama with Abhira but he should not forget that Maira will also come for Aryan’s wedding. If Maira sees them together how will he handle the situation then?
Vidya admits that she does not have all the answers but she believes there is one solution Armaan should send Abhira back to her home in Wakad.
Precap: Armaan tells Maira about Aryan’s wedding date. Maira becomes excited and says she will come home immediately.
But Armaan stops her and says she cannot attend the wedding. Maira suggests Mukti’s a idea she and her mother can come to the wedding venue and there they can continue their matchmaking mission by introducing her mother to Armaan.
