Today’s episode begins with Armaan and Abhira receiving outfits from Manisha. Abhira says that her outfit is exactly the same as Armaan’s and because of that she does not want to wear a matching outfit with him.
Manisha explains that right now they both have only one goal in their lives to pretend to be a husband and wife in front of Damayanti. Therefore they will have to wear matching outfits. Abhira tells Armaan that if dhe likes her outfit she will wear it and ask him to wear something else. She even asks him to buy something new for himself. Armaan replies that Manisha has specially got this outfit made for him so he will wear the same one. Soon the two start arguing again and begin fighting like little kids.
Manish sees them arguing and scolds them. He tells them that the real game is about to start so they should quickly get ready.
The Engagement Function Begins
Soon everyone gets ready and gathers for the engagement ceremony. Manisha tells Damayanti that she personally selected the outfit for Disha. Damayanti replies that someone as beautiful as Disha does not need too much decoration. She adds that Aryan looks even more charming today because she made him ready personally
Damayanti then asks Abhira to perform Aryan and Disha’s tilak ritual. Abhira thinks to herself that in this fake drama even the rituals have to be performed as if everything is real. She hesitates for a moment but finally agrees. Just when Abhira is about to apply the tilak Damayanti suddenly holds her hand.
Damayanti Questions Abhira
Damayanti says that sindoor is a symbol of marriage, devotion and a woman’s marital pride so where is Abhira’s sindoor? Abhira becomes completely shocked.
Damayanti then notices that Abhira is not wearing a mangalsutra either. She says she noticed it yesterday as well but stayed quiet because Abhira was unwell. However today she will not ignore it. She directly asks where Abhira’s sindoor and mangalsutra are.
Abhira quickly lies and says that she is allergic to sindoor so she cannot apply it. Damayanti responds that even if sindoor causes an allergy the mangalsutra should still be worn. She then asks whether Armaan never questioned her about it. Abhira says that Armaan did question her and because of that she is not wearing the mangalsutra. Everyone present there becomes shocked. Damayanti asks what she means.
Abhira explains that Armaan had asked her to keep the mangalsutra safely with her but he himself failed to keep it safe which is why she is not wearing it now.
Damayanti’s Ring Solution
Abhira then suggests that Tanya should perform Aryan’s tilak since she is Aryan’s sister-in-law. However Damayanti firmly says that only the elder daughter-in-law of the family can perform the tilak.
Manisha tells Abhira to just complete the ritual. She says that even if she is not wearing sindoor or mangalsutra it should not matter. But Mamta interrupts and says that it is considered inauspicious if a married woman does not wear symbols of her husband’s long life and people believe it can shorten the husband’s lifespan. Damayanti then suggests another solution. Even if there is no sindoor or mangalsutra Abhira can at least wear a ring and they will treat it as a symbol of marriage.
Armaan immediately says that he is not walking around carrying a ring in his pocket to make Abhira wear it. Damayanti insists that a ring must be worn.
Kaveri Gives Her Ring to Armaan
At that moment Kaveri removes the ring from her own finger and gives it to Armaan. Armaan says that the ring belongs to her. Kaveri replies that it actually belongs to Abhira because Abhira has every right over what belongs to Armaan. She tells Armaan to give Abhira the ring.
Armaan takes the ring and looks at Disha and Aryan. Just when he is about to make Abhira wear it Vidya suddenly stops him. Vidya says that Armaan cannot make Abhira wear the ring right now. Damayanti becomes suspicious and asks whether something is wrong either with their intentions or with their relationship.
Vidya quickly denies it and says nothing is wrong. She explains that Armaan will definitely make Abhira wear the ring but in their family tradition a game is played before the ring ceremony.
Vidya Plans a Game to Avoid Suspicion
Vidya brings Armaan and Abhira to the stage. Quietly she tells them that the game is only an excuse. She whispers that they must either lose the game or somehow lose the ring because Armaan can not makes Abhira wear the ring even if it’s the fake act
Abhira and Abhira play the game.
Armaan will use a slingshot to shoot a flower at Abhira and Abhira must try to avoid it. If the flower hits Abhira Armaan wins and he will make her wear the ring. Aryan requests them to play the game. Damayanti becomes very excited and encourages Armaan telling him that if he wins he will make Abhira his again.
Armaan and Abhira exchange silent looks.
Miara Arrives at the Poddar House
Meanwhile Miara arrives at the Poddar house. She wonders why Aryan’s engagement has such grand decorations that look more suitable for a wedding. She thinks that if she had not come she would have missed such a huge celebration.
Inside Armaan keeps trying to hit Abhira with the flower using the slingshot while Abhira keeps trying to avoid it. Miara meets Poonam who tells her that her family is going to be completed now. Miara becomes confused hearing this.
Armaan Makes Abhira Wear the Ring
While playing the game Armaan and Abhira suddenly remember their own wedding and the vows they once took. During the game and both of them become lost in their memories. Finally Armaan manages to hit Abhira with the flower and wins the game.
Damayanti immediately announces that now Armaan must make Abhira wear the ring. Armaan and Abhira stand face to face. Armaan slowly extends his hand and Abhira hesitantly gives her hand to him. Armaan then puts the ring on Abhira’s finger.
Abhira becomes emotional at that moment.
Just then Miara enters and sees Armaan and Abhira sharing this emotional moment. She becomes shocked and remembers her painful past.
Precap: Damayanti asks Abhira whether Miara is her daughter. Abhira nod and calls out Miara’s name. Miara becomes upset and runs out of the function while Armaan and Abhira follow her. Damayanti declares that the engagement rituals will continue only after Abhira, Miara and Armaan return.
