Today’s episode opens with Kapil speaking about a harsh and uncomfortable truth. He says that in today’s world when a man suffers at the hands of his own wife society turns it into a joke. No one takes him seriously not the police not the family not even the people around him. He says there is no humanity left for men like him and no one believes that a husband can also be a victim.
Anupama listens to him carefully and tells him that she believes him completely. She says she trusts every single word he is saying. She understands that something very wrong has happened to him in his marriage. She assures him that she is standing with him and even if the whole world doubts him one day the world will listen to his truth and believe him.
Anupama says something very important every woman is not a goddess and every man is not a monster. Sometimes a woman can also misuse her power and destroy a man’s life. Such people should be punished strictly. She reminds him that in their society women are respected like goddesses but that does not mean injustice should be ignored. Fighting against sin is everyone’s duty.
She tells Kapil not to give up and not to stop trying to tell his truth even if no one supports him. He says that this is her daughter’s in-laws house and he does not want any her relationship to get complicated because of him.She says she has full faith in God that everything will be resolved.
Kapil says sadly that the law is not on his side. Anupama replies firmly that they will make the law stand with him. She tells him to collect proof and prove his truth. Before going to court she wants to bring the truth out in front of the court of the house. She says everyone has the right to live without fear and if he is telling the truth he should not lose hope. Justice does not always happen only in court sometimes it begins at home.
Prerna Crosses a Line
The next morning Prerna sees Prem sleeping on the sofa in his room. She goes to cover him with a blanket. While doing so she gets close to him and ends up kissing him. Prem wakes up in shock.
Prerna immediately apologizes and says that her hand got stuck in the blanket. Prem asks her why her hand even came so close to him in the first place. He reminds her clearly that from college till today they have only been friends. There was nothing then and there will never be anything now.
He tells her that he is married and loves Rahi deeply. Rahi trusted Prerna and he cannot betray that trust. Prerna says she understands everything and had no wrong intention. She admits that they were alone and for just one second she became weak but nothing more.
Prem tells her that he had already drawn a clear line between them long ago and she should never try to cross it not even for a second. He says he will never betray Rahi. If Prerna is so weak that she cannot respect his marriage then their friendship and professional relationship should end right now. He asks her to leave immediately and never come in front of him again. Prerna breaks down and begs him not to say that. She says she is already drowning in guilt and promises that this will never happen again. She requests him not to tell Anupama or Rahi saying that after a long time she has found people she can call her own, and she does not want to lose them. She doesn’t want anyone to start hating her.
Prem tells her that he does not hide anything from Rahi. Prerna says she truly understands her mistake and is genuinely sorry. Prem says he needs time to think and leaves in anger. Prerna is left worried scared that she might lose Prem’s friendship forever. She notices that Prem has forgotten his phone and at that moment Rahi calls.
Prem Draws the Boundary
Prerna answers the call. Rahi asks if everything is fine and why Prem’s phone is with her so early in the morning. Prerna lies and says they are preparing for a meeting and that Prem has gone to the washroom so she picked up the call. Rahi feels relieved but says she has been feeling strange since last night as if something is wrong. Prerna assures her that everything is fine and tells her to take care of herself.
Prem snatches the phone back. Rahi tells him she had been trying to call him since last night but couldn’t reach him. She says she has been feeling restless and even their photo frame broke. Prem comforts her and says it’s just a frame even if glass breaks their relationship will not. Their love is not made of glass it is built on promises intentions and their marriage bond. He looks at Prerna and says clearly that no one can separate him from Rahi. He loves Rahi and will always belong only to her.
Mahi’s Silent Pain
At the Kothari house Anupama is feeding Rahi and Ansh. They argue sweetly over who will get the bigger bite. Anupama jokes that this is Rahi’s in-laws house and if Vasundhara sees this she will taunt Rahi for being so childish. She also jokes that Ansh is going to be a father now and should start acting grown-up.
Ansh replies that in front of the world he is mature, but in front of Anupama he becomes a child again. Anupama says there is no relationship better than cousins. Mahi watches all this quietly and remembers how she used to play with them in childhood. Anupama notices Mahi and invites her to join them saying they should forget all their anger for a while and become kids again. Rahi and Ansh also request her. Mahi is about to come but then suddenly runs to her room. Anupama, Rahi and Ansh are surprised.
Ansh says he never thought Mahi would change so much. Rahi wonders why Mahi has become like this. Anupama explains that a person is shaped by time, values and company. Mahi has fought for love all her life. Kavya left Vanraj never accepted her and she kept running after Rahi. She felt that Anupama loved only Rahi not her.
Then she liked Prem but didn’t get him. Then she loved Aryan and even after getting him she lost him. Fear has settled in her heart that she will never get family, love or belonging. When someone carries this fear they start thinking everyone is trying to steal their happiness.
Anupama says that Gautam’s influence has also affected her. Still Mahi is her daughter she can be angry but she cannot hate her. She loves Mahi as much as she loves all her children and prays to God to keep all of them happy. Rahi and Ansh again start fighting playfully over who is Anupama’s favorite. Anupama laughs and says she herself is her own favorite. They all laugh together.
Anupama’s Plan to Expose Kriti
Kapil is called by Anupama. She asks Rahi and Ansh to excuse her. She asks Kapil if everything is fine. Kapil says he is done staying quiet and wants to expose Kriti’s real face in front of everyone. But he doesn’t know how to do it.
Anupama says they cannot stop her but they can use their mind. She tells him to use his phone his biggest weapon. If Kriti misbehaves with him again he should record her and show the world her real face. Kapil says there should be a law for violence against men too. Anupama agrees that such laws exist but people don’t know about them because most domestic violence cases involve women. Still the constitution does not allow injustice to men either. She says they will meet a lawyer. record Kriti’s behavior and first bring the truth in front of the family.
Kapil Accusation
Anupama calls Jassi and says she is at the Kothari house and will come after Prarthana’s delivery. The security informs that a man has come to meet Kapil with urgent news. The man tells Kapil that his mother has met with an accident and is in Kims Hospital. Kapil is shocked. The man says she is not badly hurt and leaves.
Kriti watches all this secretly and looks scared. Kapil says if anything happens to his mother today Kriti will be responsible. He says she scared his mother so much that the poor woman ran away to an old age home.
Parag tells Kapil that Kriti is his wife and he should talk to her properly. Kapil says no one knows Kriti’s real face. Vasundhara says just because he is angry doesn’t mean he can accuse Kriti without proof. Parag says Kriti is not alone and helpless he is with her. Parag adds that if Kriti is not happy with Kapil they should end this relationship. Kapil says he wants the same and asks for a divorce. He says he will never forget Parag’s support. If Kriti is such a good person and he is so bad then free him. He says Kriti will never give him a divorce he might get death but not freedom. He leaves to meet his mother.
Parag asks Kriti why she is tolerating Kapil if he doesn’t want to stay with her. He says he will talk to a divorce lawyer today. At that moment Anupama interrupts and says she wants to say something.
Precap: Kriti gathers everyone and accuses Kapil of hitting her. Parag raises his hand at Kapil in anger. Anupama stops him and shows everyone a video of Kriti. Kriti’s truth comes out in front of the whole family. Kriti is shocked. Anupama says both should learn one lesson fear has no gender and injustice is wrong no matter who the victim is.
