Today’s episode begins a few months later with the host introducing Salgonda village in Goa where a cycling race is about to take place. He talks about the race and announces that the winner will receive a ₹10,000 prize. The host also reveals something surprising for the first time a woman is participating in the race and that woman is Anupama.
The crowd becomes surprised on seeing Anupama. Some people start discussing her and make comments that cycling is not easy and not everyone can do it.
Anupama Prepares for the Race
The race begins and Anupama gets ready to ride the bicycle. Jaya cheers loudly for Anupama and supports her from the side.
Anupama becomes determined that no matter what happens she has to win the race.
At the same time a flashback is shown. Anupama remembers how she tried to sell her homemade food but no one bought anything from her stall. She also remembers trying to find a job but she could not get any work anywhere.
Meanwhile Jaya thinks about her life and feels emotional. She thinks that everyone has both a mother and a father but she only has a mother-like figure in Anupama and no father. Anupama remembers how she had called Devika earlier and asked when she would return because six months had already passed and Jaya keeps asking about her.
Devika explains that she has unexpectedly become trapped in a legal issue because of which her passport and bank accounts have been frozen. She feels guilty that she cannot take responsibility for Jaya’s happiness at the moment.
Anupama Moves Ahead in the Race
Back in the present the host comments that Anupama is riding very slowly. Meanwhile Jaya tells Anupama that she wants to go on a picnic. Anupama looks at the prize money and promises Jaya that she will definitely send her to the picnic. Soon Anupama starts speeding up and moves ahead in the race leaving everyone behind.
Paul Cheats and Anupama Falls
Anupama is about to win the race but suddenly Paul interferes with her bicycle causing her to fall down. Anupama is shocked after falling. Jaya becomes worried about her. Some women from the crowd come forward and help Anupama stand up.
Jaya asks Anupama to file a complaint against Paul but Anupama refuses to complain.A woman nearby tells Anupama that Paul never lets anyone win and also does not allow anyone to set up stalls in the area. After hearing this Anupama decides that she will simply ignore Paul.
Jaya Takes Care of Anupama
Anupama feels pain after the fall. Jaya asks if she can apply medicine to her injury. Anupama lovingly tells her that only Jaya will apply the medicine and then she will feel better. Jaya carefully applies the medicine.
Anupama apologizes to Jaya for not being able to win the prize money for her picnic. Jaya immediately says that it is actually good because she did not really want to go to the picnic, calling it boring. However’Jaya looks restless.
Jaya Shares Her Feelings
Anupama notices Jaya’s mood and asks what is wrong. Jaya reveals that during the race she saw one of her friends cheering with both her parents and it made her feel jealous. She says that although she has Devika and Anupama she still wonders why she does not have a complete family.
Anupama gently explains that a family is not counted by the number of people in it but by the amount of love shared. She reassures Jaya that even if Devika is not there right now she herself is with her.
Anupama’s Determination for Jaya
Anupama sends Jaya to go and play but reminds her to return on time. After Jaya leaves Anupama worries that Jaya’s childhood should not become sad. She realizes that although Jaya never insists on anything this time she is determined to send Jaya on the picnic.
Anupama then receives a reminder to take her medicine. While looking at her family photograph she thinks that Pranshi has already turned seven years old.
Pranshi, Ansh and Rahi’s Moment
Meanwhile Ansh is playing with Pranshi. Preet arrives and surprises Pranshi, and they all begin playing together. Ansh thanks Rahi for bringing Pranshi. Rahi replies that he should thank Pranshi instead for coming. Pranshi smiles happily whenever she is around Ansh so they decide to call Anupama.
When Anupama sees Pranshi on the video call she becomes emotional and says how much she has grown. Rahi reminds her that Anupama had already spoken to Pranshi in the morning. Anupama comments that Pranshi now looks like Prarthana which suddenly makes Pranshi start crying.
Gautam’s Shocking Entry
Anupama talks briefly with Preet and asks Ansh if everything is fine at home. Ansh replies that things have changed a lot since Preet came. Suddenly Rahi and Ansh become shocked on seeing Gautam. Rahi quickly cuts the call telling Anupama that she will call later.
Gautam angrily accuses Rahi saying that he has seen many people who steal jewelry from their in-laws, but she has crossed the limit by stealing a child. He snatches Pranshi away from Rahi. Rahi tries to explain that the baby belongs to Ansh and Prarthana not to him.
However Gautam declares that Pranshi is his daughter and warns Ansh to stay away from her. He also taunts Ansh for having Preet on his side. Before leaving with Pranshi, Gautam warns Rahi not to bring the child to the Shah house again.
After he leaves Rahi tells Ansh that Gautam cannot stop them from meeting Pranshi and whenever they want to see her they will simply call and bring her home.
Sneha Warns Anupama About Paul
Later Anupama is cooking when Sneha visits her and brings food. Sneha asks whether Paul won the race by cheating. She also says it is good that Anupama did not create a scene because most women avoid confronting Paul. Anupama remembers her past when she used to fight strongly for what was right.
Sneha then invites Anupama to the temple for the installation of the Radha Krishna idol which excites Anupama. Before leaving Sneha warns her to stop Jaya from going near Saavi Villa saying that the place is very dangerous. Before she can explain the full story, she receives an urgent phone call and leaves.
Jaya Enters the Mysterious Saavi Villa
Meanwhile Jaya is playing cricket with her friends. The ball accidentally goes inside Saavi Villa. Jaya decides to go inside to retrieve it. Her friends try to stop her and warn that a ghost lives there.
Jaya confidently says that Anupama always says ghosts do not exist and she goes inside despite their warnings. At the same time Anupama reaches the temple and gets the opportunity to perform the first aarti.
While she is praying Paul and his men arrive near the temple. Anupama notices them but chooses to ignore them. The priest asks Anupama to distribute prasad to everyone and while doing so she comes face-to-face with Pal.
Paul Threatens Anupama
Paul tells Anupama that she has only recently come to the area and is already trying to become successful. He warns that this is his territory and he will not allow her to run any business there. He threatens her by saying that today he only made her fall from the bicycle but tomorrow he could remove her from the world entirely.Paul advises her to leave the city.
Anupama calmly replies that she cannot leave because she has the responsibility of Jaya. Paul sarcastically suggests that she should take Jaya with her and go. Anupama says that once Jaya’s mother returns she will leave the city herself and will not give him any reason to complain.
Paul responds that she will soon see what he is capable of and then leaves. Anupama becomes worried.
Anupama Saves Jaya at Saavi Villa
Soon Jaya’s friend runs to Anupama and informs her that Jaya is trying to enter Saavi Villa. Anupama rushes there and sees Jaya almost falling while trying to climb inside the villa. She quickly saves her.
Anupama reminds Jaya that she had clearly forbidden her from entering the house. Jaya insists that there really was a ghost inside. Anupama gently says that ghosts do not exist. Jaya then reveals that the ghost actually returned her cricket ball which makes her believe that the ghost is a good one.
Anupama says it must have been a person who returned the ball and they should thank him. However when she turns around to say thank you there is no one there.
Precap: Paul throws Anupama and Jaya out of their to find Anupama seeks help from a doctor to find a new place to stay but they are shocked to learn that the doctor has arranged accommodation for them in Saavi Villa.
Jaya becomes frightened and asks Anupama whether they are really going to live in the haunted house.
