Today’s episode begins with Anupama telling Digvijay not to punish Jaya harshly for her mistake. She says she will scold Jaya herself so that she never touches anyone’s belongings again without permission. Anupama requests Digvijay to give Jaya one chance explaining that if she were his own daughter he would have handled the situation with love and patience. She emotionally asks him to forgive Jaya for her sake.
Anupama then apologizes to Digvijay and Jaya also says sorry for taking the diary. She realizes her mistake and decides to punish herself by doing sit-ups. Seeing this Digvijay recalls Saavi and gets emotional. He stops Jaya and tells her not to repeat the mistake again before leaving.
Digvijay Breaks Down Remembering Saavi
Digvijay goes to his room sees Saavi’s diary and becomes emotional. Meanwhile Jaya hugs Anupama and apologizes. Anupama reflects on how a father’s pain for his daughter is deeply emotional and recalls Anuj. She says that earlier there was hope of reunion but in Digvijay’s case that hope no longer exists.
Digvijay reads Saavi’s diary. In the diary Saavi writes that she loved the cafe the most and dreamed of opening her own cafe. Digvijay becomes overwhelmed and says that it feels unfair when children leave their dreams incomplete for their parents. He refuses to fulfill her dream saying the cafe holds her love memories and hard work. He believes no stranger can ever love the café the way Saavi did.
Anupama and Digvijay Talk About Pain and Guilt
Anupama realizes that Saavi considered Digvijay her inspiration for opening the cafe She watches her own old video and remembers Samar becoming emotional. She says losing Samar was the biggest loss of her life.
Digvijay blames fate for taking his daughter away and says a father who has lost his child cannot learn to smile again. Anupama responds that even mothers learn to live with pain and continue raising their children. She explains that life gives pain without reason, but people must learn to live with it.
Anupama responds that even a mother learns to smile again while raising her children despite pain. She tells him that guilt and grief are very dangerous companions and can destroy a person. She insists that both must leave this house. Digvijay admits that his guilt is unbearable as Saavi left him behind. Anupama thinks digvijay should come out of this guilt.
Prerna Spots Gautam’s Secret
Elsewhere Prerna arrives early and waits for Prem. She considers informing Rahi but then notices Gautam with another girl. She assumes he is cheating on Mahi and decides to inform Prem but hesitates thinking it is a family matter.
When Prem arrives Gautam hides and secretly records Prerna and Prem. Gautam believes Prerna is pretending to be brave but is actually scared and he plans to use that fear against her.
Gautam Blackmail Prerna
Gautam later confronts Prerna and shows her the video of her with Prem. Prerna calls him shameless and accuses him of cheating on Mahi and attempting to blackmail her. She predicts he will try to defame her by questioning her character in front of the family.
Prerna boldly says that neither Prem nor Rahi will fall into his trap and challenge him to reveal the truth. Gautam warns her that even if the video doesn’t work her feelings for Prem are obvious and will eventually be exposed. He claims that Rahi will notice how Prerna looks at Prem with love. Prerna is shocked and leaves.
Anupama Motivates Digvijay to Restart Life
Anupama tells Digvijay that it is time to move on from guilt. Digvijay says he wants to meet Saavi and feels life is meaningless without her. He even says it is easier to leave life than to live with guilt.
Anupama firmly replies that she will hold onto life more tightly. Digvijay says death is the only cure for his pain but Anupama says that learning to live with pain itself becomes the cure. She encourages him to see this as a new beginning just like restarting a computer. She shares that even Prarthana’s loss was fate not anyone’s fault and now that she has a new job she is ready to restart life.
Leela’s Podcast Creates Trouble
Leela and Hasmukh interview a blogger named Chandrika. Ishani confirms that the blogger came willingly and was even paid.
However Leela questions her in a way that sounds insulting asking why there is no road named after her father despite his wealth. Chandrika gets offended saying she came for positive promotion but feels insulted.Hasmukh tries to cover up saying it was a joke.She leaves the podcast angrily. He scolds Leela reminding her that the podcast is their source of income and her behavior could ruin everything.
Anupama Helps Jaya with Homework
Anupama praises Banku for bringing fresh vegetables. Jaya asks Anupama for help with her homework. Anupama admits she doesn’t know English but Jaya insists they help her or she will be punished.
Anupama and Banku start helping her though they struggle with English.
Rahi and Prem’s Emotional Moment
Rahi works hard while Prem shows her an invitation where Anupama’s name is listed as head chef. Rahi feels proud seeing her dream come true.
Prem credits Rahi for always supporting him when he doubts himself. Rahi confesses her love and they share a hug. Prem admits he misses Parag and feels his success is incomplete without him. Later Prem reflects that Rahi is under immense pressure managing home, job and family yet she handles everything perfectly. He also realizes that they hardly get time together anymore.
Prem says that although he loves their child he is not ready for more responsibility right now and wants to spend quality time with Rahi first.
Digvijay Softens Towards Jaya
Jaya again asks for help with homework saying she needs answers in English. Digvijay overhears and agrees to help her. While helping he remembers Saavi.
Jaya thanks him with a hug leaving everyone surprised. Banku tells Anupama that after years he has seen Digvijay speak so lovingly to a child. Anupama feels hopeful and says once his guilt fades his true goodness will shine.
