Today’s episode begins with Dheeraj saying that Mahadev’s anger will eventually fall on him Vidya and the entire family. He tells Rajji that after everything she is free to go back to her home if she wants.
Rajji replies that she doesn’t even like him but she is not ungrateful. Since he saved her life she will repay that favor by keeping his secret safe. She extends her hand and clearly says that neither of them owes anything to the other anymore his saving her life and her keeping his secret makes them equal. Dheeraj agrees and shakes her hand.
However both of them immediately clarify that they are not interested in each other which leads to another argument between them.
Vidya and Narmada Shocked Seeing Dheeraj and Rajji Together
Dheeraj and Rajji return home together on his motorbike. Vidya and Narmada are shocked to see them as they comment that two people who couldn’t even tolerate each other are now arriving together on a bike. Vidya however feels happy seeing this unexpected change.
Later Rajji asks Vidya she can sit and eat with everyone while she serves food. Everyone gets surprised. Rajji questions why they are reacting like that. Vidya explains that she is used to eating only after serving everyone else.
Narmada adds that things were different earlier but now she is the mother-in-law of two daughters-in-law, so these responsibilities should be shared. Vidya then looks at Mahadev and asks if she can sit and eat with the family. Instead of answering directly Mahadev shows her a photo of a girl and says that this is a marriage proposal for Ashish. Everyone becomes happy after seeing the photo. Rajji notices Dheeraj’s reaction and feels happy.
Vidya’s Advice Rajji
The next day Vidya advises Rajji not to tie her wet hair in a towel as it won’t dry properly. Rajji recalls how Bhanu used to say the same things and smiles. When Vidya asks the reason Rajji says that even Bhanu used to tell her the same things the only difference is that Bhanu used to scold her while Vidya speaks with love. Even after 25 years of separation a mother’s concern remains the same.
Vidya explains that values and traditions pass from one home to another and from one generation to the next. Then Vidya notices that Rajji is not wearing her mangalsutra. She gently explains that even though the marriage happened under difficult circumstances and may feel like a formality the mangalsutra is not just a piece of jewelry or a showpiece. It is a sacred thread that binds two people in a marriage. The black beads are believed to protect the couple from evil. She adds that even if they don’t talk much in difficult times they will stand together if she respects this bond.
Vidya requests her to wear it but makes it clear she won’t force her. Rajji agrees saying that if it is important to Vidya she will wear it and never remove it. Vidya and Narmada feel happy.
Ashish’s Alliance Discussion Begins
Vidya and Mahadev leave to meet the girl’s family for Ashish’s marriage proposal. Narmada gives them curd and sugar as good luck.Bhanu notices this calls Rajji questions about why everyone in her in-laws house seems so happy.
At the girl’s house Mahadev and Vidya tell Arpita’s family that they like her. Arpita’s mother suggests that they should have brought Ashish along so the two could meet.
Bhanu’s Sudden Entry Creates Tension
Suddenly Bhanu arrives there shocking Mahadev and Vidya. Meanwhile Satya hires a photographer and tells him that if he clicks good pictures he will get a contract. The photographer starts taking pictures of Ketan and Narmada.
Back at the meeting Arpita’s family praises Bhanu and mentions they’ve heard that Mahadev and Vidya don’t share a good relationship. Bhanu diplomatically says that every family has conflicts but when something important happens all differences are set aside and the family stands united.
Vidya tells Bhanu to come aside but Bhanu refuse and responds that when it comes to children’s future one forgets everything and shows up.
Bhanu Manipulates the Situation
Bhanu encourages the family to proceed with the wedding saying that Mahadev and Vidya are good people and don’t demand dowry. She then asks if they have seen Ashish’s photo and pretends to show Arpita’s photo again.
She describes Ashish as very simple and says Arpita is lucky. She requests that Mahadev and Vidya must be invited to the wedding and that she should also be allowed to be part of it.
Arpita’s father raises concern about Mahadev’s other sons having eloped marriages. Bhanu adds fuel by saying that while love marriages are common trapping girls from wealthy families and running away is wrong. Mahadev admits that it is true his sons married against his wishes and eloped.
Bhanu Reveals Ashish’s Past
Vidya tries to defend Ashish saying he is very simple. But Bhanu drops a shocking truth Ashish was in love with a girl but she left him and married someone else. After that heartbreak he started drinking.
She further insults Mahadev saying parents pass down qualities to their children and claims Mahadev has passed a serious flaw to all three sons. She reveals that Mahadev was once a servant in her house and that her father had given him shelter, food, and respect. Yet Mahadev trapped Vidya in love and eloped with her.
She warns Arpita’s family to investigate properly or else Ashish might also run away one day leaving Arpita waiting. After saying all this Bhanu leaves.
Mahadev Feel Humiliated
Vidya feels deeply hurt and humiliated. Arpita’s father rejects the alliance and even returns the shagun plate. Mahadev and Vidya are left insulted and heartbroken.
Precap:Bhanu calls Mahadev outside and accuses him of starting theft along with his rice mill business. She claims that Dheeraj has stolen her jewellery leaving Mahadev shocked.
