Today’s episode starts with Anupama asking Digvijay if he is fine. She calls Banku. Banku comes to help Digvijay and suggests that he should call a doctor but Digvijay says he is fine and makes an excuse.
Anupama asks Digvijay to take the aarti but Digvijay refuses. He says that he does not get peace from prayers and does not believe in God anymore. He tells Anupama that if she wants to console herself through all this she can do it but she should not ask him to participate and warns her that he does not want to hear such things again. Anupama thinks that Digvijay must be deeply hurt which is why he has lost faith in God. Banku says that he is worried about Digvijay but Anupama asks him not to worry and says that God will make everything right.
Anupama then asks what festival is being celebrated today. Banku tells her that it is Gudi Padwa and says that Digvijay will not stop them from celebrating. He adds that Jaya will also enjoy it. Anupama asks Banku what special food his mother makes. Banku says that his mother cooks puri and sweets and Anupama promises that she will cook for him after returning from Jaya’s school.
Pari Behaviour Change Toward Rahi
Rahi serves vrat food to the Kotharis and says that even if they do not celebrate Navratri they can still eat the food. Pari refuses and says that she will not even touch such oily food. Meeta agrees with her.
Raja brings the food that Pari had ordered from outside. Rahi says that she did not know Pari was on a diet otherwise she would have made salads for her. Pari responds that she has to deal with big celebrities and must take care of her health and questions why Rahi feels bad when she always supports her. Rahi clarifies that she only meant that whatever Pari wants to eat can be prepared at home and homemade food is healthier than outside food. Meeta interrupts and says that not everyone can eat oily food for breakfast and there should be no argument over this.
Vasudhara steps in and declares that no one will eat packed food and Pari will eat what is cooked at home. Rahi thinks that Pari is behaving strangely and wonders if it is because she has started earning more money.
Anil arrives and says that Parag had called and needs signatures on some papers. Khyati asks about Parag’s condition and whether she can speak to him. Anil says that he tried asking about Parag’s well-being but Parag disconnected the call as if he does not want to talk about anything except work. Khyati gets upset. Rahi consoles Khyati saying that Parag will return soon.
Digvijay’s Broken Life
People in the society are preparing for Gudi Padwa when Digvijay walks out of the house and accidentally steps on the rangoli.
Some women complain that he ruined the rangoli while a man tells them not to say anything because his life is already ruined. He explains that Digvijay neither laughs nor talks just goes out for morning walks and then locks himself inside the house. Another person says that Digvijay used to be a good man but everything changed after the saavi accident
A couple greet digvijay and tell him to buy bread Saavi used to buy bread from there and her cafe was wonderful and adds that when Saavi was there life felt alive but now his house feels completely empty and sad.
Anupama Finds a Job Opportunity
Anupama and Jaya return home. Anupama accidentally bumps into a man and a pamphlet falls down. Digvijay unknowingly helps anupama she sees a housekeeping job poster and decides to apply. She goes for the interview and waits while also worrying in celebrating the festival jaya might upset Digvijay. She prays that nothing goes wrong.
Meanwhile Jaya is playing when her ball goes into Digvijay’s room. She secretly enters the room to get it and finds Saavi’s diary which she takes with her.
During the interview the manager asks Anupama questions. She confidently says that she can handle all responsibilities. The manager agrees and allows her to bring Jaya along as long as no guest faces any inconvenience. Anupama gets the job and feels happy. She thanks God and prays for the person who helped her find this opportunity.
Ansh’s Emotional Breakdown
At the Shah house Ansh is emotional because it is Pranshi’s first Navratri. He had made a frock for her but it was returned to him.
Leela says that prarthana is no longer in this world and Pranshi is not his child but Gautam’s daughter and asks him to forget her. Hasmukh questions how a father can forget his own child. Leela insists that one must forget pain and move forward in life and says that before she dies she wants to see Ansh happy so she suggests finding a girl for his second marriage.
Hasmukh is shocked by her words. Leela throws the frock and tells Ansh to forget Pranshi. Ansh breaks down emotionally and says that Pranshi is his daughter and he will never forget her and promises to bring her back. He leaves. Leela asks Jassi to make Ansh understand that he needs to move on while Jassi looks worried.
Saavi’s Diary Reveals Her Dream
Anupama returns home happily. Banku asks if she got the job and she says yes. She celebrates by dancing with Banku and Jaya but Digvijay enters and everyone goes silent. He leaves and locks himself inside.
People comment that he has locked himself again and will suffer like this while others say that he does not react to anything anymore. Anupama notices Saavi’s diary in Jaya’s bag. Meanwhile Digvijay is desperately searching for it. Anupama checks the diary and asks Jaya why she took someone else’s belongings. Jaya stays silent and then admits that she saw butterflies on it and could not resist taking it.
Anupama is shocked to learn that it belongs to Saavi who used to follow her recipes. She reads Saavi’s bucket list and discovers that Saavi’s biggest dream was to open her own café. Saavi wrote that her inspiration was Anupama and she wanted to create Indian fusion food just like her. She dreamed of working hard becoming famous and one day inviting Anupama to her cafe and serving her food.
Anupama becomes emotional and regrets that she never got a chance to meet Saavi. She realizes that this is why Digvijay could recognize the taste of her food and feels that she unknowingly already had a connection with Saavi.
Digvijay Gets His Daughter’s Diary Back
Digvijay panics and says that he cannot live without Saavi’s memories and will die if the diary is not found.
Anupama understands that the diary is more precious to him than his own life. Jaya apologizes but Anupama says that they cannot keep apologizing for mistakes like this and explains that touching someone’s belongings without permission is wrong. she worries about how Digvijay will react and decides to return the diary.
When Digvijay gets the diary back he becomes emotional and asks where she found it. Anupama honestly tells him that Jaya had taken it and she apologizes to him.
Precap: Anupama says that she has got a new job today and will restart her life again comparing her life to a computer that she will keep rebooting. She begins working as a helper at a hotel. Meanwhile Paul arrives at the hotel to meet Rosy and he is shocked to see Anupama there.
