Today’s episode begins with Dheeraj advising Ashish telling him that he should move on in life. Ashish responds emotionally saying that his tears are not just because he misses Madhu but because she refused to recognize him in front of her husband. He adds that even if she had introduced him as just a friend it would have been enough but instead she completely ignored him which hurt him deeply.
Dheeraj tries to make him understand explaining that sometimes people are forced into marriages and spend their entire lives maintaining those relationships under compulsion. He says that maybe something similar is happening with Madhu. He asks Ashish to put himself in Madhu’s place if she had shown even a little emotional connection towards him her husband might have become suspicious which could have created problems in her life.
Dheeraj further reflects on relationships saying that some relationships end completely while others remain incomplete forever and such stories are often called incomplete love stories. He tells Ashish to end this chapter here as he cannot bear to see him crying like this. Dheeraj hugs Ashish then goes to bring water, and Ashish finally agrees.
Mahadev’s Anger and Family Concerns Rise
Later Mahadev finds out that Dheeraj has gone to bring water using a pot. He gets angry and questions Ashish. Ashish explains that he was feeling dizzy so Dheeraj went instead. Hearing this both Vidya and Mahadev become worried.
Mahadev expresses concern that Dheeraj might break the pot while Vidya defends him saying that Mahadev always blames Dheeraj unnecessarily and that he is actually very responsible. She adds that one day Mahadev will realize this. Meanwhile the Vishwa men are shown secretly following Dheeraj hinting at danger. An announcement is made for the palki race. Mahadev says that the race can begin at any moment and everyone should gather soon otherwise they will be left waiting for Dheeraj. He criticizes Dheeraj calling him careless and irresponsible saying he never arrives on time and doesn’t understand the meaning of responsibility.
Rajji overhears this conversation and calls Dheeraj. However Dheeraj speaks to her angrily which makes Rajji upset. At the same time the countdown for the race begins creating tension about whether Dheeraj will be able to participate or not. Just in time Dheeraj returns with water, and everyone feels relieved.
Dheeraj Gets Injured
Mahadev asks Ashish to run the race with him but Vidya points out that Ashish is feeling dizzy. Mahadev then asks Keta but he refuses with excuses. Eventually it is decided that Dheeraj will run with Mahadev although Mahadev suspects something is going on.
As the race begins Dheeraj participates but gets injured during the run. Seeing this Rajji steps forward and takes Dheeraj’s place shocking everyone present. With her help Mahadev win the race. Bhanu, Vishwa and Yash are all shocked to see Rajji supporting Mahadev. While Mahadev’s family celebrates the victory Rajji appears visibly unhappy.
Bhanu and Yash React to Rajji’s Decision
Yash expresses anger saying that Rajji has chosen her Mahadev family over her own family and in doing so they have lost not just the race but everything. He bitterly remarks that the girl of their house has now become the daughter-in-law of another house.
Bhanu however refuses to believe this completely. She says she knows Rajji well as she raised her like a mother and believes that although Vishwa may be shaken he is not broken. She vows that Rajji will take revenge.
Bhanu Humiliate Mahadev Publicly
The announcer declares Mahadev’s family as the biggest winner of the festival as they have won the most awards including the Best Family Award. Mahadev is called on stage and invites Vidya to join him.
Just as they are about to receive the award Bhanu interrupts and asks to speak before the celebration. The committee allows her. Bhanu delivers a shocking speech saying that Mahadev should thank his family for his success as everything he has achieved is because of them. She reveals that her father once picked Mahadev from the streets and gave him a home food and identity. She accuses Mahadev of betraying their family by eloping with Vidya. She further claims that Mahadev’s success is because of Vidya and without her he would have been nothing. She then draws a parallel accusing Dheeraj of trapping Rajji in love just like Mahadev did with Vidya.
Bhanu states that the race was won only because of Rajji and sarcastically congratulates both families. She calls Rajji on stage, making the situation even more emotional. Yash mocks Rajji while Bhanu taunts her suggesting that she may forget her old relationships just as quickly as she ran the race. Rajji becomes emotional and Mahadev is deeply hurt.
Mahadev Rejects the Award
Unable to bear the humiliation Mahadev refuses to accept the trophy. Vidya tries to convince him saying that the family has won it but Mahadev says they should never have come to the festival. He feels insulted in front of the entire city and leaves angrily. Vidya asks the family to take the trophy home and follows Mahadev saying she cannot leave him alone.
Vidya and Rajji Share Emotional Conversation
Vidya later speaks to Rajji saying that being caught between her maternal home and in-laws is painful and she has been enduring this struggle for the past 25 years. She understands Rajji’s pain. She admits that the marriage was forced but if it hadn’t happened there would have been chaos in Rajji’s maternal home. Now even after marriage there is conflict in her own home.
Rajji says that until last year she used to play for Bhanu’s team and was trained by them and today she won but by helping another team which has upset them. Vidya reassures her saying she sees truth and goodness in Rajji and she should not lose it.
Dheeraj Acknowledges Rajji’s Contribution
Dheeraj tells Rajji that if she hadn’t stepped in at the right moment they would not have won the trophy and she deserves equal credit. He asks her to come on stage but she initially refuses saying she never intended to participate. Dheeraj goes alone but Rajji eventually joins him.
Dheeraj Attacked by Vishwa’s Men
Later Dheeraj goes to thank the secretary Satya who asks him to wait. Suddenly Vishwa’s men surround Dheeraj and attack him. He fights back but one of them hits him on the head and he becomes unconscious.
Meanwhile Rajji, Satya and Priya wait for him. When he doesn’t return and his phone is unreachable Rajji sends Satya and Priya home and decides to search for him.
Rajji Discovers Danger as Fear Grows
The attackers take Dheeraj to Vishwa. Vishwa says that Dheeraj should have understood that this was his doing Vishwa declares that today he will kill him. Dheeraj insults and challenges him despite his condition.
Rajji while searching meets the secretary who tells her that Dheeraj never came to him. Her fear increases when she finds Dheeraj’s phone and sacred thread lying on the ground. She senses something terrible has happened.
Precap: Dheeraj and Rajji try to escape but Vishwa points a gun at Dheeraj and declares that this is Rajji’s freedom. He fires at Dheeraj who falls unconscious. Rajji is left shocked crying out his name in despair.
